Good shout, starnberg. Biggleswade have a home game on Thursday night but even so the prices are generous - 11/10 at Bet365, and 2.05 at Betway (BetVics were going 6/5 for a short time). Banbury can count on a single point in 12 games, and conceding an average of around four per game in that time. It's a mess up there. The improvement from Totton will have given the management something to think about - the 'we're safe, anyway' message looks even more smugly complaisant than it did a few weeks ago. But they haven't got the personnel to do much about it.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 You have Skrill North listed as Skrill South btw! Guiseley and North Ferriby double pays evens with Bet Victor. Guiseley will be looking for 3 points to ensure they remain in the play off places, and should have more than enough quality to see off Gainsborough Trinity, who haven't won in their previous 7 league games. North Ferriby will be looking to move to the top of the league and having only lost once in their previous 10 matches, are in good form. Stalybridge Celtic on the other hand have only won one game in their last 10 league games and have the worst home record in the league. Staines to beat Whitehawk (3/4 with BV) Staines are in top form, and are unbeaten in 7 league matches. They have also only lost two home matches all season. Only thing casting a doubt about this is Staines only have a very slim hope of reaching the play offs, whereas Whitehawk are involved in a relegation scrap. Witton Albion to beat Frickley Athletic (17/20) Witton Albion have been playing well recently, and won at the weekend against Matlock. Frickley have lost 3 of their last 4 league matches, and also have only won 3 matches away from home all season

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10

What's happening at skelmersdale ships? Title contenders a few weeks ago but rubbish now going on recent results' date='worksop a decent bet??[/quote'] I think of the top five sides they've the shallowest squad and have gone way beyond expectations, so the downturn in form is less surprising than it might be. They have been defensively open for a while now and Worksop should be able to exploit that, but as we saw with Worksop on Saturday they are vulnerable to a side that moves the ball quickly in forward areas and when Skem are on their game they do that. Worksop are favourites but as jack says there isn't a great deal in the price.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10

Looks like 365 have pulled the plug on the Banbury game.
Betway and BetVics are still offering 4/5 and Bwin go 11/13. I'd make Biggleswade slightly bigger favourites than that, though with a Thursday game to come they may rest bodies and the fluff has gone out of the price now.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 A possible draw here? Worcester - Barrow @3.50 Bet365 Barrow haw allready secured a new season and at the same time, they are the team which have played draw most times. Im not happy with the odds on Worcester, they can live a draw here.

Problems in North Ferriby, are we up for a surprise? Stalybridge Celtic fighting for their life's! http://www.northferribyunited.com/stalybridge-celtic-v-nfu-%28sn%29-1060
As Gamblergb points out, Ferriby have been light for a few weeks now - at Workington, particularly, it showed. They are paying the price for not strengthening properly in the window, with most of their money going on ground improvements. Personally, I think there is value in Staly as they have been playing okay without being able to put games to bed - that should be the reason for backing them.

Its all about value, looks like clear value here on Staly!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Ships and addpea, how bad are Tamworth these days? They look as bad as Hyde on recent form and they face the wrath of Luton tomorrow. I'm considering backing Luton on the on the handicaps- I know they have taken their eye off the ball recently but a home game against second from bottom should be a great way to finish off the season in style? If I've done my sums correctly, a win tomorrow would ensure they are champions unless they lose their four remaining games and Cambridge pull off a blinder...

Since Luton all but wrapped up the title they haven't really impressed at all. I can see them finally getting the result, but another 1 or 2-0 wouldn't surprise me rather than a load of goals.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10

Recon Luton to score between 4-6 goals tomorrow night. hcp handicap -2' date='5 on home side is a good bet! We might put it up a bit later.[/quote'] But what are you basing that on exactly? Luton have only scored more than 2 goals once in their last 8 games. I know Tamworth let 5 in on Saturday but Luton haven't really convinced of late. I thought they might put a few past Aldershot on Saturday but they didn't.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 I'm not saying it won't happen, but nothing suggests it should happen other than Tamworth's 5-0 defeat at the weekend. Saturday aside, Tamworth's defence hasn't been too bad of late and they have only conceded more than 2 goals twice in their last 9 league games.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Luton - Tamworth Conference Premier England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Luton OVER 3,5 GOALS Odds: 4,00 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: William Hill Luton obviously the best team in the division, and will win it without any problem even though they have had a couple of not s good results lately. Now they play a Tamworth in free-fall and basically needs to win this game to have a chance to stay up. How a desperate, and young Tamworth team still with many injuries will get something out of this game is hard to see. Their defence is just not good enough, silly mistakes and when they play better teams they will be punished. Luton scored 4 goals away and we recon them to score plenty at home to. Over 3,5 goals on Luton here is a bet we like! 5-0/5-1?

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Welling - Hereford Conference Premier England Tuesday 8/4 20:45 Prediction: Welling hcp -1 Odds: 3,25 Stake: 3/10 units Bookmaker: Ladbrokes Hereford winless in the last 12. Lost 4 straight games. Players have not been paid in 8 weeks, and rumours speaking about turbulance around the club, dressing room. Lost their last game at home to Woking 0-2, but could have been a much bigger victory for Woking as they were clearly the better side. Now Hereford away to Welling, a Welling who is quite ok. Always a tough nut to crack away, how motivated are the Hereford players? We are quite confident Welling will win but thinks it's better value in the hcp -1 odds. Might be worth looking at even -2 etc also. Hereford in freefall at the moment. Players not motivated.

Aldershot were hanging on for dear life all day. Not sure when we won the title in your eyes but we've won four of our last five matches with the only one we didn't win being at Halifax where near enough nobody has won this season. Even then anyone who was there would tell you that as crap as we were that day we had a clear penalty shout turned down which if it was given would've seen Ainge sent off and us having 30 minutes at 10 men with the score most likely at 1-1. Even so if four wins out of five isn't impressive you strike a pretty hard bargain :lol.

Have been looking for reasons not to bet against Hereford tomorrow and can't really find any. They have been saved again today http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26921480 But as you say, the players and staff still aren't being paid it seems. 12 games without a win and only three goals scored in that spell. Welling have lost four of their last eight, but three of those were against the form teams of Halifax, Braintree and Cambridge. Apart from that, they've been in good form for a couple of months now. My only worry is motivation as Welling have nothing to play for in theory, and Hereford should be fighting. So just one for a small stakes acca for me. The rest of conference matches are complicated by the two fixtures on Thursday. I would have fancied form team Woking at Grimsby, as the latter have a poor home record for such a highly placed club. But Woking are playing Cambridge on Thursday so might have their eye on that one? Hmm, still might have a little bet on them as 3.80 seems very high As for Luton, our indifferent recent form has coincided with the loss of Luke Gutteridge, who has been badly missed. We also looked very tired on Saturday against Aldershot. Seems to be the way in the Conference recently that a team builds an unbridgeable lead at the top, and then grinds out the results in the last quarter. Tamworth have to attack, which Luton should be able to exploit more than in recent games against relegation opposition. I could see it being 3-0 or more to Luton, but I'm not as brave as you on this one!

Come on Kev you have been struggling to win games, even the Chester one when you won 3-0 was fortunate from what I have read. I thought you had every chance of putting a few in against Aldershot, but you only got one. Granted I am yet to read the report but on the face of it disappointing. No doubt you will win tomorrow and if you get an early one then you could score a hatful, but if that doesn't come then the big scores Boggen thinks will happen won't.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 We could easily have had 4 or 5 on Saturday and if we had a linesman who knew what he was doing we would've scored early and then it would've been a 4 or 5 job. Just because we've taken a while to score in the last two games doesn't mean we've been 'lucky' as we were quoted in midweek or 'disappointing' as we appear to have been now. If we keep doing what we've been doing someone will take a proper beating soon. It might be tomorrow night, it might be Saturday who knows but someone is getting one. Why bother with reports of a game in someone else's eyes when highlights are out there for you to watch with your own eyes?

Don't you have to pay for your highlights though? Also as much as I accept it would be beneficial to watch highlights of all Skrill Premier games, I really do not have the time to do that and thus reports are the next best thing. You might give Tamworth a hiding tonight but not sure it screams of value.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Apr 7-10 Can Braintree get back on track today? I think they still believe they can get to the playoff zone where as Macclesfield seem to have nothing to play for and are on a bad run of 3 losses in the last game + have lost the last 5 away games. Just above evens seems like a bit of value to me - opinions? I also think Alfreton should have too much at home against struggling Aldershot. Even they didn't lose hard to Luton at the weekend, it sounds like Aldershot were pretty bad that day and am not sure what performance they will have for today. I was also wondering which motivation level should be higher - the one to get the playoff zone or the one to survive?
