kevshat
After a one sided Test series India and the West Indies play a three match ODI series which begins on Thursday. All games are live on Sky and given the West Indies' better abilities in the limited overs format it should be much more competitive. kevshat
Re: India vs West Indies - ODI Series Series preview: 3pts R.Sharma Top India Series Batsman 5/2 Coral I think India will win the series but they look a little short given the talent the West Indies have in their squad. Instead the best bet could be Rohit Sharma being the Top India Series Batsman. Sharma shone brightly in the ODI series against Australia recently and then made a huge 177 on Test debut against the West Indies, an innings he followed up with another century in the second Test so Sharma should be seeing it like a football right now. He opens up so he’ll have the maximum time to bat if good enough and at 5/2 he looks the bet of this series. kevshat
Re: India vs West Indies - ODI Series 1st ODI preview: 4pts West Indies Most 6s 13/10 Coral In almost all of the matches in the India vs Australia series Australia hit the most sixes and you have to fancy the West Indies to continue that trend here given the savage hitters they have in their ranks. If this is a Chris Gayle day then we can forget about the sixes contest because it won’t be one but the likes of Johnson Charles, Dwayne Bravo and even someone like Darren Sammy down the innings can all smash a long ball. By and large India’s top two or three don’t hit many sixes apart from that insane innings from Rohit in Bangalore. This is no Bangalore though so I’ll take the Windies to hit the most sixes here. kevshat
Re: India vs West Indies - ODI Series 3rd ODI preview: 4pts West Indies Most 6s 6/5 Paddy Power West Indies won the six hitting in the opening ODI and but for a huge number of mishits which bounced just inside the ropes in the second ODI they would have won that too rather than draw it. The Caribbean style is to bat with flair and go the aerial route whereas in a must win game I think we’ll see the Indian top order rein it in a little bit so I like the look of the Windies to hit the most sixes here even without Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard.
