Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th Oke, seriously... Am I dreaming or what???? Atalanta 1.80 at home against sassuolo? Wtf, one of the worst teams away against such a strong home side and in the form of their lifes.. This has to be a bookie trap or what??? These odds are hugeeeee

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th I'm with you on that one senk, it seems like an incredible price. 1.6 is more how I was thinking for this one. Most teams have had a full week of rest since playing 3 games in 7 days. This rest would be much needed for teams like Atalanta as the strength beyond their XI is poor. That alleviates one of my concerns as I don't think fatigue will be a huge factor. The home side should also be motivated for this encounter as they are very much in a battle for the EL places. Sassuolo, on paper, have the greater motivational drive of avoiding relegation. However, they have been down at the bottom all season and may not even believe that they can avoid the drop. In terms of classical bookies trap, I can't see anything that alarms me. Stendardo is suspended and Moralez is probably going to miss out again. Lucchini is an able deputy for the former and De Luca has played well since getting his chance due to the latter's injury. This Atalanta team are currently setting a new club record with every win they get on this run, and will be feeling great. Sassuolo are poor travellers and, slightly unnervingly, I can't see why we should be scared of them in this one. Atalanta - 1.80 - 6 points - Bet365 This price will definitely move in over the next few days.

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th Yeah, I remember the same things crossed my mind 2 werks ago when they faced livorno at home. I never truated this league that much when such teams as atalanta are huge favorites to win at home but they did well that game and delivered us great profit. Now, they will even face a weaker side and I can't see why atalanta would give this game away.. Only 3 points from Inter for a european spot what would be a huge achievement for the club! All seasons are coming to an end And I really like to back home teams who are still fighting for something. Some teams might be really tired after such a long season and it's been a while for Sassuolo to act on this stage. They have to give all ever single game and another travel to Atalanta surely won't be easy. Stendardo is a miss but one weaker spot in the team won't affect their winning chances that much. I took them around 1.83 yesterday for some medium stakes. I'm pretty confident they will win this game, only berrardi with a magic move could ruin things here but he already had his moments this season. :-) I will add one more bet and that is Atalanta over 1.5 team goals. I really think this is a banker with their current form. This bet is a winner for a long time now and I just can't see Sassuolo's defense end this streak! Goodluck guys.

:lol I've been looking at all the angles where you can get burned here and so far there's nothing big that would suggest Atalanta won't win. They have won 5 of their last 6 at home scoring 11 and conceding 5. But 4 of those 5 were conceded in the 0-4 home loss to Parma which is the anomaly in this string of wins. Sassuolo have lost 5 of their 6 away scoring only 3 times while conceding 10 in the process. You can argue that Sassuolo are fighting for survival but really after losing their last 3 to Udinese away, then Sampdoria at home and lastly to Roma you'd have to think that it would have been a psychological hammer blow to them and the belief and will they need would have been lost over the last 3 matches. Probably the players are thinking more of taking care of themselves for next season rather than thinking about the team... I will take the AH +0 in a double with something just to be safe... Good Luck :ok

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th I take Verona against Chievo This is a local derby, Verona loss the 1st leg and now all supporters and players want to win Odd are absurde, only because Chievo is fighting for relegation Chievo president, Campedelli, increase a lot the prices for the tickets in order to earn money from this match, and Verona supporters (one the hottest in Italy) don't react well Good bet also Atalanta, @1.85 against Sassulo Atalanta believe to EL qualification and they will play for this Rome in great form, should win against Cagliari but I await the live for this one, Fiorentina and Lazio can take an home win but odds are too low for a pre-match bet Some points also to Catania if they fail to win sunday relegation will be quite sure, and Torino has nothinhg to ask from this match Verona @3.4 stk 4 Catania @2.72 stk 2 Atalanta @1.85 stk 3.5

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th Inter Milan v Bologna - Bologna AH +1 - 13/10 Bet365 To put it bluntly, Inter cannot be trusted at present and I'll look to oppose them here. At this moment and time Inter do not merit short odds on against any side in Serie A. Yes they have talent and ought to beat Bologna but they're not showing in on the field. One positive is they are edging towards a fit squad which will be a relief for Mazzarri. They should turn the corner soon, it may be here, but I don't know if they can smash a side at present. Bologna travel without Della Rocca, but he's the only absentee. Their form isn't great though there's no pressure on them here and they won this tie last season 1-0. They sit only one point above relegation so they are fighting and won't be scared of Inter.

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th I do worry slightly about Atalanta. After breaking their club record of 6 straight wins they've spent the week patting themselves on the back, and they could easily let their concentration slip against a side they're expected to beat. However as stated above Sassuolo are pretty terrible. Their only away win was against Sampdoria, who played with ten men for 40mins. And Sassuolo still needed an 89th minute winner. I agree the 1.83 Atalanta is too big. Comparing this fixture to a similar one in the Premiership, Southampton v Cardiff for example - Saints are 1.5, and comparing Sassuolo to Cardiff is being very generous! I'm also backing Napoli. They were superb against a tired Juventus last weekend in Naples, and now they're out of the Europa League, the focus now is on catching Roma in second. Parma actually beat Napoli 1-0 in November. However, that was in the middle of a busy run of games for Napoli that included Juventus away, and Dortmund away in the Champions League (both of which they lost), so it's fair to say their focus was elsewhere. The shoe is on the other foot now. This is Parma's 5th game in 14 days. They've lost 3 of those, and drew the other. Whilst their squad is huge, it lacks quality. Players have been complaining of fatigue this week in the papers. Amauri, their 3rd top scorer this season is suspended. Lucarelli, their first choice CB, who has also chipped-in with 4 goals, is also suspended. And I've just read that Cassano - their top scorer and also joint-top with assists - is now a huge doubt. These are hammer blows for Parma. Benitez was able to give his squad a couple of days off after beating Juve. Napoli are buzzing right now, and I expect one of the best attacks in the league to take advantage of a tired Parma. Napoli are 2.4.

These odds are hugeeeee[/quote'] Welcome to Serie A :lol Personally I hate to bet on the teams who don't have any realistic targets the teams like Napoli (They will never get any chance for 2nd spot), Fiorentina, Atalanta (I love when they play at home!!), Cagliari, Inter.. I think that explains why the quality teams like Fiorentina and Napoli are always getting inconsistent results.

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th Francesco Guidolin has one big problem in front of this match. The captain Antonio Di Natale will be sidelined due to a knee injury. He played the full 90 minutes against Catania last week and even scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win, but it was revealed after the match that he had suffered a strained ligament in his right knee. "The medicals undergone by Udinese captain Antonio Di Natale earlier today have underlined the strain to the medial collateral ligament of the right knee. The extent of the injury will be considered in the next few days," was announced on the club official website. Di Natale leads the club with 11 goals in Serie A this season, and he has scored 199 goals in 383 games for Udinese since joining the team in 2004. His absence is a huge problem for Guidolin, he is simply irreplaceable.

Maybe they are. But when I read articles like this I wonder. Fair play to them they've been on a great run. But all I'm saying is it's been very unexpected, and could go to their heads a little bit. http://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Atalanta/29-03-2014/atalanta-500-casello-bergamo-accogliere-squadra-80341317275.shtml

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th I will try to play tonight at Catania. Both teams are in a weaker form, so it will not be decisive for the outcome of the match. The hosts need to be more determined, because their situation is difficult. Recent their home games were not bad, they created opportunities for a goal. Now play the best team, some players back than in recent games. The hosts are always dangerous at home and in Catania is not easy to play. Guests are hard to beat but I'm counting on greater determination and desire to win the home side. Catania @ 2,55 in my local 2/10 In other game i put on Fiorentina. GL

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th I saw Atalanta against Udinese and Inter and they were impressive. You can't win every bet though and I would take Atalanta at home to beat Sassuolo in this form every single time at those odds. It's all about whether the bet would win in the long run and I can't see how in this case the bet wouldn't.

Re: Serie A > April 5th - 7th Ballotelli got seperated from the group this morning cause he has the flu since yesterday evening. Not sure if he will start tonight, they rate him as doubtful. Genoa might be worth a shot here or +0.5! At home against Milan you always play for pride imo! Any opinions?
