jonnywoods
I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere, please help! In a twenty20 match where I've bet on a Yorkshire win, and it's finished in a tie, is the bet void?

The Saint
Half the stake, not half the odds!
Alienated In The UK
Depends if it was in a market with 'tie' as an option. But yeah its half the stake, so 50 at evens, returns you 50. Sent from my C6603 using PL Forum
jonnywoods
Re: Tie betting rule?? Ok, this was part of a treble and the other 2 bets won. So does that mean I lost half the stake and won the other half? Ok, someone please explain it to me like I'm an idiot! Odds were 6/5 (won), 13/8 (won), and the cricket bet was 5/4. £10 stake. What am I on?
The Saint
So your £10 on the 6/5 shot wins £12. £22 on the 13/8 wins £35.75 so you have a total of 57.75 going on to the 5/4 dead heat. Half your stake goes is lost and the other half goes on at 5/4. So £28.875 @ 5/4 is a return of £64.97. If your lucky the bookie will balls it up but certainly don't accept less than that! This is of course on the proviso that no tie odds were offered cos if they were then your bet is a loser :( Good Luck

jonnywoods
Re: Tie betting rule?? I did bet with Ladbrokes. So I presume I should pick up the £64.97 like 'The Saint' said?
