Re: La Liga > December 13th - 16th Levante (0) @ 1.72 Pinnacle This match is a moment of truth for Levente as a team. The team lost 4 consecutive times in a row, but this streak was related to the numerous injuries and bad luck. However, this time leading players will be in the squad and bad lack may only be in a limited amount. You can’t say Elche is on the top of their game or some impressive results, the only good win for them is a win over Valencia which was an absolutely occasional victory. Levante faces tremendous pressure in this game and I can admit they’re in must win situation. Let’s see how Levante can win this match besides motivation factor. Elche have got two serious absences. The central defender David Rogriguez Lobman who is expected to be out of the squad. Perhaps, his level and quality isn’t higher than veteran Sergio Pelegrin Lopez and leased Alberto Botia, but they both missed the last match and may not be in optimal playing shape. Absence that is even bigger for guests is leader of attacks Manu Del Moral. Without him Elche is not that dangerous in terms of creating the chances and creativity. His improvisation could be the crucial factor tonight in Levante, but without him Elche is looking too predictable and home team should be able to read their attacking intentions. The most important factor today is the return of Levante playmaker and backbone player of Levante Andreas Ivanshitz. Levante offensive power looked toothless without him. Today we are expecting from him good breakthrough to Jordi Xumetra and Nabil El Zhar, the edge of the attack is expected of Baba Diawara. It should be noted that quick game of wingers and non-standard actions of Andreas Ivanshitz is likely to lead to the fact that defenders of Elche wil not have time to cover all zones and somebody from the attacking quartet will be given the good position to score. I see this as a weakness of Elche defense and this is a big chance for Levante boys. Elche has a strong game on the flanks, which they show in the last matches. However, today they will face Pedro Lopez and Juanfran. If you compare these defenders to wingers of Elche, you will come to the same conclusion – Elche will not be able to use their strongest weapon today. Levante have also got serious loss – Hector Rodas. But this play can well be replaced. Secondly, with a lack of creativity in attack Eche is not expected to give a big load of work on the defensive line of Levante. It obviously is a serious loss, but today it will not affect that much. One more thing is worth to mention, this game is a regional derby, so the lack of motivation fact cannot be considered in this game. Also the sum of components tells us that Levante is the favourite today. High odds of their win is the effects of misfortune of the last games. Elche have no chances to win, the draw is maximum they can achieve. Today we should realize the bookmaker’s mistake and place bets on Levante (0). More over because this is derby. Good luck!

Re: La Liga > December 13th - 16th Barcelona haven't dropped points at home in the league excluding two games against Real for over two years so it's no wonder they're priced under 1.2 for nearly every game. However tomorrow they face Villarreal and I think there's some very good value on show. Villarreal will miss key holding midfielder Bruno Soriano who is suspended and other star performer Cani is doubtful. Barca's front three of Alexis, Fabregas and Neymar are on fire at the moment and Jordi Alba is fit again. At these unusually high odds I've got to take the Barcelona victory. 7pts Barcelona @ 1.33 StanJames

Re: La Liga > December 13th - 16th Barcelona - Villiareal Barcelona HT/FT @ 1.81 Betfair Real Madrid have just failed to break the resistance of Osasuna and Barca have a great opportunity to boost their advantage in terms of points. They need to win over Yellow Submarine on Camp Nou for that. Villarreal travels to Catalonia with 2 very important misses in the squad. Their playmaker “Cani” and captain Bruno will be out for this match. These players provide dominance in midfield whereby the guests gained the points this season. In addition, the following players will take part in this match with minor injuries: the key striker Diovani Dos Santos and left wingback Bojan Jokic. E According to the medical staff of Villiareal told that Bojan Jokic is not fully recovered from a hamstring injury and you can assume it will be very hard to resist the attacking brilliance of Barcelona. Blaugranas team also have some misses for this match including: Adriano, Messi, Valdes. However, there are positive things in returning of Alba and Dani Avles, so the absence of Adriano will not so influential. Messi can not be fully replaced, but in recent games at his position Neymar is being excellent. Therefore to sum up, I think Barca misses can well be compensated by the players who returned to the squad and their form at Camp Nou. Both teams prefer to play offensively and creating a lot of chances with good combinations. Both teams don’t like the aggressive style of game, not too strong on the second floor and they are not sitting deep in defence, allowing the opponents to attack and create chances. In these terms Barca and Villiareal are similar to each other. However, in today’s game we can clearly outline the problems in organization game in contrast of Barca. It is simply Barcelona who is much better it’s opponent today and have great motivation to win and bounce back from the losses in Primera. If Barcelona wins, they usually do it starting hammering their opponents from the first minute to have a good lead in the first half. Nothing heralds today to this tradition and it is highly unlikely that Villiareal has resources for effective resistance. Therefore, the best bet in my opinion is Barcelona HT/FT for great odds. Good luck!
