Re: Coupe de la Ligue > December 17th & 18th Is there anyone who can give some squad information for these games. Hard to find when you dont speak french.. I really like ol nice again at home against sochaux. They played against eachother in the weekend and nice won deservedly. They were the way better side and should have beaten the handicap. On first sight I think sochaux will focus on the league. They are really struggeling and desperately in need of points. If nice will field a strong line-up, I have no doubts they will win this fixture again. They are strong at home and I fancy them to take the win here. Medium takes on the home win and nice -1 with small stakes if their squad is fine.

Auxerre, Lyon, Nice, Evian, Toulouse, PSG, Bordeaux & Troyes are my predictions to progress into QFs. But as always, I won't be betting on the CDL, it's usually a minefield

Home side only miss some long terms like barbosa and benezet and some non regular players. Their topscorer berigaud is back since last game and it wont take much time before he finds the net again. They played pretty well last game against Reims but still conceded a very late goal due a bad keeper error. Unlucky they deserved the win though. They face bastia who are having a decent season so far. Collecting most points at their home ground. Away they struggle often and with the missings they have tonight it will be very hard for them to get anything from this game. They will miss the suspended Palmieri (important defender) and Bruno ( important striker with 3 goals). Injured players : Landreau, (reg goalkeeper) boudebouz (important creative midfielder) and Modesto. ( other defender really important) and Ba ( reg midfielder). But, ladies and gentleman it is even worse than this. They travelled without ; squillaci ( best defender) , diakite (4th reg defender) and raspetino (striker with 2 goals). Without all these players and Evian likely to put out a strong side this will be a one sided game. Odds will drop for sure so act quickly. Strong home side vs weak away side with so much reg players out. I can't do nothing else than to go big on the home win. High stakes for me odds around 2.10 hom win and evian -1 @ 3.60 medium stakes. Goalkeeper Costil, Pitroipa (important creative winger) Danze ( important fullback hard to replace) and Makoun (experienced midfielder). Kadir is also still injured and he will be missed a lot. Scored 5 goals and is a real threat. Pajot is back after long injury. Big blows for Rennes and they face a bordeaux side who are on a great run. They only miss important winger Faubert but they are still strong enough to get something here. X2 is my call here, draw is likely or a tight win for bordeaux. Bordeaux will play against marseille away from home this weekend so we will have to wait if they go full power for this game. If they field a strong squad I fancy them to get atleast a point here. PSG is without Alex, Maxwell and Jallet in defence. Saint-Etienne is the defending champion of this cup, they will fighting for sure. PSG have not win against Saint-Etienne since two years and 4 matches (1-2, 0-0, 2-2, 2-2). Also Ibra is suspended, I think that both team could find the net tonight. Like number of punters, i've finally bet on Evian tonight cause of the absences in Bastia team... And the Corses win at half-time... Publics bets... publics ennemies of bettors... Let's see in second half. And hope that Saint-Etienne will score a goal against PSG in second half, they had some chances in first half but PSG, even without Ibra, is really Champion's League material this year and it seems that they growing up match after match, really impressive, really... @13 for PSG win the Champion's League ? Too bad Evian could not cover the handicap but they started without some regulars too especially Berigaud unfortunetaly. Anyways, great round good profit. Hope u all followed. Cu @ the weekend.
