Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Tournament preview: 1pt ew R.Day to win Wuxi Classic 66/1 Paddy Power (1/2 1-2) Ryan Day was one of those and he is my pick this week. Day has been improving steadily over the last 12-18 months and was a semi finalist in the Asian PTC last week. He was due to run into Ding in the last 16 this week but that isn’t the case anymore obviously and he can take advantage of that. Day made a couple of semi finals last season and has begun this season well and a good week here will propel him back towards the top of the game. He has a nice draw through to the quarter finals which makes him look overpriced at 66/1. Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Monday TV previews: 3pts J.Trump (-3.5 frames) to beat D.Grace 5/4 Bet365 Trump will be focused to come through this match and I think he will. David Grace has got some matches in him recently but he isn’t going to have the class to compete with Trump should the former UK champion play well. If he doesn’t play well then anyone is vulnerable at this stage of the season but with the ambition of winning tournaments this season I expect to see Judd put a marker down here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/grace-vs-trump-betting-judd-trump-can-open-tournament-with-easy-win 4pts X.Guodong (-2.5 frames) to beat R.Hull 6/5 Paddy Power I like Xiao Guodong as a player and I expect him to have a big season and push himself right up in the rankings this year. His scoring is fantastic and I expect him to get chances in this match because Hull isn’t as heavy a scorer as perhaps he used to be and while he is competent he’ll need a couple of chances to win frames. I’m not sure he’ll get it against this fellow though. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/guodong-vs-hull-betting-xiao-can-thrill-the-local-crowds-in-opening-round 4pts M.Fu (-2.5 frames) to beat C.Steadman Evs Betfred I expect Marco Fu to win this. We know he’s playing well from his run last week and he has a good record in China so Craig Steadman will be up against it here and if the Englishman doesn’t get a frame on the board quite early then this one could run away from him quite quickly. Marco Fu is one of the best all round players in the game so Steadman won’t be able to outscrap him so I see a comfortable Fu win here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/fu-vs-steadman-betting-marco-fu-can-open-his-wuxi-run-with-a-win 4pts J.Higgins vs A.McGill - Over 7.5 frames Evs Skybet I think this match will be a bit closer than it looks on paper. McGill will probably be inspired by playing one of his heroes whereas Higgins hasn’t really blown players away from a while. He still gets more than enough wins but he doesn’t dominate matches from start to finish like we’ve seen him do in the past so I think we’ll see at least eight frames here regardless of who wins. Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Tuesday TV previews: 3pts B.Hawkins (-3.5 frames) to beat L.Page 11/8 Boylesports I can’t see anything other than a comfortable Barry Hawkins win here. He is a top player now and while he has the odd poor event in him it is usually only after he’s played a lot of snooker. That’s not the case this week so I expect him to go well. Page will take a few frames to adjust to the conditions and the lights and things and by the time he’s done that Hawkins could be away and gone. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/page-vs-hawkins-betting-barry-hawkins-can-ease-past-amateur-in-first-round 3pts J.Burnett to beat L.Wenbo 13/8 Betfair I think this will be a tougher match for Wenbo than the home crowd would like and with the pressure to deliver a win Wenbo could be strangled in his free flowing snooker a little bit. Another thing to strangle him will be Burnett’s style which is generally to keep things tight and not worry if the match does go a little scrappy. Given his nice run last week the Scot is a shade overpriced to me here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/wenbo-vs-burnett-betting-jamie-burnett-can-continue-good-start-for-the-scots 4pts M.Selby (-2.5 frames) to beat R.Williams 8/11 Paddy Power I can’t see past Selby in this match and I expect him to win with more than a bit in hand. He can win the scrappy matches and he can win the open high scoring ones and I think being world champion will push him on to raise his performances. Williams wasn’t great in the wildcard round and living to tell the tale was an achievement in itself but it is Selby for me in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/r-williams-vs-selby-betting-world-champion-can-open-up-with-comfortable-win 4pts G.Dott (-2.5 frames) to beat Z.Yuelong 11/10 Betfred Graeme Dott probably doesn’t achieve what he should in his career these days but he knows how to take care of the young bucks and I think that is important. I think he’ll have too much for his opponent here. Dott’s safety game is very good and he still scores well enough when given the chances and you would think Chou’s erratic nature will give Dott the chances. The Scot should come through this easily enough. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/yuelong-vs-dott-betting-graeme-dott-can-be-too-good-for-chinese-youngster

Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Wednesday TV previews: 3pts N.Robertson (-3.5 frames) to beat M.Georgiou 11/10 Paddy Power Robertson will win this barring something quite unlikely. The question is how many will he win by and I think the answer will be a fair few. We’ve seen the top players ease past the newcomers regularly in this tournament so far. This may be slightly difference because Georgiou has already played a game but Robertson’s scoring power should see him through as a comfortable winner, possibly even 5-0. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/robertson-vs-georgiou-betting-neil-robertson-can-cruise-into-the-last-16 3pts M.Fu (-2.5 frames) to beat J.Jones 5/4 Paddy Power I like Fu in this match. As I said he is very tough to beat when he scores well and you don’t usually get open matches against Craig Steadman so to rattle in a ton and a couple of other decent breaks is a good effort. Jamie Jones hasn’t shown his best form for a while and his tactical game isn’t the best so I don’t see Fu having too many problems coming through this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/fu-vs-jones-betting-marco-fu-can-dismiss-jamie-jones-with-ease 4pts B.Woollaston vs J.Trump - Over 7.5 frames 5/4 Spreadex I’m not so sure Trump will have this all his own way. Woollaston is a more than capable player who if he finds his scoring boots can not only challenge for the former UK champion but beat him as well. We should expect Trump to up his scoring but perhaps not enough to blow Woollaston away so I like the sound of over 7.5 frames before this one is finally concluded. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/woollaston-vs-trump-betting-trump-may-be-made-to-work-hard-in-second-round 5pts M.Selby (-1.5 frames) to beat L.Wenbo 8/11 Paddy Power I am surprised the handicap line is 1.5 frames in this match because I can see Selby running out a fairly comfortable winner. The two met in the World Open last season and Selby won that 5-1 and I can see similar here if Liang isn’t spot on with his long potting. I think eventually Selby’s all round game will be too good for the Chinese player and the world champion can progress without losing more than three frames. Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Thursday TV previews: 4pts N.Robertson vs M.Holt - Over 7.5 frames 6/5 Paddy Power I think Robertson will win this but Michael Holt’s form has be respected and as such I don’t see the Australian running away with this match. Holt is scoring well at the minute and having won plenty of matches in China he should be full of confidence going into this match. Robertson looked a little rusty in his first match but even though he won this tournament last year he doesn’t always play well in China so Holt can make him work hard here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/robertson-vs-holt-betting-michael-holt-can-keep-this-close-throughout 4pts S.Murphy (-2.5 frames) to beat Z.Xintong 11/10 Bet365 Zhao Xintong has done wonderfully well to get this far in the tournament but I think he has met his match now and I would expect Murphy to see him off. Murphy’s tactical game will be far superior and he is scoring heavily enough to win frames in one visit. Murphy seems to be cueing as well as he was at the end of last season and should be too good for the youngster here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/xintong-vs-murphy-betting-shaun-murphy-can-be-too-good-in-last-16 4pts S.Maguire to beat J.Trump 11/8 BetVictor I like Maguire here. He has been getting the better of Trump in their recent battles and he’s playing well this week which bodes well for him. Trump is yet to show his best form and if he hasn’t got that with him here then he is unlikely to go any further in the tournament. Maguire matches up well to Trump and so I’ll take the Scot in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/maguire-vs-trump-betting-maguire-can-have-too-much-for-trump-in-china 4pts J.Perry vs L.Wenbo - Over 7.5 frames 5/6 Spreadex I think this will be a close match. Both look in good form and are playing well and both like to play an open game so I expect this to be a good watch too. Perry looks in awesome form but Wenbo is scoring better than he ever has done so I don’t see either running away with this. It should be close throughout so over 7.5 frames looks a good thing to me here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/perry-vs-wenbo-betting-two-form-players-should-produce-a-tight-battle

Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun QF previews: 5pts M.Fu vs B.Hawkins - Over 7.5 frames 4/5 Paddy Power These two look fairly evenly matched to me so I expect this to be a pretty close contest. They have played a couple of close matches in the past and with both looking in decent enough form this week I see no reason why this won’t be another one. Fu may edge it overall but I don’t see Hawkins disappearing easily so I like the look of over 7.5 frames in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/fu-vs-hawkins-betting-quarter-final-could-go-all-the-way 4pts N.Robertson vs S.Murphy - Over 7.5 frames 17/20 Coral I think this will be another close quarter final. Both men are heavy scorers and we should see a lot of one visit frames if they are both on it. Murphy has a good record in China and he doesn’t fear anyone. If pushed I’d probably still side with Robertson purely because of his strength under pressure but I expect to see eight frames if not nine before this one is done. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/robertson-vs-murphy-betting-two-top-stars-can-be-hard-to-separate 4pts S.Maguire (-1.5 frames) to beat M.Gould 19/20 Boylesports Martin Gould has done well to get this far but his draw has been fairly kind and I expect him to meet his match in this one. Maguire is here on merit and the way he controlled the table against Judd Trump should give him a lot of confidence when taking on Gould who plays a lot like Trump. Maguire looks good in all departments and should have too much here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/gould-vs-maguire-betting-stephen-maguire-should-prove-too-strong-in-quarter-final 4pts R.Hull vs J.Perry - Over 7.5 frames Evs Paddy Power Although Perry is a favourite here I think Robin Hull can really challenge him. The Finn is playing really well this week and has rattled in some remarkable breaks and if he has saved some for this match he could even pull off a big surprise. I don’t think Perry will beat Hull easily and I would be surprised if Hull runs away with this too so over 7.5 frames looks a fair play to me. Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun 2 points for Barry Hawkins to beat Neil Robertson @2.62 on bet365 Robo is not having the best of his tournaments in China. He played really bad against Murphy and was leaving a lot of chances. On the other hand Barry made a solid performance against Fu and was winning frames even when trailing with more than 50 points. He was scoring well and played well tactically. He has a terrible record against Robo but if the Aussie didn't improve he has the chance ti beat Robertson. Given the odds I think the value is with Barry. 2points for Martin Gould to beat Joe Perry @2.60 on bet 365 Here the situation is different. Both players are playing extremely well and I expect a tight match where the player who is able to creat momenuntum would win. This is a 50-50 match in my opinion and I'm happy to take the odds for Gould to win. Good luck. Sent from my RM-885_im_mea3_269 using Tapatalk

Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Semi final previews: 4pts N.Robertson vs B.Hawkins - Over 9.5 frames 6/5 Paddy Power Both these men have had to grind out wins this week. Hawkins has come through two deciders while Robertson was made to work in a couple of matches too so they’ve both shown their fighting spirits and that they won’t give up this tournament without a scrap. I see no reason why that won’t continue here so I expect to see a pretty lengthy semi final both in times and frames. Both seem evenly matched this week so I fancy more than 9.5 frames here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/robertson-vs-hawkins-betting-first-semi-final-can-be-a-close-one 4pts J.Perry (-1.5 frames) to beat M.Gould 11/10 Skybet The way Joe Perry has played this week I think he will be hard to beat here. Gould is a good scorer but I’m not convinced his safety will stand up over the best of 11 frames. We saw him pull out a couple of decent breaks to see off Maguire but Maguire let that match go in the early stages. I expect Perry to get the chances regularly in this match and win it no worse than 6-4. Re: Wuxi Classic 23-29 Jun Final preview: 4pts N.Robertson (-2.5 frames) to beat J.Perry 5/6 Bet365 A look back through the history books of these two against each other doesn’t make for good reading for Joe Perry. Apart from a solitary thrashing in the Shanghai Masters at a time when Robertson by his own admission never played well in China the record is all on the side of the Australian and none of the matches have been close either. I don’t see this one being all that close either to be honest. Robertson has seen off some top level opposition this week whereas Perry could be a little less battle hardened. Given his record against Robertson I don’t see Perry winning here or keeping this best of 19 final too close.
