Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th The odds on Inter are too high in my opinion and this is why I already bet on Inter -0.25AH at @1,67 in bet365. It seems like they like playing in Torino because in the last 12 years they won all their visits there, I mean against FC Torino. Torino of course is always capable of scoring a goal and I don't expect Inter to have a walk in the park, this is the main reason I chose the Asian handicap for insurance in case of a draw.

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th I am going to wait for a little bit before making a decision on the Torino V Inter game. We are yet to hear the condition of Inter's fully assembled squad after the international break and there are already some potential pitfalls on the horizon. It looks like Alvarez (Inter's best player this season) and Milito are out while there are doubts over the conditions of Palacio and possibly even key defender Campagnaro. Mazzarri's squad will meet up today and so we should know more about the injuries at some stage tommorow. I would recommend that punters hold back for a little while longer on this one before we get a more complete picture. Obviously there are some defensive problems for Torino here but Inter will still need to have their top players on the field to overcome them as I really like Torino this year, they are much improved! Let's see what happens over the next 24 hours or so and I will post a further update.

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th

As Roma / Napoli is playing today guys
Yes... Roma without Balzaretti for suspension, most problably will play Dodo' or Torosidis... Napoli with Higuain but without Zuniga... Doubtful Armero.... http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/serie-a/le-probabili-formazioni-di-roma-napoli-higuain-c-e-ma-rafa-ha-due-dubbi-493614 we think that will be a great match... Napoli next week will play in CL against Marseille.... Roma no other commitment

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th

Roma - Napoli Somehow this fixture has overs written all over it, but the question is will the goalies have a great night... I am more than tempted to back over 3,5 @ 2,75 provided by bet365... any thoughts?
Roma AH -0.25 1.94 will be a safer one . Roma playing with such momentum , its hard not to back them at this price. and Napoli has CL next week away at marseille. Rafael Benitez would surely rotate a few as shown from his previous management at other clubs. He favour European success more than anything. To add on, 6 win out of roma last 7 games were clean sheet.

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th Roma V Napoli is such a tough game to predict all things considered. Roma virtually at full strength but Napoli without Zuniga and a few other important players not fully fit. 7 consecutive wins in a row for Roma with 20 goals scored and only 1 conceeded so I can see why people are backing them but Napoli and Benitez have the ability to disrupt them. You could make an argument for Roma -0.25 or Napoli +0.25, for me this indicates the markets have priced the game correctly and there is little value in a murky contest. Benitez will almost certainly play the strongest team he can here, he doesn't really have a choice, Napoli cannot allow Roma to gain more ground on them in the league. Napoli +0.25 @ odds against was the play that ended up making my shortlist but I will not be playing as I cannot find a big enough situational advantage for the away side here.

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th Roma v Napoli = Under 2.5 goals 2.10 Stan James On initial viewing this is a game which looks like a clear overs match but I would be wary to back it. Napoli will be looking to hit on the break tonight. They may find that harder here than they did in Milan. Roma have only conceded once this term and Benatia has slotted in very nicely with Leandro Castan, behind a hard working Daniele De Rossi. There is also the possibility that the international break may have eased Roma's momentum a touch. As much as I would love to see a goal scoring feast tonight, I can't help but feel there's a bit of value on the unders.

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th Torino V Inter update: Wish I could bring more concrete news but things are still in the balance, Alvarez almost certainly out for Inter as well as Milito. Campagnaro, Palacio and Icardi were late back to training as their flight from Argentina was delayed, Mazzari not happy as it's further hampering preperations for the Torino game. Maybe a chance for some of Inter's young guns to shine with the likes of Kovacic and Belfodil. International breaks are such a nightmare, can end up decimating 2 weeks worth of betting rather than just 1. I'm still undecided on this game, will wait for the convocati of both teams and then maybe ruminate some more. :eyes

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th Man , watching Italian soccer is so aggrevating. Napoli have 2 one-on-one's with the keeper in the 1st half. It's easier to kick it in the goal than miss, and both times the striker manages to F__k it up. I would score 1 of those goals, and I have two screwed knees and last kicked a ball 5 years ago. WTF was that. Roma go 2 up against 10 men and stop playing. Italian mafia at work .... .

They play to win 3 points' date=' they dont care if you play over 3 goals or something like that. It was 10 minutes left nobody would risk.[/quote'] Why not. They are playing against 10 men. Goal difference does matter. Ask Man United..... Italian soccer, the cleanest league in the world .... http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2013/08/lazio-captain-suspended-for-six-months-for-match-fixing/

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th Cagliari v Catania = HOME 1.95 William Hill Cagliari return to their home tonight, the Saint'Elia, after several parts of the stadium had to be upgraded. Their first game back since April 2012. They are in decent form as well considering they've had some tough matches. They have held both Inter at home and Fiorentina away to 1-1 draws, and may feel unfortunate not to be on more than 7 points. Stalwart Daniele Conti returns, as does the influential Andrea Cossu, Marco Sau returns to training but should just miss out on playing. Catania were a revelation last term. Their start to this season hasn't been great, they lost to Fiorentina, Inter and Livorno, all teams that Cagliari have held so far. Lanzafame and important CB Spolli miss out for the away side. With the motivation of the return home, and on the form, I'll take Cagliari at 1.95 - 2.00.

Thought Cannavaro may have ruined the bet, it held out though. :cigar

Re: Serie A > October 19th & 20th

anyone else think udinese might get something out of the milan game. Personally' date=' think milan are priced too short @1.70 with their injuries and suspensions[/quote'] It's a good question, the problem we have for this game is that Udinese are really poor away from home in this division. The absence of Balotelli and El Shaarawy will ofcourse weigh heavy for AC Milan but apparently Allegri has Kaka and Birsa returning to the fold to add to the likes of Robinho and Matri so the home side should still have 4 decent forwards here. Forward Muriel is only half fit for the away side which could be problematic. Are AC Milan a little short @ 3/4? Maybe a bit but it's not really a significant error in my view. I am not getting involved with this game but if people really feel the need to oppose Milan here then taking Udinese +1 @ 7/10 would be the sensible option. It's too tricky and value isn't huge which is why I'm staying out of it but good luck if you do decide to play.

I heard that Vidal was late back from Intl duty and so Conte has cut him this week. Significant absence for Juve if true.
