Re: Super League 2014 - Round 3 Thursday preview: 3pts St Helens (-10) to beat Salford Evs Stan James Salford have made plenty of headlines in the close season but I have my doubts over what they’ve beaten so far this season and I sense they might need a few more weeks to find their best form. St Helens have got up and running quickly and they look to be right where they need to be and I think they have the quality in attack and the strength in defence to come through this one comfortably. Re: Super League 2014 - Round 3 Friday previews: 3pts Leeds (-10) to beat Catalans 10/11 Betfred Usually I wouldn’t go anywhere near an away side to cover a double figure handicap in France but I think Leeds could well do it here. Catalans are missing a lot of key players whereas if Sinfield is fit to play Leeds are at full strength. Leeds are on fire at the minute and with Catalans shipping points at a large rate I’ll chance the Rhinos to win by two scores here. Perhaps we shouldn’t be too surprised they are going well because they finished last season strongly and even though Rangi Chase has left they still have enough quality. Hull KR are still finding themselves without Michael Dobson but they showed good character last week and will need all of that in this match too. I just fancy a Castleford who are full of confidence.
