Re: Golf Majors Thread 2015 US OPEN~ DUSTIN JOHNSON 25/1 BETFAIR SPORTSBOOK~Liking the way he is playing this year going well at present at the masters this price wont last. Has done really well to bounce back after all the fun of last year and looks capable of taking a major again 25's is decent in my book.

Re: Golf Majors Thread 2015

Looking forward to thursday bring it on my bets for the Masters- Rickie Fowler 50/1 1-5 Jordan Spieth 40/1 e/w 1-5 Martin Kaymer 80/1 e/w 1-6 Keegan Bradley 80/1 Betfair Sports Book e/w 1-7~Playing very well at present could go well here at a very big price.
Really happy with that Spieth ran away with it he was amazing wouldn't surprise me if he picks up another major this ear and he looks like he will be every bit as good as Rory!!! Another good effort from Fowler his day will surely come soon. Bradley did ok and is worth keeping an eye on while Kaymer was most disappointing but will bounce back to good a player not to. US OPEN BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell E/W 66/1 PP 1-5 Dustin Johnson 25/1 E/W BF Sportsbook 1-5 Keegan Bradley 80/1 E/W Bet 365 1-5~I think he can win a tournament of some sort soon whether it will be a mjor i dont know but worth the risk at the price BRITISH OPEN BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler 33/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth 40/1 e/w Corals 1-5 Shane Lowry 150/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Lee Westwood 66/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell 50/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Ian Poulter 80/1 E/W CORALS 1-5~ Cocky arrogant sh?t at times not my fav player but has being backing up his mouth of late by playing some good golf if he could get him self in contention going into the last round sure to have the crowd behind him price look too big to be in this. USPGA BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler 33/1 Corals E/W 1-5 Jordan Spieth 50/1 Corals E/W 1-5 Graeme McDowell 80/1 Corals 1-5 Hideki Matsuyama 80/1 Corals 1-5 ~Another Young Gun who had a great masters this 23 yo Japanese youngster is a player for the future 80's looks massive in this. Plus~Rickie Fowler to Win a Major 2015 8/1 A very decent portfolio of players and price for me to look forward to in the remaining three majors.

Re: Golf Majors Thread 2015 That was some effort from Rickie Fowler to win the players was +1 after 12 holes on the last day finished -5 after 18 then birdied 2 out 4 on the playoff holes absolute amazing effort. was as big as 60's before the start wont be that price again in a hurry. Think this win will give him a hell of a confident boost and i an see a major to follow shortly! Another player that has impressed me of late and looks capable of collecting a major is Sergio Garcia never won one but as a couple of 2nd places in the British open and a couple in USPGA that illusive major could come now the 35yo Spaniard has matured. Have backed him today E/W for the remaining majors this year. US OPEN 33/1 1-5 PP BRITISH OPEN 25/1 1-6 PP USPGA 33/1 1-5 CORALS US OPEN BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell E/W 66/1 PP 1-5 Dustin Johnson 25/1 E/W BF Sportsbook 1-5 Keegan Bradley 80/1 E/W BET365 1-5 Sergio Garcia 33/1 PP E/W 1-5 BRITISH OPEN BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler 33/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth 40/1 e/w Corals 1-5 Shane Lowry 150/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Lee Westwood 66/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell 50/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Ian Poulter 80/1 E/W CORALS 1-5 Sergio Garcia 25/1 E/W PP 1-6 USPGA BETS SO FAR~ Rickie Fowler 33/1 Corals E/W 1-5 Jordan Spieth 50/1 Corals E/W 1-5 Graeme McDowell 80/1 Corals 1-5 Hideki Matsuyama 80/1 Corals 1-5 . MY US OPEN BETS~ OUTRIGHT Rickie Fowler E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth E/W 40/1 Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell E/W 66/1 PP 1-5 Dustin Johnson 25/1 E/W BF Sportsbook 1-5 Keegan Bradley 80/1 E/W BET365 1-5 Sergio Garcia 33/1 PP E/W 1-5 Rory McIlroy 8/1 PP E/W 1-6 1ST RD LEADER J. Spieth 32 WIN BF R. McIlroy 14/1 E/W PP ....bring it on.
Another fantastic result for the thread with Spieth again bringing home the bacon and Dustin Johnson T2 for e/w money, happy days. Johnson should have forced a playoff with Spieth, him and all the other guys need to take their opportunity when it arrives as Spieth & McIlroy look likely to be dominating the coming majors for the foreseeable future imo no room for chokers, Folwer was woeful nearly as bad as Tiger who looks gone at the game unfortunately! Moving on to the open can't wait really excited with my bet on Lowry at 150/1 played very well this week has a hell of a chance of being involved at ST Andrews imo.

For the Open I am going to be gleefully accepting Corals very kind offer currently on Martin Kaymer of 55/1. I have posted a link below which illustrates that this is going to be the most important week of the year for him and he is gearing everything around it. Not playing the week before and spending the week on Kingbarns etc. He has won the Dunhill Links here, it is his favourite course and he finished in the top 10 in the last open here. He hasn't showed a great deal of form recently, but with everything in the year geared towards The Open I am not unduely concerned. Kaymer is also as low as 25/1 with a number of other firms. So Coral'r price really is a stand out. As for the main competitors, well let's be frank, Speith didn't win the US Open DJ lost it. On Friday he was 3 in front and lost that, he was 3 with a couple of holes to go on sunday and immediately double bogeyed. He still suffers with nerves imo. Additionally before the Masters he had a number of personal tours and a number of visits from Ben Crenshaw and his caddie prior to the tournament, and of course he played Chambers a number of times and his caddie lived on the course. I not so sure he will be flying back and forth every other weekend to St Andrews! The other main competition according to the books is Mr McIlroy. Well Rory hasn't won as much recently and I think it might be because he is in love again with a leggy blonde, and I am not talking about Snedeker! He has found himself a birdie who works for the USPGA and we all know what happened to Rory's form when he engaged to Wozniacki don't we! I could go on and on but anyway. 55/1 looks good to me.

MY BRITISH OPEN BETS Rickie Fowler 33/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Jordan Spieth 40/1 e/w Corals 1-5 Shane Lowry 150/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Lee Westwood 66/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Graeme McDowell 50/1 E/W Corals 1-5 Ian Poulter 80/1 E/W CORALS 1-5 Sergio Garcia 25/1 E/W PP 1-6 Hideki Matsuyama 50/1 Corals 1-5 :hope
Just the one placer with Spieth thought he was going to win it when he sunk that very long putt at the 16th. Shane Lowry effort was a major disappointment but on to the next and final one for the year i'm off on holiday so putting this up now. Good luck all. USPGA BETS Rickie Fowler 33/1 Corals E/W 1-5~In good form should go close. Jordan Spieth 50/1 Corals E/W 1-5~Having a fantastic year will be in the mix again here. Graeme McDowell 80/1 Corals 1-5 e/w~Starting to play a bit better has a squeak. Hideki Matsuyama 80/1 Corals 1-5 e/w~Whatever does this year is a bonus will be a big player in the majors next year imo! Sergio Garcia 33/1 1-5 Corals~Often flatters to deceive but capable of closing one imo. Jason Day 33/1 1-5 PP~ Would so like to see this guy win a major this year really deserves one.

WOW back to form with a 1st (33/1) & 2nd (50/1) in the last major of the year to cap off an amazing year finding 3 of the 4 major winners (tipped @ 40/1 40/1 33/1) of which 2 I had the 1st & 2nd. Placers where 50/1 40/1 25/1 not to bad at all roll on next years Majors :) ....and not a bad effort for my thoughts on the majors at the start of the year( see below) move over Mystic Meg the one and only Mystic Ted is here!!!!! 30-12-2014, 21:03~Re: Golf Majors Thread 2015 Here's my guess, predication, hopes, whatever you want to call it for the 2015 majors, what's yours? Masters: Spieth & Fowler to win it for the yanks slightly favour Fowler who has the more experience here. Hope i'm wrong but i think McIlroy will struggle to win it this year. Kaymer is 66's for this and of the european threat its him i like has e/w chances. US Open: Normal service to resume here and Mcilroy is the one to beat for me and i think Spieth will do what Flower did last year be in with a chance in every major going into the last day . British Open: Rory McIlroy will be all out to defend his crown and is the one to beat at a course that suits him also feel S. Lowry can go on from a brave effort last year has a definite e/w chance 150/1 is insult to him imo. Kaymer could also get involved in this one PGA Championship: Mcilroy could well be going for his 2nd or 3rd major by this time who knows but i think a yank can take it again Fowler & Spieth would be my choice along with D. Johnson who had a 2013 to forget with one thing and another i can see him bounce back and go close or even win a major in 2015. So for me 2015 majors will be dominated mainly by young golfers i don't see Tiger winning one nor Mickelson but can't wait to see what really unfolds.

As we are getting near to the end of the 2015 my thoughts are turning to the majors next year i can see all 4 being dominated by Spieth & McIlroy could easily see them winning all the majors between them next year any bookmaker lay me a decent price on that?! I have come across a market PP have its  to be top 5,top 10 & top 20 in all four majors  and i think the price are very generous considering Fowler was top5 in all four 2 years ago and spieth did the same last year these are the player and prices i,ve taken- Top 5 McILROY 25/1 SPIETH  25/1 FOWLER 100/1 Top 10-  McILROY 9/1 FOWLER 28/1 MATSUYAMA 50/1 -Top 20 MATSUYAMA 12/.1 A very interesting market with  some very decent prices  well worth a look imo.

Ok i really think Spieth and Rory will be the two key figures in  the majors next year but are no value to punt on  my e/w bets are as in above posts plus these~~Masters  Folwer 28/1  Kaymer 150/1 ~US Open Fowler 25/1 Kaymer 66/1 Matsuyama 40/1~ British Opem Fowler 25/1 Kaymer  50/1 ~USPGA Fowler 28/1. Fowler had a good year in 2015 but now needs to win a major to step to the next level. Kaymer is always a nice price for majors bookies don't give the double winning major enough credit imo. Well that's me done in here till just before  the Masters starts  in April have a good 2016 all see you then.

I have just taken 100/1 for  Mcilroy & Spieth to win all 4 majors this year have been trying to get a bookie to give me a price for this for some time most bookies didn"t want to know but good old Paddy Powers came up with the goods  i find them very helpful and i feel they  give  me a very fair price & unlike a lot of others  they are very easy to deal with and and imo they are the best bookies online.

Very poor effort  from Fowler this week not good enough Rickie

Not long now until the leaders tee off Spieth  is in pole position and will be very hard to beat imo. Im hoping  Matsuyama gets a good start top 5 spot is their for him  and who knows  could even win it. Would be amazing if Langer won it but i think it will be very hard for the old fellow can't really see it happen. Day & Johnson deffo  have a squeak especially Day.Really lookig forward to this  game on C,mon Hideki!!

AN BYEON- HUN  is a real good up an coming South Korean who will only improve imo i have backed him at 100/1 for the us and british opens and 150/1 for the uspga  this year but will be probably next year on that he will be a real major threat for the majors but worth a play at the price deffo a player to follow closely.
