Back Su-Wei Hsieh to win WTA Kuala Lumpur for a 1/10 stake at 51.00 with Bet365 Back Donna Vekic to win WTA Kuala Lumpur for a 1/10 stake at 12.00 with BetVictor The big names have a very poor record when it comes to the tournament in Kuala Lumpur, so I'll be siding with two of the underdogs next week. Su-Wei Hsieh is still good enough to win a small tournament and she should like the conditions more than most, while Donna Vekic has plenty of talent and a very decent record in the smaller events, so I believe that they're worth a punt at these prices. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Novak Djokovic to win ATP Monte Carlo for a 6/10 stake at 2.87 with Paddy Power I am sure that Rafael Nadal will remain in the spotlight for months to come, but Novak Djokovic looks like the man to beat at the moment and I can definitely see him winning in Monte Carlo for the second time in a row, even though his draw does look rather tough in all honesty. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Grigor Dimitrov to win the 1st quarter for a 1/10 stake at 13.00 with BetVictor The Bulgarian played very well in Monte Carlo last year and he's certainly improved since then, so perhaps he could be the man to upset both David Ferrer and Rafael Nadal this year. It's a long shot, of course, but the two Spaniards look vulnerable at the moment and Dimitrov has what it takes to take advantage of that. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/atp-monte-carlo-betting-grigor-dimitrov-can-build-on-his-2013-run-in-monte-carlo Back Tommy Robredo to win the 2nd quarter for a 1/10 stake at 17.00 with BetVictor Tommy Robredo should like the Monte Carlo conditions and he is still good enough to beat virtually anyone on clay, so I think that he's worth a small punt at such a big price. The toughest possible route seems to be Goffin-Benneteau-Raonic-Wawrinka - and that looks pretty acceptable as far as I am concerned. Re: April 14 - April 20 Albert Montanes to beat Benoit Paire @ 2.10 Betfair There are a few reasons why I think Montanes could be worth backing here. Firstly, I think it's possible the prices have been skewed too far in favour of Paire because he beat the Spaniard last week in Casablanca. It took Paire three sets though, and it was his first tournament since the Australian Open so there is a chance he could still be slightly rusty. Montanes also qualified for this tournament and looked in good touch, so I think he can get quick revenge over Paire and make the next round.

Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Alexandra Krunic (+1.5 sets) to beat Karolina Pliskova for a 5/10 stake at 2.55 with Pinnacle I like the look of Alexandra Krunic on the set handicap here. She is talented enough to do some damage even against the stronger players, while Karolina Pliskova isn't the most consistent performer around and tends to give something away even in matches that she should be winning very comfortably. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Chardy/Simon to beat Anderson/Melzer for a 7/10 stake at 1.85 with Bwin Fancy Jeremy Chardy and Gilles Simon to take this, as they have actually played together before. Kevin Anderson looked dreadful in Casablanca and Jurgen Melzer has been away from competitive tennis from quite some time now, so their chances don't look all that good really. The two might actually be happy enough with just getting some real practice on the courts ahead of their singles matches, so I am more than happy to side with the French duo here. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Ana Vrljic to beat Ying-Ying Duan for a 5/10 stake at 3.01 with Pinnacle One small punt in Kuala Lumpur for me on Tuesday. Basically, Ana Vrljic was arguably the most impressive player in the qualifying section of the tournament, so I think that there's some value in backing her against Ying-Ying Duan at such a big price, as the Chinese has done very little since the Australian Open. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Andreas Seppi to beat Mikhail Youzhny for a 7/10 stake at 1.74 with Pinnacle The H2H record is pretty much the only thing that speaks in Youzhny's favor here, so I'll be backing the Italian to finally get that elusive victory against the Russian on Tuesday. He looked quite alright in the Davis Cup, after all, while there are still plenty of question marks over Youzhny's form and fitness at the moment. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Paul-Henri Mathieu to beat Nicolas Almagro for a 5/10 stake at 3.40 with Bet365 Nicolas Almagro will be disappointed by his performance on Sunday, so the transfer to the slow European clay courts might cause him some problems, especially since that defeat is probably still going to be in the back of his mind. Paul-Henri Mathieu, on the other hand, should be pretty confident after making it through the qualifiers, so a big upset could indeed be on the cards in this match. Re: April 14 - April 20 I fancy Cilic vs Verdasco. Quick turnaround for the Houston champ and he complained of leg pain after the final. Cilic been strong all year, not sure if I will do handicap it just straight win as a Verdasco retirement after the first set is plausible.

Re: April 14 - April 20 ATP MONTE CARLO MASTERS 1000 TIP: Philipp KOHLSCHREIBER +3.5 HANDICAP GAMES against Jo-Wilfried TSONGA @ $1.72 on Bet365 STAKE: 9 / 10 TIP: Philipp KOHLSCHREIBER to beat Jo-Wilfried TSONGA @ $2.83 on Sportsbet STAKE: 3.5 / 10 REASON: Kohlschreiber takes on Tsonga in the 2nd round of Monte Carlo Masters. Due to Tsonga's high seed he skipped round 1. Whereas Kohlschreiber defeated Bolelli in straight sets 6-3 6-4 without giving up a break point. When Kohlschreiber is in this kind of form, he is very difficult to beat. Tsonga has had a very inconsistent year and his last few fews have been somewhat poor for his standards. We feel Kohlschreiber has what it takes to compete, cover the line. We also feel he has a great chance on causing the upset in what is an excellent value bet.

Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Andreas Seppi to beat Pablo Andujar for a 7/10 stake at 1.83 with Pinnacle Fancy Seppi to get the job done once again, as he looked in good touch against Youzhny on Tuesday. Pablo Andujar, on the other hand, was rather shaky in his opening match against Roger-Vasselin. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Yen-hsun Lu (+4.5) to beat Milos Raonic for a 6/10 stake at 1.85 with Unibet Back Yen-hsun Lu to beat Milos Raonic for a 2/10 stake at 5.25 with Unibet Milos Raonic is bound to be rather vulnerable during the European clay court swing and even Yen-hsun Lu might be able to beat him really. The conditions in Monte Carlo are simply way too slow for Raonic to be able to play his best tennis. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Nicolas Mahut to beat Nicolas Almagro for a 3/10 stake at 6.55 with Pinnacle Willing to have a small punt at such a massive price, as I just can't see Almagro enjoying this particular match-up too much - and fatigue might start to set in for him as well, even though he looked reasonably well on Tuesday. I can still remember how he lost against Jurgen Melzer here in very similar circumstances last year, so I'm going to give this a shot at a price this big. Re: April 14 - April 20 Lukas Rosol to beat Michael Llodra @ 2.10 Betfair Fair play to Llodra for making it through qualifying and the first round here, but for me Rosol is the better player on clay and so I'm happy to side with him at this price. On the face of it Llodra's win over Janowicz in his last match looks impressive, but I'm not sure about the giant Pole on clay and so I can't give Llodra as much credit for the win as perhaps others might. Rosol dealt with Donskoy fairly easily in his last match, and I think he will do for Llodra as well.

Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Tommy Robredo to beat Milos Raonic for a 8/10 stake at 1.72 with Bet365 Fancy Robredo here, I really do. Milos Raonic just doesn't have the right set of skills for the Monte Carlo conditions, so I expect Robredo to find a way to beat him at the end of the day. He looked good enough against David Goffin and Julien Benneteau, after all. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Stanislas Wawrinka (-4) to beat Nicolas Almagro for a 7/10 stake at 2.03 with Pinnacle Wawrinka looked outstanding against Cilic yesterday, while Almagro struggled to make it past Nicolas Mahut, so an easy victory for the world's number three could be on the cards here. There's just nothing that would speak in the Spaniard's favor at the moment. Re: April 14 - April 20 Meh. :( Back Magda Linette to beat Shuai Zhang for a 7/10 stake at 3.62 with Pinnacle Magda Linette has dropped just six games so far in this tournament, while Shuai Zhang has needed two three-setter over the very same stretch. Good price on the Pole then in my opinion. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/linette-vs-zhang-betting-magda-linette-to-end-zhang-s-run-in-kuala-lumpur

Re: April 14 - April 20

Meh. :(
You were a bit unlucky today I think. Seppi was always speculative but Wawrinka had a very good chance against Almagro - maybe that was why the Spaniard withdrew.

Re: April 14 - April 20 Back Zarina Diyas to beat Dominika Cibulkova for a 3/10 stake at 8.01 with Pinnacle Speculative, but the price is just way too big in my opinion, especially given the poor record the big names have as far as this tournament is concerned. Moreover, Zarina Diyas is a very talented player that is bound to make a big breakthrough at some point, so I can definitely see her upsetting the world's number ten on Friday. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back David Ferrer to beat Rafael Nadal for a 3/10 stake at 8.36 with Pinnacle Nadal is obviously going to win this more often than not, but 8.36 for Ferrer? Yep, he was a bit off back in Australia, but he's back to full flow nowadays and he looked good enough against Dimitrov yesterday, so I am willing to have a small punt on him at such a massive price. Re: April 14 - April 20 Back David Ferrer to beat Stanislas Wawrinka for a 8/10 stake at 1.80 with Unibet It's easy to like David Ferrer here - and I do indeed think that he's going to get the job done on Saturday, especially after seeing his superb performance against Rafael Nadal on Friday. Wawrinka is yet to be tested in Monte Carlo - and the first test is quite likely to also be the last one.
