Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st

Derby County are flying high with 6 straight wins and only 1 lost from 10 games under McLaren. Can they maintain their straight win against Doncaster I wonder? Any opinion will be appreciated since I don't bet on Championship often. :unsure
Well at 1/2 you'd be a damn fool man to bet on Derby in that game, awful value. Not saying that Derby can't keep the run going, they are playing great at the momment but price is simply awful. Doncaster on a bit of a slump at the momment, they pick up decent results here and there but are a hugely unpredictable side imo. Apparently a Forest fan phoned into 606 the other night and said with McClaren at the helm, Derby would be in the champions league within 4 years. I disagree.

Wednesday V Wigan draw @ 3.4 - bet365. Both to score = yes @ 1.80 - bet365. This has got draw written all over it for me. Wigan have struggled for goals this season, especially away from home but with four scored in their last two games they'll fancy their chances of scoring here. Its also an area Use Rosler has identified and been working on. Both sides have recently sacked their managers and Wednesday should feel confident after their smash and grab win over Watford. Lots to play for as Wednesday need points to get out of the relegation zone and Wigan are still after promotion through the playoffs. Wednesday though haven't kept a clean sheet all season and both sides have their fair share of injuries. Wigan for one will be making changes from the team that beat Bolton.

I think you will find that we won that "smash and grab" game over Watford to Nil. ;)

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st I agree with Jase... Sheff Wed v Wigan: Both Teams to Score @ 1.80 Bet365 (5 Points) Wednesday have only kept 1 clean sheet all season and that was in their last match against an under performing Watford. They don't find it as difficult getting on the score sheet though and at home with an in form Wickham, they should do so tonight. Wigan have vastly under performed this season but with a new manager in place they could finally start to climb the table. They have plenty of quality in the side and having put 3 past Bolton on Sunday I expect them to push on. I quite fancy them to win tonight but as I expected a lower price on the BTTS market, I'm happy to stick to this.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st Burnley v Blackpool @ 1.90 Bet365 (4 Points) Ive been opposing Burnley a bit lately and their form has stuttered slightly but I think they represent a good bet in this match. Dyche has said they are at full strength bar long term injuries and that is the complete opposite of Blackpool who have numerous absentees through injury and suspension with Isaiah Osbourne the latest to be ruled out. Fuller serves the last game of his suspension and I think he's a big loss for them. They've lost their last three on the bounce and at a fair price I think high flying Burnley will make it four. Personally I wouldn't make the Clarets any higher than 1.83.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st Milwall +0 (AH) v Middlesbrough @ 2.05 @ Bet365 (5 Points) I just really don't know how Boro have been made favourites for this one? If anyone wants to enlighten me I'm all ears! Boro sit one place below Milwall in the table yet are being priced up as favourites even thou they are the away side. On top of that, their away form is shocking. It's 10 games since they won on the road and that's going back to the 10th of August in what is their only away victory! Milwall on the other hand have a decent home record and you've got to go back 8 games ago at home to their last defeat which was against a rampant Derby. The likes of Forest, QPR and Wigan have all since gone to the Den and failed to pick up 3 points. The price here simply looks wrong and I would make Milwall much lower and see them on a -0.25 line.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st 3pts QPR to beat Leicester 6/5 William Hill QPR go into this match in better form of the two and they will be the fresher of the two as well which has to count for something. They have quality in the areas you need quality and their experienced players will know now is the time to put their foot on the gas with a busy period approaching. I wouldn’t say Leicester are without a chance in this match but the way QPR are defending I think they are likely to justify favouritism. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/qpr-vs-leicester-betting-qpr-can-claim-a-big-three-points-in-the-lunchtime-kick-off 4pts Millwall vs Middlesbrough - Both teams to score 4/5 Unibet Recent Millwall matches have been high scoring and I see no reason why this will be any different. Middlesbrough have players who can find the back of the net but they’re anything but watertight while Millwall ship goals at a similar rate to the amount they score so this is set up for an open, high scoring game and a game which can see both find the back of the net before the result is decided. Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st Watford dnb 2,16 10/10 over 2,5 1,89 10/10 - Qpr -0,5 2,12 4/10 - Birmingham over 2,5 1,99 7/10 - Brighton -0,5 1,81 6/10 - Milwall over 2,5 2,04 6/10 Today there are no more excuses for Watford following the dismissal of Zola, if Sannino came to England because he has been assured by the Italian players that the team still has a chance to fight for the play-offs, true that Ipswich is in the form but today we will see another Watford very determined and I also think that there's the reti.Leicester last few games I did not like and defeats against Sheffield and Brighton outside the home are not a good sign, I think it is difficult for them to take away points from this field . Located in Birmingham see open game where a goal can get the same goes for the race Milwall, while I think Brighton today has many chances to win against a Hudd in the last two games has not convinced me.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st There is a talk that there will be a lot of wind in Brighton, so it can affects performance and behaviour of the ball, however i think that home team should be in fine form for this one, i search more info and view in the web before light on this one with a pretty hard stake

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st BBC website reporting that Derby's leading goalscorer Chris Martin is a doubt after suffering a shin injury in training. Of the goals this season, Martin scored 13, Bryson (Midfield) 9 & Ward (Midfield) 6. Russell is highest other striker with 5 this season.

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st Birmingham - Nottingham Forest By Christmas, both teams have pretty decent speed, so the hosts in the last 6 meetings 3 wins and 3 draws , allowing the team to climb to 15th place after a bad start , guests 2 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat in the last games and current 7th place. The average home matches Birmingham hammered 2.5 goals(1.4 - 1.1) , if you look at the team home games , the bet "both to score" quite often held: Birmingham - Blackpool 1:1 Birmingham - Doncaster 1:1 Birmingham - Middlesbrough 2:2 8 of the last 10 matches at St Andrews in Birmingham ended on "both to score" , 80 % of the games. Nottingham Forrest hammered 2.7 goals (1.5 - 1.2). If you look again at the team play on the road through "both to score" it is also 8 of 10 games ended with "both to score" which is quite a good indicator. Regard to the composition , then the hosts outside defenders Hancox (6/0 ), Spector (8/0), Murphy (6/2), Eardley and forwards Novak (16/2), Green (10/1). For guests not play Cohen (16/1), Wilson (7/0), Collins (5/0). Lastly, we turn to "h2h": Birmingham - Nottingham Forest 2:1 Nottingham - Birmingham 2:2 Birmingham - Nottingham Forest 1:2 Nottingham - Birmingham 1:3 In general, both teams are in good shape, both teams will play to win , and both teams have problems in defense. Put "both to score" at 1.73 with Bet365 , the benefit of statistics on our side. Or not?

Re: Sky Bet Championship > December 18th - 21st Men, this league is SO unpredictable. I keep saying that to myself after every time I placed a bet and lost. All things were in favor of QPR today Better form, home advantage, more rest,H2H, Leicester's away form etc etc etc.. They played pretty good in the first half and were by far the better team but what the heck? If they concede they can't even score a goal? I mean come, almost never a favorite wins in here :D
