Re: Wimbledon 2014 Hi, since I'm newbie to this site and this is my first post I would like to say that the majority of u are doing great work here. Congrats. Now to Wimbeldon... I checked the female draw and I really like the odds for Simona Halep to win her quarter. I can easiliy see her winning her first 3 rounds as her opponents don't look quite scary. Then in the 4th round it is hihgly likely that she will probably play against either Ivanovic/Lisicski or Jankovic assuming they win their matches. I think that this is a good draw for Halep as there are no women with big service or exceptional skills on grass (an exception is last years Lisicki performance but she hasnt had a good season so far and I dont expect her to perform well). Halep is not the greatest on grass too but she has won a title in WTA last year and with this kind of draw I whink she can easily move on with thequarters. Simona Halep to win quarter @2.62 Bet365

:welcome I agree that Simona Halep should be able to win her quarter if she's fit. She retired in Hertogenbosch with some muscle problems, but she should be fine according to the news, so let's hope that you're going to kick things off with a winner!

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back The Field (vs. Djokovic, Murray, Nadal & Federer) for a 6/10 stake at 5.00 with Paddy Power Too big a price in my opinion, especially since all four guys have something to think about right now. Murray looked poor in Queen's, Federer wasn't that special in Halle, Nadal just isn't that great on grass anymore and Djokovic had to withdraw from the Boodles exhibition due to wrist problems, so chances are that we're going to see a surprising winner this time around. At 5.00, this definitely looks worth a punt to me. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/wimbledon-2014-betting-the-top-guns-might-fail-to-win-this-year-s-wimbledon

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back To reach the Quarter-Finals - Lucie Safarova for a 3/10 stake at 7.50 with Paddy Power Back Ekaterina Makarova to win the 3rd quarter for a 2/10 stake at 21.00 with Bet365 The third quarter of the women's draw looks like the most open quarter of them all, so I'm going to go with two small punts on players that can go on a good run if they start really well. They may both lose in the very first round, of course, since consistency has never been among their defining characteristics, but that's a risk that I am willing to accept given the prices. Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back To reach the Quarter-Finals - Ana Ivanovic for a 6/10 stake at 2.75 with Paddy Power Back Ana Ivanovic to win Wimbledon 2014 for a 2/10 stake at 34.00 with Bet365 Given how dominant Ivanovic was in Birmingham, I just can't have her priced above the likes of Kvitova and Azarenka in the outright markets. She has enough class to win the entire thing and she seems to be in good nick as well, so I think that she could go surprisingly far this time around. Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back Caroline Wozniacki to win the 4th quarter for a 3/10 stake at 8.50 with BetVictor Back The Field to win the 4th quarter for a 1/10 stake at 41.00 with Pinnacle Li Na and Petra Kvitova look very overrated to me, so I'll go with these two punts. Caroline Wozniacki looked good in Eastbourne and seems to be playing without any pressure, which can only be a good thing for her right now, while "The Field" covers all of my outside picks (Vesnina, Peng, Wickmayer, Cepelova, Babos) at a price that I am simply not willing to ignore. (The Field excludes Li, Kvitova, Stephens, Wozniacki, Stosur, Williams, Pennetta, Barthel and Zahlavova-Strycova) Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/wimbledon-2014-betting-li-na-and-petra-kvitova-look-rather-overrated-in-the-fourth-quarter-of-the-draw

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back To reach the Quarter-Finals - Feliciano Lopez for a 4/10 stake at 5.00 with Paddy Power Back To reach the Quarter-Finals - Philipp Kohlschreiber for a 3/10 stake at 9.00 with Paddy Power Final pre-tournament bets for me before we all dive into the hundreds of match markets that'll be on offer over the next two weeks. Both Lopez and Kohlschreiber seem to have passable draws and both can also do plenty of damage on grass, so I quite like the look of the odds that are on offer for them to make it through to the QFs. Re: Wimbledon Championships > June 23rd - July 6th ANDREAS HAIDER-MAURER V KYLE EDMUND Surprised that Edmund is a clear favourite here. British wildcards are notoriously woeful at Wimbledon. Edmund is obviously an up and coming young talent but he wont have played a 5 setter in his career and has no Grand Slam experience. Maurer probably wont be as comfortable on grass but he is a top 100 player and won a 1st round match here before. I am going to back Maurer here as I think his experience could prove vital in this match. Haier-Maurer to win 7/4 - BET365

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Stanislas Wawrinka vs Joao Sousa over 35.5 games evens paddy power i think this match will be tight as Wawrinka is not that good on grass he had moments at queens but came up short to someone who can play on grass hisn opponent has had some decent results on grass and gave federer a good match so expect four or five sets Jeremy Chardy vs Daniel Cox over 31.5 games evens paddy power well this match could be over in a hour or could it could go the distance as Chardy is a decent player on grass but his opponent will have the british fans cheering him on so he should win a set Andy Murray vs David Goffin over 30.5 games 10/11 paddy power i think Murray might struggle as he has not much practice on grass and his opponent is a good player who is prety good on this surface so expect a few tight sets Sara Errani vs Caroline Garcia over 21.5 games 8/11 paddy power two players who are not that good on this surface and are evenly matched also Errani did well at the french so she is in some sort of form but her opponent is an upcoming star so it should be close

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back R.Harrison/G.Dimitrov - Over 32.5 games for a 8/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power Grigor Dimitrov has never been the most consistent performer in the Grand Slams and Harrison did well to come through the qualifiers, so this looks like a match that could easily go on for a while. The conditions should allow Harrison to get some cheap games and Dimitrov's Queen's form shouldn't be taken for granted here in my opinion, so this line looks a touch low to me. Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back J.Melzer/J-W.Tsonga - Over 3.5 sets for a 6/10 stake at 1.80 with Paddy Power Back Jurgen Melzer to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga for a 4/10 stake at 4.60 with Pinnacle Melzer looked good in Hertogenbosch, Tsonga looked poor in Queen's, that's the bottom line of everything here. The Frenchman just isn't a player that I could trust at the moment given his recent results and Melzer has always been a very dangerous player, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Austrian make it through to the second round. Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back A.Gonzalez/J.Wang - Over 3.5 sets for a 7/10 stake at 1.83 with Bet365 Back Alejandro Gonzalez to beat Jimmy Wang for a 3/10 stake at 5.00 with Pinnacle Gonzalez is yet to win a grass court match in his career, so this is definitely not a bet for the faint-hearted, but I am willing to have a punt on the Colombian here, since he looked quite fine against Mate Pavic in Hertogenbosch from what I know and since he's definitely the better player of the two overall. Wang is fairly one-dimensional and someone as complex as Gonzalez should be able to outplay him if he gets a decent read on his serve before it's too late to do anything about the result, so chances are that Gonzalez is going to take at least a set off Wang on Monday. Re: Wimbledon 2014 Alejandro Gonzalez to beat Jimmy Wang @ 4.40 Betfair I appreciate that Wang has more grass court experience than Gonzalez, but even so I think he is far too short here. He is basically a Challenger level player, whereas Gonzalez has been making strides on the main tour this year. The Colombian gave a good account of himself in defeat to Pavic last week, and as Pavic has been in good form on grass I think that bodes well ahead of this match. Wang came through qualifying so has the edge in that department, but he is limited as his ranking shows. If the prices were different I might have been interested in him, but as it is he is unbackable in my opinion. Vasek Pospisil to beat Robin Haase @ 2.16 Betfair Pospisil has shown some signs since the grass court season started that he might be coming back into form after a long losing run, and he should have a good chance in this match to pick up another morale-boosting victory. Haase got a good win against Gasquet in Halle, but in truth that had much to do with Gasquet's physical condition. Other than that, his form hasn't been a lot better than that of Pospisil, and as the Canadian has had the greater number of wins on grass in the last couple of weeks I think he has the best chance here. As such, the value is with him in my eyes. Andreas Haider-Maurer to beat Kyle Edmund @ 2.80 Betfair I think it's a little early for Edmund to be the favourite in a match like this against an experienced player like Haider-Maurer, especially as he's not used to the longer format of the game. He does have the advantage of matches on grass ahead of this match, and Haider-Maurer also prefers clay courts above all others and so on the face of it the young Brit should have a very good chance of making the next round. However, his Austrian opponent is capable of getting a win out of nowhere, as he showed when dumping Gulbis out of last year's US Open in five tough sets and so his lack of pedigree on grass courts doesn't concern me all that much. He is good enough to win this match on talent alone, but it could be that he can get the better of Edmund by outlasting him here. Jurgen Melzer to beat Jo-Wilfried Tsonga @ 4.50 Betfair Tsonga seems to be in something of a malaise right now, and so a match in the first round here against a player in good form on grass might not be ideal. Melzer went well last week in reaching the last four, and he had a good run at this tournament last year. Tsonga was flat against Djokovic at the French Open, and after being comprehensively beaten at Queen's by Matosevic I wonder if he is having trouble getting over such a disappointing performance. Even if the Frenchman was at the top of his game I think Melzer could give him a run for his money, and so under the circumstances the Austrian could be worth backing in this match.

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Johanna Larssen to beat Jovana Bojanovski $2.30 @Centerebet I like the swede here. She is a decent enough player to give anyone some trouble and wins her fair share of games. Both players have not played much on grass recently with Larsson very unlucky to lose to Davis in 3 sets in Eastbourne recently. She had 10 break point chances in that match and won over 70% in both first and second serve percentages. Jovanovski is talented and a big hitter and will probably hit more unforced errors then winners IMO. She has barely won any matches over the last few months and thats got to affect her confidence in a grand slam. I fancy Larsson to get the win here in a close one

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Cmon guys! Lets make all closed forums to look useless Lets provide winners! I have 3 selections for today 1. Baghdatis to beat Brown @1.66 2.Dimitrov/Harrison over 32.5 games @1.80 3.Coco Vandeweghe to beat Muguruza @2.10 all offered by bet365 Selections are based on what i noticed from above in some previous matches. I have to point out here that Brown's victory against Nadal shouldent be overestimated. The next day Brown showed weakness as normally he does Dimitrov over is based on my judge that Harrison will gonna hold till late, not excluding at all the possibility to win a set. Coco is a must in my opinion. She is hot, and she is hitting with power and confidence. This bet in not against Muguruza, since i simply dont know her. This bet is favouring Coco, and although i am very well aware what women tennis means, and what big is the danger to risk money on women, here i dare to support Coco in a fearless and confident way= exactly as she plays nowdays- Have a nice day all

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Back Andrey Golubev Total Games - Over 8.5 for a 8/10 stake at 1.90 with Paddy Power Back Andrey Golubev to beat Novak Djokovic for a 1/10 stake at 25.99 with Pinnacle Final bet for me today. Put simply, the 8.5 games line looks rather short to me given that Djokovic has no match practice going into this and maybe also some fitness problems to deal with. Golubev is a bit like Stakhovsky or Rosol in that he can produce some really fearless hitting against the top guns, so I fancy him to cover the 8.5 games line much more often than not. Re: Wimbledon 2014

Anyone fancy Goffin to beat' date=' or at least push, Murray? $1.02 for Murray seems way too short[/quote'] Last year, I would say yes. This year, I have to say no, as Goffin has been rather poor all season long. That said, Murray is rarely to be backed on the big handicaps, so I can't see a bet that I'd feel comfortable taking in that match.

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Guys, I am not a tennis expert, but just realize that Azarenka has almost zero practice since her injury at AO. She just played one game after several months without tennis, which she lost against a mediocre player like Giorgi. Lulic-Baroni now playing her best tennis this season and she is not in her youth, but she still has some good history on grass and maybe backing her to steal a set from Azarenka has some value?!

Re: Wimbledon 2014 2 picks for WIMBLEDON: HAASE-POSPISIL OVER 41 GAMES @ 1.92 on pinnaclesports expect is to be a long match 4-5 long sets probably. two good grass court players with big serves. VESNINA-MAYR 2:0 SETS @ 1.33 on pinnaclesports should be an easy win for Vesnina who is a very good grass court player against clay court specialist Mayr, who is in addition struggles with injuries

Re: Wimbledon 2014 Alex Kuznetsov +5.5(1.75) to beat Fabio Fognini Fognini has shown on a few occasions that he's capable of performing on grass, but he's far from being familiar with this surface, plus his lack of both desire and motivation every now and then makes it very hard for him, so I really wouldn't trust him at this extremely poor price. He's struggling with the form for a very long time now, he didn't impress in Boodles(exhibition tournament) last week and I really must question his motivation for this tournament. Kuznetsov is an up-and-down player, but generally he's still a very good challenger player, with solid serve and at times a very powerful forehand, so I believe he's at least capable of keeping this match tight and covering the handicap. Sergiy Stakhovsky(1.35) to beat Carlos Berlocq Berlocq is a big fighter, though with pretty much no serious weapons to trouble someone like Stakhovsky on grass. Berlocq can be dangerous on grass on his day, especially if the opponents underestimates him, but in the long run this is likely to be a one-sided match IMO. Vasek Pospisil(2.00) to beat Robin Haase Pospisil are enjoying a very poor season, but he's shown a signs of life in the recent weeks and I expect to see him building on this. I find him as a slightly better player than Haase, surely mentally much stronger and at this price he definitely deserves a shot.Haase is also enjoying a very average season and he's really not a player to trust. Sara Errani(1.80) to beat Caroline Garcia Errani's form is poor for most of this year. She did have a couple of decent runs in Rome and French Open, but in general she's nowhere near being at her best. Anyway, I still find her as a solid bet at this price as Garcia has also lost the momentum and doesn't seem to play with the confidence anymore. Errani has got enough experience to use this advantage and she's also well capable of performing on grass, so this seems to be a decent deal for me. Bojana Jovanovski(1.70) to beat Johanna Larsson Both girls are far from being consistent enough, though they both have a style of play perfectly suited to this surface, so I expect a number of great points here. Jovanovski are struggling with the form, but she's a big fighter and I really expect to finally see her being at least close to her top form today. She'll definitely be fired up and being a slightly better player than Larsson she definitely has the edge.

Azarenka is vulnerable, but she wasn't all that bad against Giorgi and Lucic is rather poor overall, so I expect Azarenka to win in straight sets.

Can anyone help please with link for courts that are covered with cameras? Can't find it nowhere
Bet365 have comprehensive coverage with poor quality, for better quality but unstable coverage you'll probably have to go with some of the shady live streaming servers. No good official streams as far as I know, that's always a problem when it comes to Wimbledon.
