They have hit the ground running in each of the last two seasons and I see no reason why that won’t be the case again here. Wigan will be fine this season but they may take a week or two to gel and you have to feel they’ll already be targeting the World Club Challenge. Their record without Tomkins last season was pretty ordinary which is another concern and sways me to Huddersfield with the start here. Had his best scoring season last year and I can see the Giants pushing on from last year to have another strong year with Ferres hitting double figures again.
