Re: 2013/14 Top 14 Brive Racing Metro Not going into too much detail on this but Brive have outperformed relative to general expectations and there are plenty of reasons for backing them here. They won 5/6 at home (losing to Biarritz last matchday) including the scalps of Castres (34-0) and Toulouse (25-13). They took a losing bonus at Racing in their opening match (19-15). Racing have spent a lot on quality but the team has no identity. They’ve been underwhelming so far and while their away form is not bad by the average in the league (a win and two bonus points from the six games), they are consistently overrated by the bookies, covering the spread only 23% of the time. Showed little guile in their European double vs Harlequins and took 0 match points from the two games. Walloped at Clermont before that where Brive took a bonus point. Am happy to back Brive here. Brive -3 @ 1.9

Re: 2013/14 Top 14 Racing / Toulon hello everyone, for this game i see a win for the racing cause they just comeback from brive with a narrow win, thats a good perform because with a bad weather y a good team of brive. racing have no time to loose now, they have obligatory need the victory against toulon if not it will be a real deception for the season. this week the president lorenzetti had a good pressure on his team during training session. On the other part toulon is such of confidence after a strong win against montpellier, so difference will be close between the 2 teams. i remember that in the start of this season toulon crush racing at mayol by 40 pts, so revenge is in the air. Racing @ 1.6

Re: 2013/14 Top 14 Oyonnax/Racing hello everyone, for start the new year, i will propose a win for racing at oyonnax because apparently racing have find a defense on the game against toulon, and a really really good lineout, so the difference in oyonnax will be in the win of the rucks and with the flanker they have in their team i think racing are better. Second point is that the 10 of oyonnax Ben Urdapilleta who is one of the most accurent kicker in top 14 are injury for 6 weeks, so its a big loss for oyonnax. Racing @ 2,30

Re: 2013/14 Top 14 Bordeaux Clermont Bordeaux are another team I enjoy backing because they’re good to watch and score some wonder tries, especially the magical Talebula. They were expected to struggle this season but plenty of try bonus points at home along with winning at Biarritz has them in a comfortable mid-table position. A few punters speculatively backed Montpellier to win last week at Stade Marcel Michelin. Despite the absence of most props and a red card to Parra half an hour in, Clermont still brushed them aside in an awesome 42-16 win. Do think they’re a good shout for more silverware this year. Fritz Lee has been immense since he signed for them and they’ve taken plenty of points way from home, which counts for a lot in this competition. Bordeaux have a strong record at home with the metronomic Bernard taking points where they’re offered. They’ve an average home 1^st half cap of -7.5 to Clermont’s away 1^st cap of +4.5. The trend reverses in the second when Clermont’s bench begins to tell. Clermont have had Bordeaux’ number in the last four meeting at all venues but with their ongoing injuries (wouldn’t call it a crisis) I think Bordeaux can go in at the break in front by a score. Bordeaux 1^st half handicap -2 @ 1.91

Re: 2013/14 Top 14 im completely agree with you, i will take bordeaux win at 1.7, clermont is a monster with talent in any position but this year bordeaux has add an other thing in his game its the powerful in the pack with player like Marais, Jaulhac.. so its a team more complete than in the past. and clearly if they beat clermont today they will play for qualification and they ll be for sure not concern in relegation so today its the day for them. and the big stadium chaban delmas will be full.
