Speaking as a FC Twente fan, it's a risky game tbh. Cambuur has proven itself at home, drawing PSV 1-1. FC Twente beat FC Groningen last week with 5-0 but lost the midweek cup game from SC Heerenveen with 3-0 playing away. It could go all the ways, I think the best bet for this game is over 2,5 Goals

I rarely if ever watch (I plan to change that this year) the Dutch league but I watched Twente win last sunday, Cambuur seems a newly promoted team as I've never heard of them before this season, and they will a struggle against a very good Twente side. They have conceded very few goals so they should just bide their time to open the score and maybe cover the -1.5.

Roda JC - Zwolle Roda JC has lost their edge of the begin of the league. Momentum is totally not with them at the moment. Not only the lack of points but also the amount of goals of late they shipped in. Also teamnews is not in favour of the home team. Monteyne and de Beule are injured, both defenders. Dijkhuizen played in defense (as a midfielder) instead, but he's suspended again. Doubtful is captain Fledderus with a groinproblem. Huge miss if he's out. Zwolle was never in 7th heaven when they were topping the table. They even stayed with their goal to not relegate. But secretly internally their goal is play offs. Benson is back from injury and is important for the way they play. They play the best passing game of the league and are pushing really forward because of the weak Roda defense. I see this topic is pretty much dead so why not start it again, Dutch league is a wonderful league for betting with a tradition of very strong home sides. Feyenoord,Ajax and PSV rarely let you down in a home game. But others like Groningen,Heerenveen,Twente,AZ have a very strong home reputation. For the next playround games I recommend: Heerenveen - Vitesse Result: 1. @ 2,1 if you are new to the league and not sure a handicap is not a bad idea. Heerenveen are traditionally with the top 3 one of the strongest home sides. With finbogasson they have a top striker. AZ Alkmaar - Cambuur Result 1 @ 1.5. Cambuur is a promoted side and lacks quality to perform well in the league. Az is very strong at home and is desperate for a win. The last one being for those who enjoy a gamble: Groningen - PSV result 1 @ 4.5. Groningen is traditionally a very strong home side this season they lost at home with alot of bad luck 0-1 to Twente and drew Ajax 1-1. Groningen just beat quality side AZ at home this weekend and PSV barely managed a home win over RKC who are one of the poorest sides in the league. A handicap is ofcourse mandatory but you can still get a decent quote with one. I feel a suprise is possible here. The rest I would not recommend. Good luck.

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2013/14 At the moment I can fully recommend the Dutch Eredivisie league as a league with alot of good value. This season anyone beats anyone and we are getting some really suprising results and corresponding great odds for predictable suprises. My recommended pick this weekend is a bet against my own team, Feyenoord. We are playing Cambuur Leeuwarden away and have a history of problems with the tough home sides in the north of the country.Key aspect to this bet is that our topscorer Pelle is suspended and he is the only one who can make goals for our Team. He has 10 goals in 11 matches and the guys who come after him only have one or two goals. The replacing strikers are really crap, a player on loan who was send away at Anderlecht and a 20 year old youth team striker with no eredivisie experience. I expect us to make one goal at best. The team and the tactics were build on Pelle. Yesterday he was not playing and we had a very lucky 3-0 win in an awful peformance against an amateur club in the Dutch cup. In the past weekend we lost at home to Heracles Almelo 1-2 who are of the same quality as Cambuur and then we even had Pelle. Cambuur plays with their heart and just defeated nac breda at home in the Dutch cup and are in a good mood and form. I expect no result a loss here for us so: Cambuur Leeuwarden - Feyenoord: Result Cambuur win @ 3.8 Betvictor.

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2013/14 Unfortunate, the win was not deserved at all Cambuur had the better of the game for the first half and most of the second half but could not get the opening goal. This league has gone beserk and it is becoming harder to predict anything. PSV drew Zwolle at home who are an overrated promoted side and Ajax lost to Vitesse at home and Twente drew the relegation candidate NEC at home. Everything goes against logic in this league at the moment. Hope we can catch on to that a bit next week. So far AZ seems the only stable team under the best coach in the league Dick Advocaat, He coached Zenith to a Euro league win and Russia into the EC semi finals. I think for stability choose AZ, the other teams will probably keep their instability. Funnily enough next week it is Feyenoord - AZ, Pelle will still be suspended. I can't imagine we repeat this trick twice our play was too poor to deserve a win. If no shocking injuries happen this week I will most likely take another bet against my own team, hate to do it but I don't think we will be lucky twice. Let's preview in a few days.

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2013/14 This Sunday it's PEC Zwolle to go for in the Eredivisie. The club from Zwolle visited PSV Eindhoven last weekend and they played really well. The team conceded a goal after just 3 minutes of playing, but they didn't seem very upset and made the equalizer 20 minutes later. At home they are very strong, and it might be because they play on artificial grass. It suits their style of play perfect. They like to move the ball around and with their midfielders Klich and Mokotjo they some very creative players that do their defensive work too. Especially Mokotjo is very important. Saymak is a big prospect for the future and he's playing better and better on when playing behind the strikers, which is the case now that Jesper Drost, another hot prospect from PEC, is injured. The defense is pretty solid and is a good mix of talent (Darryl Lachman might as well be a contender for the Dutch national team central defense in the future) and experience (for Dutch concepts he is experienced). FC Twente on the other hand aren't playing their best football. Last week it gave away a 2-0 lead at home against bottom-placed NEC Nijmegen. The match ended in 2-2 and it's not the first time they're giving it away. They are title candidates though and just as with PEC Zwolle, their best players are situated in midfield. So the battle on the midfield is the most important one of the game, but PEC Zwolle is flying high, while the atmosphere at FC Twente has been much, much better. Twente hasn't one three games in a row now, with two draws and a loss. It conceded six goals in their last three matches. PEC doesn't ship their goals either, but they lost just one of their last seven games and outplayed PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam away (though they lost against Ajax 2-1 due to personal mistakes). At home PEC Zwolle already defeated another title candidate, Feyenoord Rotterdam. Value is on PEC Zwolle. Remember the name and keep an eye on them when you're looking for some bets with value. I have to say the Eredivisie is crazy nowadays, there is no real distinction between big clubs and the ones beneath them. Really anybody can win from anybody so it's harder to predict. But there are some matches that have value on them.

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2013/14 If you can get Vitesse @ 1.90 tomorrow I'd say go for it at medium stakes. Go Ahead Eagles are still undefeated at home, but truth is on paper they are one of the worst teams in the league. I think they are doing well atm because there is no pressure yet. When it's getting tough, the nerves will get to them. Tomorrow might be that match, Vitesse are keen to prove that it is not coincidence that they occupy the first place. 1.90 for Vitesse is decent. Will be tough tho. Also again there might be some value on PEC Zwolle, but 'm not sure. Groningen has always been hard to beat voor the 'Bluefingers'. Odds are tasty though, so I'm considering a handicap. But this match could really go either way. All the other games are no bets for me. The Eredivisie is very inconsistent at the moment. But every match has the potential of a high scoring game considering the defensive frailties every team is dealing with.
