16.30 Lingfield: Divea @ 6/1 Bet365 Lightly raced filly Divea tackles 2 miles for the first time. She didn't show much in three maidens and two subsequent starts in handicap company on turf but responded well for the switch to the All-Weather and the step up in trip to 12f at Wolverhampton recently. She travelled really strongly in rear of the field for a long time, but got stuck in traffic when trying to make ground from 4f out around the home turn, while much in contrast the leading horses had the run of the race to kick on and fight it out. Once space opened up Divea went for it but had to turn widest of all to do so which cost ground. But once straighten up in the home straight she really motored home in good style to finish 3rd in the end. The way she stayed on is indication that she could cope well with the new trip albeit it is quite a severe step up of course. But she is lightly raced, down to a low mark, has every chance to get the trip and could potentially very well handicapped for this.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 3.40pm @ Beverley 'Tiddliwinks' 8/1 (Ladbrokes) A top class sprinter at it's best and signs of a slight return when beaten a few lengths last time in the Nunthorpe. That was off a stone higher than tomorrows stakes race and the horse is drawn well enough to attack form the gate. Neil Callan is for me still the best front running jockey in the business and the track will suit such tactics. The form figures aren't great but has been keeping company at the top of the tree so I wouldn't read too much into that, tomorrows race, while certainly not lacking in quality, is easiest assignment for some time. 1 point win

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 2.10 Bev - Native Falls e/w 20/1 bet365 Swinbank said on website before debut that it was showing nice speed at home but has been btn 15 and 19L so far over 5f but interested now its upped to nearly a mile and should get it on breeding , swinbank 2/4 last 5 years with 2yos and 4/13 last 10years , Winston rode both outings but mullen gets the ride and although not most prolific at Bev , does ride well for trainer.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 1615 ballinrobe 1 pt win hold em cowboy 9/4 bet365 only 2 wins out of 34, and he has a touch of seconditis, but i fully expect that today he will finish in front,beaten at perth last time out in a better race than this when he was sent off an odds on favourite when he finished 2nd,and although he hasnt won since march 2012 ,this weaker race should help his confidence and with dave condon on board the gordon elliot horse who have a near 20% strike rate

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September Lingfield 3.30 - Mr Fitzroy (1pts win, 11/2 Bet365) An interesting contender in this one seeing as the drop in grade today is a big drop down the classes for this horse. He was last seen contesting a Goodwood class two handicap and although he was last of nine runners he only weakened late and against lesser horses here he may get away with it should the same situation arise. I feel his second before his last outing was a decent run and looks a better bit of form compared to some of the other runners he will be up against today.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 4.10 Beverley MAJESTIC DAWN @ 20/1 Betfred BOG ew.5 Second over CD off this mark early in the season, had to fight for the lead that day but should be ok today drawn in 3 with two sleepers on the inside. Ground and trip ideal and trainer in great form with two big hcap wins at Ayr last week. A big price at 20/1.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 220 Newton Abbot: Top Totti 7/4 PP/SJ Ordinary novice hurdle and Top Totti comes out clear best on my calculations. Her win at Chepstow over Fair Bramble is a decent effort and then bumped in to an in form horse at Market Rasen. Last time went handicapping but ran a bit flat although the form of that race has worked out. Had a break and back in her right grade and should resume winning ways.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September Ling 3.00 - Son of Feyan - EW at 100/1 with Skybet Taking a punt on a big priced one here He's had two runs in maidens. First time up ran green and finished 6th beaten 4 lengths Second time up he appeared to put in a worse run and finished last of 9 beaten 15 lengths. Again he ran green but kept on steadily at the finish. The form of that second run looks pretty hot - the winner has won twice since, the 3rd has won twice since, the 4th, 6th and 7th all won next time out Has had a good break of 6 weeks and comes back to a furlong longer race which should suit Not many 100 to 1 shots stand much of a chance and he'll probably be well beaten but I think it's worth a punt on the form of his last maiden race.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 15.40 Beverly: Borderlescott, 17/2 BetVictor, win Borderlescott has been running well this season. Two runs ago he finished third over c&d in the listed Beverly Bullet Stakes. If he runs up to that standard again he should go close.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September 18.50 Carlisle Day Of Destiny - 1PT Win 8/1 Bet365 Since Day Of Destiny's last victory at Southwell back in April over 1m 3f, he has been upped in class and ran in two Class 4 contests and two Class 5's, being placed in both of the former over 1m 2f. He's slightly higher in the weights than those two efforts but dropping back into Class 6 company and also in distance to 1m 1f 61yards puts him in with every chance.

Re: BBOTD - Tuesday 24th September C6.50 I'm Super Too e/w 12/1 Boylesports This jockey has won on his last 2 rides for the trainer and could go close again here tonight. The horse has only ever won at Hamilton, but this course has a very similar configuration (right handed, stiff, uphill). Two of the horses 4 wins were also over this trip and the horse is now racing off a low handicap mark so should be there or thereabouts.
