Qualifying According to the bookies it’s a three horse race for pole position, as it was in Canada, with Vettel just edging favouritism at around the 2/1 mark, it’s difficult to argue the case for anyone else if the weather forecast is correct and it stays dry although Webber is just about value at 8/1. Hamilton will be pumped up being at his home Grand Prix and that might just give him the edge over his team mate Rosberg at the end of the day, but it will be close I’m sure of that. British Grand Prix Mercedes are obviously the quicker outfit here and it’s just a question of how long will their tyres last, I’m prepared to take a chance on Hamilton, mainly because Rosberg is with him to make it difficult for Red Bull, it wont be as easy as Monaco where they dictated a slow pace but hopefully the Brit can poach an early lead and the crowd will bring him home. He’s decent value at 7/2 and worth the risk this time. Daniel Ricciardo has been doing plenty of laps in practice and qualified well, he can be backed to finish in the top six. In the points market Jean-Eric Vergne has been driving well and is odds against which seems value with one or two loose cannon’s ahead of him like Grosjean and Sutil. Selections: 2pts L.Hamilton 7/2
