Re: Boxing 15-16 March can't wait for the Mitchell-Vasquez hopefully it'll get confirmed this week, gutted I can't go to that night at Wembley would be immense! Brook really is looking the real deal lately aswel I really hope he can get that belt he fully deserves it. I thought Bellew could have won more convincingly had he actually hit with more right hands rather than over-using the jab, he was a bit lucky with the low blow aswel, I reckon he would have been ko'd had he not got the break. Didn't fancy a punt on this tonight far too many one sided fights for my liking.

As a West Ham fan and fellow London/Essex boy, I'd be pulling for Mitchell all the way. Unfortunately though, I think Vasquez is in a different class to him. Vasquez is similar to Mayweather in that he's a fighter you appreciate rather than enjoy watching. Pretty much the Wlad of the division. Mundanely efficient. Decision for Vasquez, but I'd have to think twice about doing UD due to the home crowd factor. Vasquez would have to do a job similar to what Crawford did to Burns to take that factor out of it. Good solid performance from Kelly. Had him rounds 4-6 at a rather skinny 6/4, and it went to 3\10 in play!. Still, the other man fought valiantly, and the corner did what the ref really should have done. Apart from a slight wobble in the seventh (What would have happened without the low blow?) pretty much the perfect fight from Bellew. 12th round KO, good workout against a man who was perfect fit for his introduction to Cruiserweight. Solid, professional but on the wain. Way too soon for him to go in with Huck though. Danny Garcia was very lucky. Decidedly under par. May well have lost without the home crowd/judge factor. My big stakes bet was Juan Manuel Lopez by KO at 3/1, so that came in lovely and early. Thought I posted it on here.. Good weekend all in all.
