Re: Scottish Football > Saturday August 9th Newly promoted dundee to beat killie is my bet of the weekend @ 6/4 hills. Dundee have made 12 new signings all of which have been impressive in close season friendlies wins against Manchester city hearts and morecambe . We looked good against Peterhead last week and although they are a lower league side it is that type of game we have struggled with in the past . We never looked like losing this game and manager Paul Hartley has said that the team will get better the more they play with each other , a very impressive midfield a solid looking defence and a quality strike force leads me to think we can finish top 6 this year and I think the bookies have underestimated us and fancy we will be over priced for games at the start if the season starting with this one , I don't think 6/4 will be available by Saturday

5/6 is pretty good value. In our 2 European games we drew them both 2-2 in 90 minutes before going out in extra time against Stjarnan, a semi-professional, of Iceland. We've came out the blocks very well early on in these games but tend to struggle the longer a game goes on which was a common trait of last season. 2-0 up against St Mirren, Hibs and Celtic and end up 3-2, 3-3 and 3-3 in these games in 2014 without winning any of them. The older heads in the team have came back from preseason looking unfit and we've replaced a poor goalkeeper with another poor goalkeeper in Twardzik who is far too small to be successful in my opinion. There are injury concerns ahead of Saturday and our main playmaker, Vigurs, is out suspended. I think we'll be good enough to score but very much doubt we're capable of keeping a clean sheet. St Mirren tend to cause us problems at Fir Park and should get a lift with the new boss in charge. St Mirren at 4/1 with Boylesports is huge just to win. Both teams to score at 4/5 with 32RED looks appealing too.

Dundee have assembled a good squad and look a decent shout to challenge for the top six in a reasonably weak league this year. They have added solid SPFL quality to the squad and the two players signed from German lower league have really impressed in pre-season. Big crowd at Dens Park tomkrrow and I think home win is a very likely outcome.

Re: Scottish Football > August 9th & 10th A buy of MacLeod's goal minutes, for Rangers v Hearts, at 7 with SPIN looks a decent enough option. I'd equate that to around 13/2 anytime when he's 9/2 in one place and shorter everywhere else. Scored in 5 of his 16 starts in the league last season. I paid 8 as took the bet earlier and wouldn't put anyone off at that price if you only bet with Spreadex.
