July 28 - August 3

Re: July 28 - August 3 Given that we don't even know if/when play is going to start in Kitzbuhel, I wouldn't dare to jump on that treble. thanks for the advice CzechPunter. glad i listened to you now mate. i just need a nice win after my tennis bet failed yesterday. John Isner let me down for a very nice return, so im still reeling from losing that bet.

Re: July 28 - August 3 Back J.Monaco/A.Seppi - Over 2.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 2.37 with Paddy Power There's very little between these two clay court specialists right now and their recent meeting in Hamburg showed what the dynamic is all about, so I wouldn't be surprised to see this match go to a decider. Re: July 28 - August 3 Back B.Jovanovski/M.Erakovic - Over 2.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 2.25 with Paddy Power Nearly every single match Jovanovski plays these days is a three-setter, so chances are that we're going to see a long match here as well. Erakovic has already produced two good performances in Washington this week, so she should be able to match Jovanovski throughout the entire contest - at the same time, however, I don't believe that she has what it takes to beat Jovanovski in two. Re: July 28 - August 3 Back Vasek Pospisil to beat Santiago Giraldo for a 7/10 stake at 1.79 with Pinnacle I liked what I saw from Vasek Pospisil in his match against Tomas Berdych, so I am happy to back him against Santiago Giraldo today. He seems to be firing on all cylinders right now and the victories against Ram and Berdych should give him the confidence that he was lacking in the singles recently, so I think that he'll be too strong for the Colombian today. Re: July 28 - August 3 Back Vania King Total Games - Under 10 for a 7/10 stake at 1.92 with Pinnacle Vania King did well to beat Christina McHale yesterday, but I can't see her getting past Svetlana Kuznetsova. I have to admit that I was slightly worried about the Russian's chances in Washington after the strange loss that she suffered against Michelle Larcher de Brito in Wimbledon, but she's bounced back with two decent victories against Hercog and Flipkens, so I expect her to beat King without any difficulties today. Back David Goffin to win ATP Kitzbuhel for a 2/10 stake at 21.25 with Pinnacle Back Dominic Thiem to win ATP Kitzbuhel for a 2/10 stake at 19.50 with Betsson I'll go for young talent in Kitzbuhel. Goffin is on a very impressive comeback run at the moment and is certainly capable of doing well on the main tour, while I also trust Thiem to bounce back from that disappointing loss against Troicki now that he'll also have home conditions on his side. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/atp-kitzbuhel-betting-goffin-and-thiem-not-to-be-underestimated-in-austria-this-week
It must be tempting to just stick to outrights Czech, as you seem to be quite good at picking them. Obviously you miss more than you hit as implied by the prices, but in terms of effort and time expended I would imagine you get a better return this way for less work.

Re: July 28 - August 3 Yep, but the losing streaks can get unbearable. Anyway, it's certainly nice to see this happen from time to time. Will be cheering for Goffin in the finals - not because of the odds, but because I think that he deserves it a bit more than Thiem.

Re: July 28 - August 3 Back Ana Ivanovic (+4.5 games) to beat Serena Williams for a 7/10 stake at 1.98 with Pinnacle For no major reason during this season, Serena is struggling to play at her best level. Ivanovic succeeded for the first time to push Serena in 3 sets during their last two meetings and she even succeeded to win one of the matches during the Australian Open. Today, the situation hasn't really changed, Serena is still doubting and she had recently some viral problems forcing her to withdraw from the clay tournament in Bastad. She has'nt played a lot during the summer so I take it for granted that she is a bit rusty. I am not especially convinced by the chance of victory for the serbian, but I am convinced that she will bother Serena and push her into a tight match, that's why I think that her handicap deserve some stakes so I'll back Ivanovic on the plus games handicap at such a decent price.

Re: July 28 - August 3 Yep, let's hope that he'll get the job done for you! Back D.Thiem/D.Goffin - Over 2.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 2.25 with Paddy Power Both guys are playing well right now, but both have also had their fair share of chokes on their way to the finals, so chances are that we're going to see a three-setter today, especially with the nerves possibly coming into play as well (it's the first ATP final for both of them). Re: July 28 - August 3 Back Karin Knapp (-4.5) to beat Andrea Hlavackova for a 7/10 stake at 2.00 with Pinnacle Hlavackova seems to be stuck in a really bad form at the moment, so I fancy Knapp to win this with something to spare. Not only did she look good last time out in Istanbul, but she's also certainly the better player of the two right now. Re: July 28 - August 3 Back Carol Zhao (+5.5) to beat Kristyna Pliskova for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Pinnacle Kristyna Pliskova has been struggling for quite some time now and she's often careless in these supposedly easy matches, so the 5.5 games line looks a touch high to me, especially since Zhao seemed to be playing well in Stanford. Re: July 28 - August 3

Followed with small stakes on Petkovic, Kerber and Goffin.
Thanks for the money Czechpunter! Also both Kerber and Petkovic in semis...so it's probable that WTA Stanford outright bets can be profitable too. One of them has to beat Serena though. :hope

Re: July 28 - August 3 Thanks for the kind words guys, really appreciate it. Back Vasek Pospisil Total Games - Over 10.5 for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Paddy Power Given how well he's playing right now, I fancy Pospisil to win at least eleven games against Raonic today. It can be done even without breaking Raonic's serve, after all, and the world's number seven hasn't looked all that impeccable so far in this tournament either. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/pospisil-vs-raonic-betting-vasek-pospisil-can-impress-against-milos-raonic-in-washington Back Svetlana Kuznetsova (-4) to beat Kurumi Nara for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Pinnacle Nara deserves plenty of respect for what she's done this week, but Kuznetsova should be way too strong for her today. The Russian has done nothing wrong so far in this event and Nara looks like a match-up that she should enjoy, after all. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/kuznetsova-vs-nara-betting-svetlana-kuznetsova-should-be-way-too-strong-for-kurumi-nara Back Karin Knapp (-3.5) to beat Michelle Larcher de Brito for a 7/10 stake at 1.96 with Pinnacle Knapp crushed Hlavackova yesterday, so I think that she'll be able to beat Larcher de Brito quite comfortably today as well. The conditions in Montreal shouldn't be incredibly fast and that should give Knapp the advantage in this match-up, as it should allow her to counter Larcher de Brito's flashy strokes with some very consistent shot-making. Re: July 28 - August 3 combo pick : Davis - U. Radwanska 1 1.35 Ka. Pliskova - Bacsinszky 1 1.6 --------------------------------- 2.16 Pinnacle 8/10 Pick on Davis and against Radwanska.. Lauren considerably improved her game this year. Earlier she was to passive, now it's clearly visible that se has much more aggressive approach. Thin she changed the racket too, has more power in her shoots.. She has some great scalps this year : Azarenka, Errani, Peng, Karolina Pliskova, twice Julia Goerges, Lepchenko.. 18:14 this season on main events. Ursula is having terrible season. Because of health problems she is simply not capable to return her level of play.. 2012 and first half of 2013 she was 50% winner and now she has only one victory and twelve defeats this season in main events, qualifications excluded.. can't be worse then that. Davis is just to solid for flashy younger sister Radwanska, so IMHO easy victory for young American girl. Karolina Pliskova is already top 50 in rankings, and in my opinion she is future top 10 if she can find coach who will be able to teach her to some finesse in her game. She have great serve and forehand but tends to go for too much all the time. Her movement can be better too. I’m betting quite often on her this season. So far so good 25:17 score. She is such great potential.. Bacsinszky is coming back.. Didn’t see this coming. When she had terrible injury at the beginning of 2011 season, I was thinking that can’t reach top level again. For three seasons she was good enough for challenger level but usually failed to qualify for main events. Finally this season at Oueiras she managed to pass qualification matches and won few rounds. Played in quoters but lost to Begu.. After that she managed trough qualifications to play in booth grand slams main draw matches. Won against Zanevska and Fichman and that was it. I’m glad that she is doing better. She is such a nice person, but I still don’t think that she reached level of play to be serious contender for top 50 player. Her main weakness is bad movement, ok in this match today with probably a lot of short points, this is not important, but i don’t see why we have such big odds, if I am a bookie , no more than 1.3 on Pliskova win would be my choice. Match will be decided by winners / unforced ratio of czech player..
