By way, great work, i love this forum, always good advice, especially in the English leagues. I really like the price on Atromitos to beat Aris on Sunday. Aris is a historical greek club and they are playing at home in a historical stadium, so the name only may have increased the price on their rivals. But the facts are that they have not won a single home game all season, they lost their last four games, two of which were against other candidates for regelation (where everyone thought that aris would bounce back). Now Aris is almost certainly regelated, in debt , and there are talks that they want to go down, so that some debts are reduced or something. Anyway, i think that if Aris were to bounce back, they would have done it already... On the other hand Atromitos is the third best team in greece (hurts to say that as a fan of Panathinaikos),they are very solid, usually winning smaller teams by 1 or 2 goals. In the last round they became the second team to get a point from olympiacos, with many chances during the game to take all 3. Pick: Atromitos(-0,5) 2.050 at bet365 (7/10)

Olympiacos tends to dominate at home, especially after a loss of points. After their last draw they crushed OFI with 5-1. Pick : Olympiakos (-2,5) 1,85 (6/10) Olympiakos (-3,5) 2,85 (3/10) both at bet365 Also i'm taking the draw on Platanias - OFI game since they both can't afford to lose this game, and usually in greece this means a draw. If the match reaches 60-70 and the score is 0-0, 1-1 i dont think any of the teams will risk to attack. The record of Platanias at home also indicates a draw (3-5-1) . Pick: Platanias-OFI X 3.1 at bet365 (3/10)

Re: Greece Super League 2013/2014 in crete today there is a game beetwen platanias and ergotelis. platanias has to win that game today because they cant lose more points.thye are at the 15th at the ranking and ergotelis 9th. both clubs have good relationship and this is the key! because platanias as i said needs the points! first game was 3-1 for ergotelis in heraklion. in my oponion the will halve the wins. ergotelis with 3 good missings : anastasakos (f 18/4) cardoso (amc 19/0) and romano (amc 19/2) best pick : platanias draw no bet 2nd way more risky :D platanias to win! my second pick is olympiakos today to win. olympiakos is playing with veria in veria's stadium but remember that today is 8/2 ! its the memorial of gate 7 and they wont lose. olympiakos is playing with rotation but but it has no matter....as and veria has a lot of missings so dont waist time... PICK: olympiakos to win with handicap -1 for olympiakos! thats from greece... good luck :cheers (sorry for my english...)

In the last few years, PAOK have been the more succesful club. I've looked back at the head to head record in this fixture, and Aris have won 2 and drawn 3 of the last 5 home derbies. Also, Aris's recent home form has improved - they've drawn 4 and won 1 of their last 5 home games. Recently, PAOK, while being in superb form at home, have had a bad run away, with only one point in the last five away games. With their better recent record in home derbies and improved home form, I wonder if there is some value in backing Aris at odds of 7.0?

Result: Aris 1 PAOK 1 Bet won :ok This one certainly lived to wikipedia's description of an 'intense rivalry' with two red cards, 10 yellow cards, a mass brawl before half time and the game being suspended in the second half when I think something was thrown from the crowd at one of the PAOK players. PAOK were easily the more skilful team, but Aris, driven on by the noisy home crowd, probably fought a bit harder. Defences were mostly on top, and I thought a draw was a fair result.

I noticed that too - and Asteras Tripolis are around 9.5 decimal (over 8/1) away to Veria. In both cases, it's a club in the relegation places at home to a club in the top 5. The away sides have already qualified for the end of season Champions League playoffs and the home sides will both be desparate to win. So the home sides need to win and the away sides don't. It might be that people think the home sides are much more likely to win. If these people are wrong, then it might be good value to back Panathaikos and Asteras Tripolis. I noticed Panathinaikos have won their last five games at Xanthi - but maybe today it will be different? Wouldn't touch any of these games today... Greece is getting as bad as Italy for massive swings in odds. This is the last round of the season for these teams and huge emphasis has been placed on the sides that "need" to win. It probably makes for better value on the away side but you wouldn't bet against some of these ties being pre determined.
