Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Beitar Jerusalem - Maccabi Petah Tikva Under 2.25 @ 1.85 A game which is very important for both teams. Beitar is in the 11th spot and Petah Tikva is 12, 4 points margin between them. Beitar talk a lot before this game saying they can't imagine losing again, that this game is super important for them and that they are coming super motivated. Talks aside, Beitar is a weak team without a real striker and without legitimate offensive options. In the meantime Beitar is checking many purchase options for the upcoming transfer window. Petah Tikva got their second win so far in the season last week, but not in a good match for them. Them too, like Beitar, lack a good striker. Beitar have only 1 point of the last 18, scoring 2 goals in the last 6 games. Petah Tikva scored 3 goals in the last 5 games. If odds on Beitar were a bit higher I would have tried home win here but the fact this match is important for both teams and both teams in their nature are quite defensive I' go with the under.

Beitar Jerusalem - Maccabi Petah Tikva 1:0 Not a great game for Beitar but they were able to secure a small victory.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Hapoel Beer Sheva +0 @ 2.08 Big game today. Hapoel Tel Aviv are very disappointed with their performances so far this season. They brought an expensive coach, gave him a big budget to build a team and restore Hapoel's status as a big team. Looking at their position and they way they are playing, it can be said they failed miserably. Hapoel are in the 7th place, coming after losing the derby of Tel Aviv two weeks ago and a big defeat 4-0 against Sachnin last week. Hapoel is having big problems, when the defense is the main problem in my opinion. For this match they will miss central defender Kolin, so left wing back Dgani will be fielded in the center of defense. Also in the position of the goalkeeper there is an uncertainty. First goalkeeper Klyman is very weak in the last couple of games and coach haven't decided yet which goalkeeper will start. Moreover, there have been talks all week about coach Ben Shimon. If it wasn't for his expensive contract, Hapoel would have fired him right after the defeat against Sachnin, but due to financial problems they are hoping he'll just file his resignation. Players talking about him losing the dressing room, about having no passion playing under him and a loss tonight will probably make him move to coach in Cyprus. On the other hand, Hapoel Beer Sheva need the victory in order to stay in 4 points margin from league leaders Maccabi Tel Aviv. Beer Sheva have good offense which can cause big trouble for the opponent's defense today. Beer Sheva are highly motivated, in good form and I believe value lies on their side.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Soccer / Israel Championship / 30.12.2013 Hapoel Tel Aviv - Hapoel Beer Sheva According to statistics Hapoel Tel Aviv always win at home vs this opponent (9 out of last 9!). But I will not be so categorical this time. Hapoel TA has not scored for two games in a row, so I think there will be kombat and both teams will score each other, even more, hosts have nowhere to retreat, looking at the standings Hapoel are in middle table. These are the thoughts. I believe in a very convincing away win today. Good luck ! If you disagree with the forecasts on Hapoel Tel Aviv - Hapoel Be'er Sheva then your comments are welcomed ! Main Tip. Hapoel Be'er Sheva Odds: 2.70 Bet365 Main Tip. Over 2.5 Odds: 2.10 William Hill Main Tip. Team Hapoel Be'er Sheva Over 1.5 Odds: 2.62 Bet365 Others. Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Maccabi Petah Tikva +0.5 @1.90 Watched games of both team last week. Hapoel Tel Aviv played against Beer Sheva in a very important match for them and lost 3-1. They actually played well creating chances but an unorganized defense and a lack of an in-form striker made them lose the game. Today Hapoel will face a team which is struggling in the bottom - Maccabi Petah Tikva. Petah Tikva lost last week to Beitar Jerusalem 1-0 but they didn't deserve the loss. So many chances in the first half but the ball just wouldn't go in. In the second half they were punished. Petah Tikva showed they can play good football, coming from the flanks with quick players in the offense. Many would place their money on the Hapoel today, saying that after 3 straight losses it's time for them to get the win but I disagree. Important players are still out, relationship with the coaches haven't improved. Only thing that has changed is the opponent. Hapoel were able to play good football lately against 2 two teams: Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Beer Sheva. In both games Hapoel lost. Today they will face a struggling team who can defense and Hapoel will face hard time playing against a defensive team rather than a team who come to play open and offensive.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Ashdod +0 @ 1.70 Ashdod lost to Maccabi Haifa 2-1 on Saturday but weren't that far from getting the draw after showing good football in the second half. Ashdod is the second best home team in the league with 5 wins, 3 draws and no losses. Kiryat Shoma is in very good form with 3 straight wins. Thing is I'm not impressed with this streak. A win against poor Bnei Yehuda, then against mediocre Maccabi Haifa and last week against Ramat Hasharon after not giving a big game with 2 goals in the last 10 minutes. Kiryat Shomna have many injuries for some time now and it seems that every week that goes by, and new name is added to the list. For this match they will have to manage without: midfielder Abutbul (13 games, 1 goal), striker Cahlon (11 games, 4 goals), defender Tzedek (4 games), defensive midfielder Rochet (10 games) and defender Ohayon (9 games). Big question is if striker Badash who haven't trained during the week due to a hamstring will play as coach is having thought about the striker position. I wanted to take the -0.25 but I believe a draw is a possible result here so I took the money line.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Hapoel Raanana - Ramat Hasharon Under 2.5 @ 1.70 My first thought on this match was backing the home team here but I eventually decided going with the under. Raanana is not the same team that opened the season. The newcomer surprised everyone, even themselves, with a great opening, reaching the 4 place but since then there has been a massive decline which led the team to the 9th spot and 5 straight games without a win. Raanana is a good defensive team which plays on counter attacks. Striker Nawakama was on of the key players in the formation but as the team started to play weaker, his skill declined too. Raanana will miss their first goalkeeper and central defender Luis. Ramat Hasharon need points like breathing air. One place before the last place, some declared them as a sure candidate for relegation but a streak of 6 games without losing gave the team some hope. Since then they lost twice in the last couple of games. Match is important for both sides and I think we'll see a tactical rather then an open and fluent game so Under seems like a good possibility.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Local bookie in Israel is a very lame one with no Asian handicaps and no under/over we have in rare occasions. The only bet from what I picked is Maccabi Petah Tikva (+1) in European handicap and the odds are @ 1.85 Other 2 bets are not existed in the local.

Maccabi Petah Tikva +0.5 @ 1.90 Lost Ashdod +0 @ 1.70 Won Hapoel Raanana - Ramat Hasharon Under 2.5 @ 1.70 Lost
Very unlucky day. Maccabi Petah Tikva was the superior team until getting a red card which turned the match completely. Plus two goals in the last 10 minutes of Ramat Hashron.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Any thoughts on tonights maccabi tel aviv game setup? I find the 1,67 odd i can get not spectacular but rather ok considering it is a team I can usually rely upon. The handicap is looking attractive too but maybe it is too risky. I cannot find any important injuries on either side so I doubt there is a big catch. It is obviously your team so a word of advice would be appreciated. Mazzeltov :ok

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Two small punts for today's League 2 games: Maccabi Netanya @ 1.57 Both teams played on Wednesday qualifying to to the next round in the cup. Hapoel Petah Tikva have some financial problems and teams started making unofficial offers to players and future is somehow cloudy for the team. Striker Lior Asulin will not play this match after coach decided to suspended him for negotiating with rivals Maccabi Petah Tikva. Netanya is the best team in the league, they will come prepared and a home win seems like a good option. Beitar Tel Aviv Ramla +0 @ 2.03 Rishon Letzion played 120 minutes on Tuesday winning on penalties a team from a lower league while Beitar Tel Aviv won easily. Rishon is at the bottom of the table and value here is on the away side imo.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Bnei Sachnin +0.5 @ 2.03 Both teams are coming after losses: Maccabi Haifa lost to Maccabi Tel Aviv 3-1 and Sachnin lost surprisingly to last place Bnei Yehuda. Haifa will miss three regulars for this match: Captain Yaniv Katan (15 games), defender Falah (9 games) and defensive midfielder Yadin (14 games). Sachnin will want to bounce back after last week and have the tools to do that. Very quick offensive players which can embarrass Haifa's defense. Maccabi Petah Tikva +0.5 @ 1.78 I keep backing Petah Tikva in the last couple of weeks because I believe they are better than what the table is showing. Last week they lost only because they had a player sent of in the 48th minute. Until that, they were the better team against Hapoel Tel Aviv, dominating the field. Petah Tikva is in the bottom because they are naive in my opinion. A team which is battling to stay in the league can't allow themselves the amount of missed chances Petah Tikva had in the last two games. Today they will meet Hapoel Aco, another bottom team. Aco secured very important point against Beer Sheva last week in the 90th minute. I hope Petah Tikva will finally pay me some dividends and will get at least a point.

Bnei Sachnin +0.5 @ 2.03 Lost Maccabi Petah Tikva +0.5 @ 1.78 Won
Hapoel Tel Aviv - Hapoel Haifa Both Teams To Score Yes @ 2.00 Odds on the home win are going down pretty quick since yesterday. Public's opinion is that after Hapoel Tel Aviv's last week win they will finally get into shape and will secure an easy victory today. My opinion is a little bit different. They might win today, but I expect a hard fought battle from the visitors today. Hapoel Tel Aviv won last week only because of the red card Maccabi Petah Tikva got in the 48th minute. Until then they were dominated and were very lucky not to concede. Hapoel's defense is a mess, letting opposition's strikers to reach their 16 box time after time, and what Maccabi Petah Tikva's strikers failed to do, I believe Hapoel Haifa will succeed. Haifa has talented offensive players who can score tonight. Good luck.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Bnei Sachnin -0.25 @ 2.21 Tough game between places 3 and 4. Sachnin are coming after 2 losses and will want to stop the bad run before they go down in the table. Last week they weren't far from equalizing in the final minutes but were too naive and eventually lost. Sachnin have a really balanced team this season with three great offensive players that can score against every defense in the league. It seems Kiryat Shmona is starting to stabilize. They opened the season with weak performances, losing points to small teams but now they are in good form, winning 4 out of the last 5. Kiryat Shomna are coming after their great win against champions Maccabi Tel Aviv. A win like that can give the team a morale boost but on the other hand it can cause complacency. The game will be played on a natural venue. We will see a good match here and I believe Sachnin have what it takes to come with the victory.

Beitar Jerusalem -0.75 @ 1.81 Beitar Jerusalem is the the team which seems that strengthened the most during the transfer window so far. Owner bought 4 players and today some of them will make their debut. Shlomi Azulay will start as a striker today, a position Beitar lacked quality players so far. Also Lugasi from Maccabi Tel Aviv and Villa from Celta Vigo will start as defensive midfielders. Ramat Hasharon had a busy weak, but not related to football. There has been rumors about players of the team that are betting illegally and yesterday the owner kicked defender Gabai (12 games) from the team. During this week a full investigation will begin. Furthermore Ramat Hasharon will have a few missing players for this match: Ben Shabat (16 games, 1 goal), right full back Musa (16 games) and striker Hazitch (16 games, 3 goals). Beitar are expecting 10,000 fans that will come to push the team and I'm with the home team today.

Re: Israel > Ligat Ha'al > 2013-14 Maccabi Tel Aviv @ 1.83 Maccabi after the elimination from the cup on Wedenesday will want to get the 3 points today. They will miss both of the left wing back and it remains to be seen who will play in the back. Sachnin had an easy game in the cup and will come fresher. BUT game will be played in a natrual venue and not in Sachnin's home stadium which will cause the game to be like a Maccabi's home game. Moreover some of Sachnin players had a virus in the last couple of days and it is still unkown who is healthy and who is still sick. I'm with Maccabi in this price. My local for example has this one @ 1.40 and I expect that during tomorrow odds will go down to something about @ 1.60
