Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July Motherwell to beat Stjarnan 9/5 Coral Although the first leg finished 2-2 on Thursday night at Fir Park I was surprised to see Motherwell as outsiders for the return leg in Iceland. Motherwell were very comfortable at 2-0 and looked like sewing up the tie before the second leg when 2-0 up early on last week. However a penalty for the visitors prior to half time gave them the confidence to improve in the second half and snatch a draw at the death from the penalty spot. Stjarnan are well into their season and this was Motherwell's first competitive game of the season last week so I'd expect an improved and more professional performance from Motherwell as they were a bit off the pace in the second half last week. I'd expect Stuart McCall to have the team fully focused for this game as it is crucial in terms of finances to qualify for the next round. Stjarnan are a semi professional team and I feel that Motherwell should have enough class to get over the line.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July Ferencvaros v Rijeka OK so saw a preview on Betshoot that caught my interest. http://www.betshoot.com/93866-Ferencvaros-vs-Rijeka-betting-tips Thought the praise for Rijeka in the first match was quite strong but looking at the stats, they are very lopsided. Croats had 63% of the ball, 10 shots on target and 4 shots wide. The telling stat is the Ferencavos had zero shots on target and zero shots wide. So when the tipster wrote it should have been 3-0, he wasn't exaggerating. Corners were 12-1 for the home side as well. Seems the Hungarians were playing with 10 behind the ball but at home they need a goal now and will be vulnerable leaving spaces behind them. Not really that confident on the away victory because there's no pressure to win. Perhaps a double chance on the away side @ 1.40 Bet365 would be useful accumulator material. Rijeka beat Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 in the Super Cup and followed that up by winning their first league match 1-3 away to NK Zagreb at the weekend. Feren's domestic league is yet to begin and they just scraped past a Maltese outfit to get to this round.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July Stan James have the 0-0 in the Krasnodar match @ 101, whereas it's as low as 21 in other places, so I've had a small go at that. I'm not saying 0-0 will happen, but we know what a bad attitude Russian sides have, and being 4-0 up, you wouldn't expect them to be all guns blazing, so could be a trade.

I just remember Trans Narva - another Russian-speaking Estonian team (Sillamae is almost completely Russian ethnicity town, and so are most of the players), which was losing huge every time in Europe and they looked like assisting their opponents in scoring the goals. Also, class gap is too huge. Krasnodar is actually one of the best teams in Russia, in the last half an year I think they are at par with Zenith and CSKA. They got some really classy Brazilians. And the Estonian teams are not known to be best bus-parkers, they play rather negligently at the back. I think it is a game to bet live. There is a very high chance of a slow start from Krasnodar and no goals for the first 20-30 minutes, which would adjust the odds. I am pretty sure Krasnodar will win with 3+ goals, but of course, current odds are complete joke.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July 5pts MYPA vs Dinamo Minsk - Both teams to score - No @ 2.05 Betway Dinamo Minsk dominated the first leg winning 3-0. They also had 10:3 corners, 4:1 shots on target, 13:1 shots wide and 67% possession. Since then, Dinamo Minsk played in their league and won 3-1 and MYPA lost 3-0 in their league. Based on all the above mentioned facts, I think Dinamo Minsk should have it easy again and should not concede against their opponents who are clearly out of their depth here.

I've only had a small go at it. I just think 101 is over the top, you probably wouldn't get that if Germany played San Marino :)

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July

5pts MYPA vs Dinamo Minsk - Both teams to score - No @ 2.05 Betway Dinamo Minsk dominated the first leg winning 3-0. They also had 10:3 corners, 4:1 shots on target, 13:1 shots wide and 67% possession. Since then, Dinamo Minsk played in their league and won 3-1 and MYPA lost 3-0 in their league. 5pts Dinamo Minsk to win @ 1.80 WilliamHill Decided to pull the trigger on Dinamo Minsk to win as well. MYPA seem to be in really poor form, their last 5 games read as: 3-0 loss, 0-0 draw, 3-0 win, 3-0 loss, 3-0 loss. Whereas Dinamo Minsk seem to be in top form, their last 5 games read as: 0-2 win, 1-0 win, 0-1 win, 3-0 win, 3-1 win. Dinamo Minsk has only conceded one goal in their last 5 games and MYPA only managed to score in one of their last 5 games. All things said, I think this match will be about damage limitation for MYPA and I fully expect Dinamo Minsk to win here. I should also add that Dinamo Minsk have an important match with BATE but that's well over a week from now, so playing a full strength squad here should not deter them one bit.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July

A tip on the Krasnodar game is that Betway offers 1.9 on BTTS No. First of all it is a very good odds but you can also get 2.78 on Yes so it is a very nice surebet if you do not like it.
I checked yesterday and indeed the bet was there, but today it's gone. Interesting to see whether it will be cancelled for those who took it?

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July 4pts Trencin DNB @ 2.10 Betway I cannot help but feel this bet has a touch of value about it. This tie is pretty much over considering Trencin won the first leg 4-0. They dominated the statistics, 7:2 corners, 4:0 shots on target, 8:2 shots wide and 60% in favour of them. Vojvodina's season doesn't begin till 9th of August whereas Trencin's season has already begun. Trencin also has somewhat good momentum having won 4 games on the trot now 4-2 win, 3-0 win, 2-1 win and 4-0 win, whereas Vojvodina's pre-season has had somewhat mixed results, 1-1 draw, 0-3 win, 1-0 loss and 4-0 loss. I think it's safe to say the team with the better momentum (Trencin) have a decent chance of winning this second leg and with our stake being returned should it be a draw, I'm happy to be backing this.

Interesting to see whether it will be cancelled for those who took it?[/quote'] Shouldn't be voided, not an obvious palp, be cheeky if they tried to anyway. Bookies obviously a bit nervous about the game, not the usual number pricing it up in the normal ways.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July Haugesund v Sarajevo - Sarajevo @ 2.8 with betfair Looks a cracking bet to me. I admit to not knowing too much about these teams, but going into this match Sarajevo are 1-0 down from the home leg so there is no worry about them just going for a draw, or a scoring draw being enough to progress. Just looking at the 1st leg stats, Haugesund scored with their only shot on target in the match. Sarajevo however had 30 attempts! And 14 shots on target. Also won the corner count 12:1. Going by the stats it looked a very one sided game, and as I understand it, Sarajevo appear to be the superior team of the two. DNB also available around 2 on betfair for the more cautious amongst us.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July 6pts Trnava vs Zestafoni - Total corners - Over 9.5 @ 1.67 Bet365 This is a bit of a speculative bet, but I have a good feeling about it. The first leg saw 8:7 corners in favour of Trnava. Since then they have played which they drew 0-0 as well but which saw then win the corner count 8-1. They won a game prior to that 3-0 and had 7:1 corners in their favour. Zestafoni also got 6 corners in two of their last 4 games prior to the first leg (I cannot find the stats for the other two). All things said, I think this has a really good chance at landing considering the first leg had 15 corners in it!

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July 5pts Zimbru vs CSKA Sofia - Over 9.5 asian total corners @ 1.95 Bet365 I think this is a cracking bet. The first leg finished 1-1 and 12:5 corner count in favour of CSKA Sofia, it's safe to say that they dominated the game based on the other stats and might be worth backing to win, but I was pulled along to this bet instead. The two previous games that Zimbru have played prior to the first leg has seen 13 (7:6) and 17 (10:7) corners in them and this indicates to me that they are a team that don't mind conceding corners and have more than enough attacking threat to win a number of corners themselves. The game prior to the 1st leg and their 1st league game (after the 1st leg) saw 11 (7:4) and 9 (4:5) corners in their favour. Either way I look at this, with the tie finely poised, CSKA will go on the attack, and the corners should rack up either way.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July 5pts Gotenburg (-1.0 AH) @ 1.72 Bet365 Gotenburg won the 1st leg 0-3 away from home, though the stats don't really suggest such a one-sided affair, I think it is more due to a lack of match fitness than anything that Gyor lost the 1st leg so heavily at home. They have only played one pre-season game since the end of their season prior to their 1st leg which they also lost 0-1. Gotenburg are in the middle of their season and are 5th out of 16th in their league. Since the 1st leg, they played in their league again and won 3-1. They face the same opponents in a reverse fixture over the weekend and should win that with some ease again considering their opponents are 14th in the league. Gotenburg are undefeated in their last 18 games (6-2, 0-2, 2-2, 0-3, 3-1 in their last 5) as well and should have more than enough in their locker to dispose of a team lacking match fitness again if not at the very minimum win here.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July

I checked yesterday and indeed the bet was there' date=' but today it's gone. Interesting to see whether it will be cancelled for those who took it?[/quote'] Coral had BTTS @ 3.40, then 3.10, then briefly 3.75, now back at 3.4. Must have known that I was in the process of logging on to internet banking and filling up my account :lol When I did get part one of my attempted arb on it was referred to a trader. So the good news is I now know Coral limit me, and what the paltry limit is :lol

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July

4pts Trencin DNB @ 2.10 Betway I cannot help but feel this bet has a touch of value about it.
It is a very bad situation in Vojvodina. Tonight they will play without 4 players from first squad and they decide not to charge for ticket so somebody will actually come to watch them. Also in first game their player Veselinovic played 80 minutes and he was suspended 3 games last year in Euro Cup so now we also expecting some fine from UEFA.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July

Ferencvaros v Rijeka OK so saw a preview on Betshoot that caught my interest. http://www.betshoot.com/93866-Ferencvaros-vs-Rijeka-betting-tips Thought the praise for Rijeka in the first match was quite strong but looking at the stats, they are very lopsided.
Rijeka have problem with the absence in midle, Moises key player, and subs. on MF also injured(Males and Mocinic-both NT team)I expect hard game with many folus, and IMO bets bet over asian cards(if some bookie give this bet) local have 3,5 line(not asian)

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July I see a good chance of Polish side Lech Poznan beating Kalju today by some margin. First leg saw Estonian side beat Lech 1-0, despite the away side dominating the game (17 shots on goal). Despite the result, there seems to be quite some gap in the quality of the two sides, which Lech will want to prove today They will be cautious not to concede because an away goal would mean they have to score 3 to progress. Yesterday in the press conference Lech's manager told that as much as he believes his side can score 3+, his players will be wary not to let one in at their own end. He also stressed how motivated the side is, and how good group of players he has this season. Last weekend they produced a 4-0 hammering in the league, and they will be looking for a repeat here Before placing my bet, I called my brother-in-law who attends all Lech games and he only confirmed what is written in the Polish press - the team is determined and raring to go, and he believes this team can score 3-4 goals today As for the odds - they are skinny for the straight home win, with the asian handicap of -1.75 trading at ~1.60 However, over 2.5 & Both teams not to score @3 looks like a good bet to me I'll be having it for 5 points, with bet365

Seems converting chances into goals remains a problem.

Re: Europa League Second Qual Round 2nd Leg - Tues 22 July to Thurs 24 July Cukaricki to beat Grodig 12.00 Marathonbet These odds are influenced entirely by the scoreline in the first leg. It finished 4-0 for Grodig, but Cukaricki played with 10 men since the 25 minute. Also the last three goals were scored in the last 5 minutes. Gordig finished third in the Austrian Bundesliga, Cukaricki - fifth in the Serbian Superliga. Excluding Red Bull Salzburg, the leagues are more or less on the same level. The match will not be played at Grodig's home ground, but in Salzburg. Also the Austrian Bundesliga has already started and Grodig should have one eye on the weekend fixture at home to Sturm Graz. At these huge odds, Cukaricki to win is surely worth a play.

Almost identical situation to last season when Lech was 1-0 down against Zalgiris of Lithuania and ended up winning the 2nd leg 2-1 with 2 late goals but were eliminated. Backing any Polish side in europe to score lots of goals or with big handicaps is a big big risk in my opinion, they are not that much better than Kalju as the first leg proved. I looked at taking Kalju +2AH but I've seen there missing a few key players so no bet for me, hope Lech qualify but wouldn't be surprised if they don't.

Legia won 0-5 on the road against similar opponent last night' date='Lech should have a big home crowd they should beat weak Estonian team travelling Is not good[/quote'] Legia won yes but Legia are much better than Lech, Legia were terrible in the first leg and I don't think they played amazing yesterday but they scored quite early which forced their opponents out and then scored 3 late goals, 0-5 was very flattering. Lech also have failed under pressure in all of their 'big' games under coach Rumak, including european games and big league matches vs Legia who they haven't won against since he's been coach. Lech had a big home crowd last year and failed I don't think its a relevant point, their team is not different to last season and I agree on paper they should win but I thought the same last year, for me there is no value backing Lech or goals in this game.
