Aurora sit bottom of the pile on five points, and they've actually got the highest level of average goals in the league at just over three. Nacional Potosi have lost their last two away fixtures and are in danger of slipping away from their fourth placing in the league table. Away from home they aren't generally a force and that is reflected in the odds. So I can see this being a fairly open encounter as Aurora attempt to get out of the relegation zone against poor travelers. Both sides should open up as both may see this as a winnable tie. Four out of the last six head to heads have gone over here too.

The system in Bolivia is very strange, as not only they have Clausura and Apertura (typical for most South American countries), but they determine the relegation teams by compiling so-called relegation table, which calculates the ratio of points won to matches played within the last two years (two Aperturas and two Clausuras). Because of this, we have the paradox, that one of best performing team in Bolivia this season - Aurora - which finished at 6th place and qualified for Copa Sudamericana - is playing in this relegation play-off because of their poor performance in previous seasons. Aurora is in formidable form at home, having won 8 of the last 9 games, including wins over the local super-powers Bolivar and San Jose. They play in Cochabamba in Central Bolivia at 2550m altitude. Their opponent Yacuiba comes from a town near the border with Argentina, which has the tremendous disadvantage in footballing terms to be situated at only 650m altitude. So, Yacuiba will not only have the disadvantage to play at high altitude in Cochabamba, but they will also have to play for promotion not against some of the weakest teams in Bolivian LPFB, but actually against one of the best performing teams this year.
