That's exactly why I check this thread, in hope a Belgium guy can help with useful info. The home win has gone up to 1,57, but the Asians are giving 1,825 for Brugge + 1 AH - I am very tempted, shame I didn't follow any info about the transfers here. I guess I will go blindly for this one... GL

After their abysmal result against Lierse, he was (finally) heavily criticized by the media and even some players. He never plays with the same eleven, which is really stupid when you have such a young team. They need confidence, and they won't get it if they don't get the the opportunity to play more than two games on the same position. Today he chooses a 4-4-2, with N'Sakala, a left back, as a winger and Vargas, a central player, as a right winger. I don't like this at all. Kortrijk isn't in great form either. But they have a smart coach, who will certainly take advance of Anderlecht's weaknesses. A very important fact is the state of the pitch. It has been raining a lot in Belgium and Kortrijk's pitch is very bad. Two teams in bad form and a bad pitch: I'll take the under 2.5 @2.12 (Betfair).

They played a midweek game, but they won't be tired because they secured their place in the cup final. Charleroi had some surprising results in the first round, but they lost all of their best players in January: Kaya, Pollet and Milicevic. They're not the same team anymore, so I'll go for Lokeren @1.44 (Betfair)

But there's a big difference between those games and tonight's game: Lierse is not the underdog anymore. But I still think the odd for Lierse +0.5 is way too high. Their strikers Watt and Bourabia are in great form, and their confidence is good. Bergen on the other hand is maybe the worst team of the league. They didn't show anything against a weak Club Brugge, and I think Lierse will get at least a draw tonight. Lierse+0.5 @ 1.8x and over 2.5 @2.0x (Betfair)

The only slight worry for the hometeam is that their first keeper is very questionable. The odd for the homewin has raised from 2.6 till 3.1. This is just too high, all the value is at the homewin. Anderlecht is playing very poor at the moment, lots of players are totaly out of form for a few months already. Last week they had problems with Bergen, the number 16 of the Jupiler league, in the end they won the game but were boeed by the fans. The biggest problem is the coach. He keeps changing the players and also the system. After 26 games he used 23 different starting 11. Offcourse if it gels tonight for the awayteam a win is possible because the quality is there. Exept from 2-3 games it didn't came out yet and the last month didn't give us any signs that it will tonight. So I'm glad to be on the homewin with such odd.

Re: Belgium > Jupiler Pro League > 2013/14 KV Mechelen - Lokeren Lokeren -0.25 @1.99 (Pinnacle) I really like Lokeren. They are the best team in Belgium at the moment in my opinion (the big clubs are struggling). They have a good defense, a decent midfield with a promising playmaker like Vanaken and Junior Dutra in the attack. And, also important, a very good bench with Patosi and Harbaoui. KV Mechelen is having a very bad year. In the past they always had a hard working team with one or two players who could make a difference, but they lack quality nowadays. Lokeren is already sure of the cup final and will go for the three points, and I think they'll get them. Straight away win is also a good option.

Tonight one of the title contenders open thier season: Cub Brugge. They play at Heist FC, some bookies (like Bet365) have this game in their line-up. Heist FC - Club Brugge -1.5 @1.85 (8/10) Heist is playing in Belgians reginoal second tier, which you can say it's one of Belgian sixth division. Odds are so high because I think the bookies think Brugge plays at KSK Heist which is a second division team. Two years ago they played at KSK and it ended in 1-1, last year they played at FC Heist and they won 1-5. Off course there will be lots of subs on. Some players are on the WC or still on holiday after some international games at the end of the season.
