Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Early bet. Maccabi Tel Aviv @ 1.57 Bordeaux will travel without many of their first team players as they have no chance of qualifying to the next round. For Maccabi it will be a historic qualification. The stadium will be full, excitement is very big and Maccabi will start their best formation.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th UEFA Europa League - Tottenham to beat Anzhi Makhachkala @ 1.24 Betfair Even though Tottenham don't need to win this match as they have already cemented top spot in the group, their manager has shown that this is a competition that he respects and so I think they will be setting up for a victory. Although there are likely to be changes made to the team, Tottenham have rotated throughout this competition without any problems, and any players coming into the side will be hoping that a good performance might lead to a run in the side. Anzhi are a side in freefall at the moment, and are rock bottom in their domestic league having failed to win a single game all season. They have also been finding it difficult to score in recent matches, and so one goal could be all that is needed here.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th 3pts Wigan to beat Maribor 29/20 Bet365 Wigan have a number of men missing in this match but I do still expect them to have enough to win this game. You would think they will be looking to impress their new manager, a manager who should be useful managing in European competitions having come from Germany and played in a couple of countries. Maribor won’t lay down and die but if Wigan want this enough, and I think we’ve seen from their commitment in the group so far that they do, then they can edge through here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/maribor-vs-wigan-betting-wigan-can-sneak-the-win-they-need-to-stay-alive-in-europe 4pts St Gallen vs Swansea - Under 2.5 goals 1.95 Bet365 Swansea should be good enough to win this game but they only need a point and having played on Monday night and with a late arrival and another game on Sunday there’s too many potential excuses for me to have a bet on them to win. I think this will be a tight game. Swansea aren’t going to open up unless results elsewhere force them to while St Gallen have other fish to fry too so under 2.5 goals looks a fairly obvious pick to me. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/st-gallen-vs-swansea-betting-swansea-can-secure-their-knockout-passage-in-low-scoring-game 3pts Tottenham vs Anzhi - Under 2.5 goals 6/4 William Hill Really and truly although neither side will admit it publicly this is a match they could both do without given that absolutely nothing hangs on it. This has the makings of one of those matches where both sides just go through the motions without a spark or any intensity so the 6/4 on their being less than 2.5 goals is a price which appeals. The reverse fixture was 2-0 to Spurs but Spurs could only beat Tromso and Sheriff narrowly so I like under 2.5 goals here. Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Dinamo-Ludogoretz I don't know what's the situation, motvation and etc. in the home team but Stoev said that the team is starting to feel tiredness but despite that they are travelling to Zagreb hoping to grab the points.Anyway i don't think that's completey true because whatever they do they will finish on the top of the group.Last weekend they lost a derby game against Levski at home and they will want to bounce back.At sunday they host one of the worst teams in the division and i think that they will win easiness anyway so no point to rest players here.Stoev will play the strongest squad he has available. But the draw suits the team too.Dinamo will play with no pressure. They won the big derby against Hajduk and they are out of Europe league so nothing to worry about.BTTS is a good option too but i will stick with the Draw here.Correct score 1:1 EDIT:At least 3 changes will be made in Ludogorets's starting line-up:It's expected Chvorovic to replace Vladislav Stoqnov as a goalkeeper. He is a debutant in Europe league. It's expected tomorrow VLadislav Stoqnov to be named in the perfect team of Europe League.2nd is Georgi Terziev who plays for the Bulgarian National team under 21 but missed many games this season due to an injury. He will replace Barth as a CB.The biggest abcent will be Ludogorets's ''star'' Virgil Misidjan. He will be replaced by Stoqnov ar Aballo. It remains unclear yet.In general these are important missings and depending on how the home team takes the game the bet would be placed. For now i stick to a Draw but if Dinamo name the strongest line-up than a home win will be my call

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th I've tried to identify the games where there is still something to play for as the Europa league can be a bit of a nightmare. Firstly, PSV V Chernomorets Over 10 Corners @ 1.925 - bet365. No stats as such to back this up, merely trying to draw up a picture of the style of the game. Both sides sit level on points with seven, and qualification hinges on whether PSV avoid defeat. I don't think they necessarily "need" to win but a win would be good. Anything else would be poor as they're having a miserable time in the league. Chernomorets would therefor qualify with a win, which is obviously a huge task. Playing against PSV might be a daunting prospect but because of PSV's league form Chernomorets can suprise here, and that is why I fancy a fair few corners in the process. The stake is returned if just ten corners are achieved so the line is all good. Next, NK Maribor + 0.25 @ 1.85 - bet365 V Wigan. Very good odds here IMO for Maribor to take something at home to a Wigan side who I think now have bigger fish to fry. They recently sacked Owen Coyle and have appointed Uwe Rosler who has been brought in to save their season, and try to get promotion through the playoffs. I think this competition would have been better received had they not been relegated last season. Maribor can progress with a win at home here if Rubin can beat Zulte Waregem. I believe they can win here because they're usually very dominant at home and know how to score goals. What concerns me with Wigan is that they're favourites away in Europe having failed to score in their two previous away encounters. I just don't make them favourites and they're surely being awarded that tag because they're English. Wigan have had a lot of injuries, and they will be resting their better players in anticipation of Saturday's game against Bolton. They've only scored five goals away all season, and four of those came against Barnsley on the opening day. Striker Grant Holt won't play either. Macabi Tel Aviv - 1 @ 2.025 - bet365 V Bordeaux A game here where Tel Aviv don't need to win, a draw would be fine. However I think Bordeaux have more important things on their mind and they're out of the competiton. Maccabi Tel Aviv are usually pretty dominant at home and Bordeaux are set to rest players with a view to concentrate on the league so I expect a home win here. I'd rather back this line at even money as Tel Aviv aren't a hugely fancied European side so the odds are more appealing. Money back if they only win by one. They already beat leaders Frankfurt here 4-2.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Sheriff Tiraspol - Tromso Sheriff is in 3d place with 3 points in Group K! At home they are 0-1-1 goals 0:2 ! After five games played they lost two and drew three! They lead the Divizia Nationala in Moldova with 50 points ,11 points ahead Fc Tiraspol. Sheriff stadium have natural grass, even though it looks like turf! They are a good team but interesting fact is the top scorer of squad is a defender Luvannor 15/18,but 0 goals in Europa League. The only missing for home team is brasilian striker Ricardinho 7/1. Tromso Il is in last place with 1 point. Away they are 0-0-2 goals 0:4 ! They relegate this year in Addecoligaen. Left the squad defender Saliou Ciss ( to Valenciennes France) and midfilder Josh Pritchard . Also defender Jaroslaw Fojut 7/0 suspended ,striker Steffen Nyström 3/0 injured . Striker Zdenek Ondrasek 6/1 is the most danger player in Tromso squad. Even the odds are in home favor i believe in a good result tonight in Moldova for Norwegians ! Pick DNB Tromso 5.00 @ Bet365 5/10 Good Luck!

Both teams have nothing to play for in terms of qualification. That´s one hell of a risky bet as it is impossible to predict which side will be motivated and which side won´t. Maybe sherif is motivated to hold on to 3rd spot and maybe tromso is motivated to get the 3rd spot or maybe neither of them has any motivation tonight as they play for nothing that could bring real fire into them. I was thinking of trying to find some unders games as most sides are already qualified and will try to save legs for their respective leagues. But the problems is just that the statistics are quite unreliable as you have no idea what players will be fielded. I myself was also thinking of taking Tottenham-Anzhi as an under or PAOK AZ Alkmaar. But for AZ I know they field a complete B team for this fixture meaning all of the previous statistics were played with a different team and have no relevance to this match. So that is the tricky part maybe you get some reserve players who will want to take this chance to show their capabilities for the first team and play motivated like there is no tomorrow. Same for Tottenham maybe some 2nd choice attackers want to prove their worth and just score 3 against a reserve defense of Anzhi that lacks quality. I think I will seek it tonight in the teams that have something to play for and have some quality so at least you can be sure they will try their best and the first team players will play.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Frankfurt - Apoel over 2.5 This appeals as an interesting overs bet tonight. Apoel can still qualify but they need to beat Frankfurt tonight by 4 goals difference and hope Maccabi will lose if they want to have a chance of going through to the next round. I am not sure if APOEL have already given up on this league but if I am not mistaken they are the only team from Cyprus left in Europe and there will be some honor at stake and a real albeit small chance of qualifying. Eintracht Frankfurt score at home quite easily themselves in this group having defeated Bordeaux 3-0 and Maccabi 2-0 at home. But they are already qualified so who knows what team they will play with tonight. That is the tricky part of this bet I have no idea what Frankfurt's idea for this match will be. All I know is that APOEL can not play for some 0-0 or 1-1 as they will have to open it up immensely to get to 4 goals. Normally this is quite a defensive team so they have to change up their style completly leading to plenty of chances for Frankfurt as well who managed to beat them 0-3 away already. Unless both sides have given up this might not be a good bet but it seems to me APOEL really has something to play for. Frankfurt is the risk part as they might play with a second choice team. Bets to consider: Over 2.5 goals @ 1.91 William Hill Over 3.5 goals @ 3.25 Willam Hill

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Tottenham to win to Nil @ 1.72 - bet365. It's a fairly obvious bet but the situation Anzhi are in just compounds matters for me. They travelled with a squad of twenty players, and have quite a few injuries. They somehow managed to qualify already for the next phase of the Europa League so don't have any incentive to do anything. They also have had a lot of problems scoring goals this season with only six goals scored in their last fifteen home and away fixtures, and tonight they could only have one fit striker.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th

Does somebody know something about Lazio roster for tonight? I think that Lazio win is not a question if they present a competitive squad.
Here's the confirmed squad list for Lazio :- Goalkeepers: Marchetti, Berisha, Guerrieri; Defenders: Biava, Radu, Ciani, Novaretti, Cavanda; Midfielders: Ledesma, Onazi, Ederson, Lulic, Candreva, Hernanes, Biglia, Felipe Anderson; Forwards: Floccari, Perea, Keita, Klose. Looks like a strong squad to me. I can only see Alvaro Gonzalez, Bruno Perierinha and Lorik Cana as the only players of note not selected. I suppose Lorik Cana is the most notable absentee.

Sure, but a complete guide would help ;) Anyhow, 18 teams have qualified already, and there are SIX places left up for grabs, one each from these groups: A (Swansea or Kuban, 18.00 k.o.) B (PSV or Odessa, 18.00) D (Waregem, Wigan or Maribor, 18.00) F (Maccabi or APOEL, 18.00) G (Dinamo or Rapid, 20.05) H (Freiburg or Liberec, 20.05) Four of the six remaining places will be settled in the early 18.00 games, and two in the late 20.05 ones.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th

that's the worst accumulator i have seen. you'd be lucky to get two correct. all teams have everything to play for. if they win the match they get 250000.
I doubt this sort of money for the club will motivate players at all. I think players will only be really motivated if there is a real gain for themselves, progressing in the tournament and playing more european football and the ability to showcase themselves to bigger clubs might be a real motivation. The only motivation I could see is in game where there is no qualification possible anymore is that B team players want to show themselves to the coach and will give it their all. But who can predict such a thing that is nearly impossible. I doubt regulars would want to risk an injury and will just try to save legs for the important domestic games.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th

Early bet. Maccabi Tel Aviv @ 1.57 Bordeaux will travel without many of their first team players as they have no chance of qualifying to the next round. For Maccabi it will be a historic qualification. The stadium will be full, excitement is very big and Maccabi will start their best formation.
Yes, completely changed Bordeaux line-up by the look of it ... http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2014/matches/live/index.html?day=6&session=1&match=2012607

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th

Frankfurt - Apoel over 2.5 This appeals as an interesting overs bet tonight.
Small update I have just seen that Frankfurt has made about 9 changes to the starting line up. Playing with none of their top scorers and with 4 replacements in the defense. So now this bet becomes trickier as I cannot predict the quality of the Frankfurt attack or defense. It might be that they score 1 2 or in the worst case zero and all 3 goals will have to come from Apoel. This makes this bet a whole lot risky-er. It's not so easy to score against Apoel and it is definitely not easy if you play with second tier attackers and five midfielders. The only reason to bet this is that Apoel has to play open house tonight but nobody can honestly tell you anything about the quality of the Frankfurt squad. I think it is best to sit this one out. And to make matters worse APOEL is not even playing with the first team so this is a total call off.

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th MARIBOR vs WIGAN Bookmakers still desperately believe that Wigan need Europa League, I have a very different opinion and offer the side underestimated by bookmakers , the slovenian team. Begin with motivation. Wigan has a ghost of a chance of reaching next chance as before the end of last round, are behind Waregem by 2 points and belgians enough to play a draw at home with the second composition of Rubin to bury the hopes of Wigan. After the last round in the crucial match against Waregem team played mixed team and eventually lost at home 1-2. Priority for the team is to return to the Premier League , but so far things are bad: place in the middle of the table. Maribor , as well as Wigan can leave the group if they win and Rubin defeats Waregem , so motivation for the hosts is there, unlike the british side, the slovenes course eager to go as far as possible today. The next thing want to mention - at weekend Wigan will have derby with Bolton , so in this match wont take part defender Ramis (3/0) , striker Holt (14/2) , winger McClean (16/0) disqualified , midfielder Maloney (5/3) injured. Yes, and even some of the players the basics certainly get rest. In Maribor no significant losses. Wigan weak display while playing away , in the Championship (6 defeats in 9 meetings , in the last 7 games only 2 goals scored) in the Europa League (1-0 defeat Rubin , 0-0 Waregem , then here generally have no goals scored). Overall, Maribor , must beat Wigan , put on the hosts with Handicap (0) for the very "fat" coefficient , 2.15 Unibet

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th

for anyone interested and unaware Standard - Elfsborg The Standard-coach will field a B-team in this game. http://www.lameuse.be/878967/article/sports/foot-belge/standard/2013-12-11/standard-elfsborg-en-europa-league-guy-luzon-debutera-le-match-avec-plusieu
As far as I can see there are some changes, but most players are the same as last EL game - http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/season=2014/matches/live/index.html?day=6&session=1&match=2012601

Re: Europa League > Thursday December 12th Tottenham won all matches of the group stage , while on the field of Anzhi they won convincingly 2-0. Besides, Anzhi are facing compo problems before the match - Eshenko (knee) , Akhmedov (broken thumb) , Kerzhakov (also broken finger) , Gadzhibekov , Traore has long been injured , Solomatin injury - knee. In addition, in the last match Angbva adductors damaged. And in the championship things are not the best way - no win in 19 rounds. Absolutely confidence that Tottenham will break today Machatschkala. It is clear that Tottenham stronger , but there will be enough of that to score more than 3 goals? Yes. I think that Villas-Boas isnt happy with the attack this season , lets be fair 11:1 in 5 games of Europa League with likes of Anzhi, Tromso or Sheriff - not surprising to see. But 15 games in the EPL and the goal difference 15:16 (!) it isnt good at all, I mean on the long run. So for this match against decimated Anzhi, coach will want the team to score as many times possible. Anzhi collected 8 points and qualified for the next round , with a goal difference 3:3 - but considering a lots of main players are out for this encounter , it seems for me tonight at White Hart Lane will be one way traffik. Put on Individual Total Goals Tottenham Over 2.5 at 2.00 Bet365
