Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Jana Cepelova to beat Annika Beck for a 7/10 stake at 2.10 with Bet365 Cepelova hasn't done much since her incredible run in Charleston, but Beck hasn't done anything special as of late either, so I fancy the Slovak here at odds against due to the fact that the H2H record currently stands at 3-0 in her favor. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/cepelova-vs-beck-betting-jana-cepelova-can-start-her-nurnberg-campaign-with-a-solid-victory Back Shahar Peer to beat Karin Knapp for a 7/10 stake at 2.00 with Bet365 Karin Knapp's recent results speak for themselves, so I'll be siding with Shahar Peer at evens here. She's actually managed to win some decent matches recently, so she should have every chance of winning this one given the Italian's current struggles. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Marina Erakovic (+1.5 sets) to beat Angelique Kerber for a 6/10 stake at 2.62 with Pinnacle A bet against Angelique Kerber, who seems to have both form and injury problems at the moment. She even dropped a set against Katerina Vankova, who is ranked outside the top 200, just a few days ago, so chances are that she's going to drop a set today as well. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Jack Sock (-2.5) to beat Kenny de Schepper for a 7/10 stake at 1.90 with Bet365 Not only do I rate Jack Sock as the better player of the two, but I also think that he's going to like this match-up. After all, he tends to do well against players that rely on their serve too much and Kenny de Schepper definitely falls into that category, so I expect the American to win this without much fuss. Re: May 19 - May 25 Peng Shuai to defeat Ashleigh Barty at 1.77 with Pinnacle I am surprised to see Peng is valued only with slight favorite, she should be a level above Barty. It is true Peng did a poor job against Varvara last week, but I search from Chinese media and find she is physically ok, and that her recent low is mainly because the original coach left her, which means she has no coach in the last few weeks! The positive thing is that her new coach is coming, which I think will help her find her rhythm back and continue her journey in coming weeks.

Re: May 19 - May 25 Karin Knapp V.S. Polona Hercog - Karin Knapp (+1.5) sets at 2.07 with Pinnacle Yesterday’s victory is a psychological boost for Knapp. The bookie still puts a lot of weight on Knapp’s recent low, so she is priced as the clear underdog which I disagree. I am not saying Knapp is completely recovering just because of one victory, but Polona Hercog should be playable for Knapp and I believe she should be able to take at least a set.

Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Steve Johnson (+1.5 sets) to beat Dominic Thiem for a 7/10 stake at 1.95 with Unibet A set should be fully within Johnson's range here, as he played well in Bordeaux last week and as Thiem might not enjoy facing his ball-bashing style that much. Moreover, the Austrian hasn't played for a while now, so that might hurt his game somewhat as well. Re: May 19 - May 25 Andrea Petkovic V.S.Vania King -Vania King +5.5 games at 1.92 / Over 19.5 games at 1.990 with Pinnacle I don't think Petkovic deserves to be priced as such a big favorite. She has done nothing special since she won Charleston. Besides, Vania's form is not that bad, so I will not be surprised if Petkovic drop a set here, but I will stay with the safer choices:games handicap & over.

Re: May 19 - May 25 @CzechPunter What about Gilles Simon ? Yesterday I read some rumours about Thiem's ill and I watched Johnson-Thiem match. It was like a WTA.. Break, break and break :) And Johnson destroyed himself.. What do you think about Simon's chance for win?

Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Jurgen Melzer (-3.5) to beat Joao Sousa for a 7/10 stake at 1.80 with Bet365 Melzer was playing well in Rome and he looked alright against Pablo Carreno-Busta as well, so I expect him to win this one easily. Joao Sousa just doesn't seem to be going anywhere at the moment, having lost six matches in a row. @CzechPunter What about Gilles Simon ? Yesterday I read some rumours about Thiem's ill and I watched Johnson-Thiem match. It was like a WTA.. Break' date='break and break :) And Johnson destroyed himself.. What do you think about Simon's chance for win?[/quote'] Back Gilles Simon (-2.5) to beat Dominic Thiem for a 7/10 stake at 2.06 with Pinnacle I simply have to fancy Simon's chances in this match after seeing Thiem struggling against Johnson yesterday. He should have lost that match, but the American somehow managed to miss all of his chances and allowed the Austrian to prevail. Simon looked good in Rome last week and he's much better than Steve Johnson, so I expect him to get the job done against Thiem today. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Dustin Brown (-2.5) to beat Mate Delic for a 7/10 stake at 1.99 with Pinnacle Mate Delic doesn't look particularly dangerous, so I think that there's some value in backing Dustin Brown on the handicap line here. He's certainly good enough to win this easily and his win over Yen-hsun Lu looked pretty good as well, so this bet looks worth taking to me. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back J.Melzer/J.Vesely - Over 22.5 games for a 7/10 stake at 1.88 with Pinnacle The surface seems to suit both players and both can also serve really well, so I expect to see a superb contest between a young talent and a battle-hardened veteran here. There doesn't seem to be a big difference between the two quality-wise right now, so the overs look like the most logical choice. http://www.punterslounge.com/melzer-vs-vesely-betting-a-long-match-might-be-on-the-cards-for-jurgen-melzer-and-jiri-vesely

Re: May 19 - May 25 Back K.Pliskova/A.Kerber - Over 19.5 games for a 7/10 stake at 1.87 with Pinnacle Karolina Pliskova is certainly capable of troubling virtually anyone and Kerber hasn't been playing her best tennis for quite some time now, so the overs should get covered here more often than not in my opinion, especially since the Nurnberg conditions don't seem to be incredibly slow, which should allow the Czech to profit from her serve a little bit. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Potito Starace to beat Guido Andreozzi for a 7/10 stake at 1.72 with Pinnacle Starace's best days might already be a thing of the past, but he should still have a decent edge over someone like Guido Andreozzi. The young Argentinian is still spending most of his time in the South American challengers, after all - and the problem is that he hasn't been that successful in them recently. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Karin Knapp (+3 games) to beat Caroline Garcia at evens with MarathonBet Knapp surprised me with two confident wins against Peer and Hercog, but now I see every chance that she will continue her good run over here in Nürnberg. Even if Garcia produced some very good tennis recently, her last couple of matches were all long 3 setters. I think she might be a bit tired at this point, maybe it would be wise for her to take a break and prepare for the French Open.

Re: May 19 - May 25 Gulbis 1/4 to beat Tursunov tick it off! Thought he'd struggle v Klizan, but if he wins this he'll be top 16 intime for the French which should give Ernest a great chance of an easier passage to 4th round. He's winning matches he'd have lost last year now.

Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Ayumi Morita to beat Grace Min for a 6/10 stake at 2.63 with Pinnacle Not sure what these odds are all about, as I'd still rate Ayumi Morita as the better player of the two. Her first round win showed that she should be just fine fitness-wise and, if that is indeed correct, she should have every chance of beating the American today. Re: May 19 - May 25 Back Tereza Smitkova to beat Danka Kovinic for a 5/10 stake at 4.00 with Bet365 Pure value I'd say, as I find it hard to believe that there's a massive gap between the two quality-wise. Smitkova has already beaten Duval and Medina Garrigues here, so she seems to be playing quite well at the moment - and yes, she has indeed beaten Kovinic before. Re: May 19 - May 25 Hey folks, What do you think about Vesely's and Haider-Maurer's chances to win today? The former is playing some excellent tennis at the moment, while I consider the latter a better player than Prodon (who played a long match yesterday).
