Re: The Single Life 1-1 FIORENTINA :( , conceded in the 89th . MONACO 1-0 up at h-t. Later on over in Holland [15:30 ] we have UTRECHT taking on WAALWIJK in a fixture that has seen the home side win 11 from 11 . UTRECHT have not wilted after a 6-0 away drubbing to TWENTE 3 games ago and bounced back to beat AZ at home and an away draw against current leaders ZWOLLE. UTRECHT are generally strong at home , 41-25-19 in the lat 5 season's WAALWIJK have yo-yo'd between the top 2 league's in Holland over the last few season's , mainly due to poor away form .They have been in the EREDIVISE 3 season's from the past 5 and have an away record of 7-9-35. Here's a preview from DutchFootball-League.com - [h=2]FC Utrecht vs RKC Waalwijk[/h] FC Utrecht are showing signs of improvements, AZ was beaten 2-0 and the league leaders PEC Zwolle were hold to a draw. More goods news arose as striker Jacob Mulenga will remain for another season at FC Utrecht. RKC Waalwijk started off well but their performances are dipping. The most result defeat was against Go Ahead Eagles 1-4. Koeman’s side had a complete off-day and was crushed by a fresh and attacking Eagles side. Taking all into account i think the 1.9 on offer from Betfair sportsbook is worth taking . The stake will be dependant on the MONACO result

Re: The Single Life Saturday see's CELTIC take on ST JOHNSTONE in a fixture which has seen the Glasgow side win 12 of the last 14 corresponding fixture [also won 2 cup-ties at Parkhead] Wednesday loss to AC MILAN in the Champions league was no disgrace as CELTIC were on top for a fair slice of the game only to lose an OG with 10mins to go. Unsurprisingly CELTIC have lost only 4 games at home in the past 3 season's. This season they have won once and drawn once at home , the draw was v ICT who are on a rich vein of form , 5-1-0 , and sit on top of the table 3pts in front of CELTIC.....which should be an incentive in inself . ST JOHNSTONE have played 3 aways this season and have yet to win , 0-2-1 scoring 0 . Although some teams form amy suffer after a mid-week European match i think i would have been more wary of CELTIC if they had managed a point or 3 on WEDS . The added incentive of possibly overtaking ICT at the top of the SPL should ensure a home win here at what i consider good odds. Stake 25.84pts @ 1.41 on CELTIC .

Re: The Single Life Whatever the result of the afternoon game in the SPL the next bet will be a 10pt win on SPORTING LISBON who will be attempting to eztend their winning sequence against RIO AVE at home to 7 from 8. Last season was poor by SPORTING's usual standard in which they only finished 7th and out of European competition . This season has seen them appear to fight back as they sit in 3rd place only 2pts behind PORTO and BRAGA . They have scored 12 and conceded only 2 goals in 4 match's with a record of 4-1-0 , the draw being against BENFICA in a game where , stats wise they dominated play. Their 3 wins have been against sides in 8th , 12th and 13th in the table , RIO AVE are currently sitting in 10th whose 2 wins this season have been against the teams in 14th and 15th [16 team league]. Stake 10pts on SPORTING @ 1.40

Re: The Single Life Great thread.. What sort of profit target are you setting for a year (season) of this? A bet that might have slipped your radar is in my Mexican league America vs Chiapas @ 1.40. America have been brilliant for the past 6 months, especially at home, whilst my team Jaguares (Chiapas) have been incredibly poor on the road. Not to mention America are 3/3 at home to Jaguares for the past few years. Anyway keep up the updates

Re: The Single Life Sunday ..and the bet today is NICE to win at home to VALLENCE . That has been the outcome in this fixture in 6 of the last 7 corresponding meetings , indeed VALLENCE find it hard to even score a goal at NICE with only netting twice [in the same game] in those 7 fixtures whilst conceding 15 . NICE are in mid-table [10th] but 8 places above VALLENCE and have won 1 and drawn 1 at home . VALLENCE are proving to be dodgy away from home this season , losing to BASTIA [8th] and LORIENT [14th]. Further strength is given to MEATMANS preview of this fixture [ for those who don't know MM is THE tipster to read on French football , always worth taking his opinion into account before having a bet] and here is his preview - Nice – Valenciennes There are no new problems for Nice here. Midfielder Mahamane Traore and winger Valentin Eysseric are still injured, but there are no other absences of note. Valenciennes’ situation has also improved recently. A few weeks ago they had loads of players in their infirmary, but now a number of players are fit again. The only real two notable players ruled out here are defender Loris Nery and attacker Bahebeck. The latter has been missed because he started the season with some real energy. Good news for VA is that key striker Gregory Pujol is back fit again, although how long until the next injury hits him remains to be seen. This will be the first ever match played at Nice’s new stadium, the Allianz Riviera. Obviously, this is a massive occasion for the club and all of their players will be exceptionally motivated to perform well and get victory. They might not need to break too much sweat to get all 3 points though because Valenciennes are a pretty awful team at the moment. They have followed up an opening day win against Toulouse with 4 consecutive defeats and clearly they have plenty of issues at the moment. They can’t score goals, they can’t keep clean sheets and not much seems to be going their way. A few players are still trying to integrate into the squad too which is taking some time. There are plenty of factors in Nice’s favour ahead of this game and I expect them to claim all 3 points comfortably. Last year, this fixture ended 5-0 and I couldn’t rule out a similar scoreline. Nice look to be in a decent rhythm right now, their win at Lille last week proves this. They have too much class and quality for VA and I have no hesitation in backing them -0.75. I think the odds on offer are sound and as the thread is in decent health i'm upping the initial satke to 15pts pts which will be going onto NICE @ 1.80 [Wm Hill]

Re: The Single Life Tomorrow [Thursday] see's INTER MILAN take on FIORENTINA when the home side will be hoping to extent their recent h2h record in this fixture to 13-0-1. These 2 are level on 10points in 3rd and 4th respectively , both 3-1-0 so far. INTER slammed new boys SASSUOLO 7-0 over the weekend , after a fairly respectable 1-1 draw at home to JUVENTUS with DIEGO MILITO scoring twice on his comeback after a 7 month absence. INTER look like starting with a full strength side . FIORENTINA have had a good start but lost MARIO GOMEZ to injury against CAGLIARI [where they lost an 89th min goal] as well as having playmaker PIZZARO red-carded for which he miss's this game. They have managed a win in the EUROPA [v Ferriera ] and away to ATALANTA last weekend but INTER should be a different kettle of fish . I have watched them twice this season , they been selections in both , and i'm not convinced their defence is up to the job of keeping a clean sheet against quality sides. Stake 27pts @ 2.10

Re: The Single Life Hey buddy, Your results are incredible.. What is your secret? Or how do you decide which games to go for? 40 wins from 53 (nearly 4/5) correct is top form and it surely can't be all down to luck? I mean, from the games between Nice and Inter there was a 3 day gap (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).. Now going from your h2h and I assume going for home favourites (between @1.4 to @2.1).. During that time I trialed the following games.. Honka 3-3 JJK @1.4 (2nd place Honka are 33 points ahead of JJK and won the past 2 home games against them.. Although their record before that isn't great) Pacos 1-1 Vitoria Setubal @1.85 (Pacos were 8-0-0 for previous h2h home games against Vitoria but in poor form) Real Cartagena 1-2 Deportivo Pereira @1.4 (Real Cartagena were 2nd, had the chance to go top against 7th place Depor.. Plus a previous home h2h of 3-2-0) CSKA Moscow 0-0 Anzhi @1.4 (CSKA were 4-1-0 in h2h since Anzhi came back to the top flight plus Anzhi are pretty much in turmoil) I mean why did you miss these fixtures off? I only trialed these games and did I just select an unlucky batch? Do you pay attention to recent form?.. Example Honka and Real Cartagena are in decent form but Pacos are in poor form (but with a brilliant h2h).. Once again, you've got a great system going but it seems like there is more to just throwing together teams with a decent h2h or teams that you'd expect to win the game..

Re: The Single Life Thanks for your comments Bris Vegas , in reply to your question about how i left off those games ....well , simply put , while the main Euro leagues are running i don't look at the Scandinavian leagues or Russian for that matter at all. I never look at any lower league in ANY country so that takes care of the Spanish question.. To be quite honest i missed the Portugese match but as you noticed , while the h2h's were strong , the form of PACO this season was very poor with no points gained from 4 games inc 2 at home until that draw. So basically i concentrate on only the Top league's in the main European countries and as well as h2h's being strong the home form must be strong while the away teams form must be questionable for a selection to be made. I'll add that any game where the home team's odd's are below 1.25 are usually ignored .

Re: The Single Life Starting Bank 100pts Current Bank 277.48pts Selections - 52 Wins - 39 Lost - 16 Stake returned - 2 Decided to bank the winnings from those last 2 bets as the odds were both in the top end . Saturday - BAYER LEVERKUSEN have won the last 6 from 6 corresponding fixtures. BAYER have on all 3 home match's this season and are currently in 3rd place in the Bundesiga albeit only one place above HANNOVER in 4th . HANNOVER have done all their winning at home [4-0-0] , whilst losing twice away from home to BAYERN MUNICH and WOLFSBURG , [and their last win at home was courtesy of a penalty in the 89th min !] The last 2 seasons have been expensive for HANNOVER when playing away as they have won only 6 times from 34 games . BAYER have CL duties mid-week but they seem to be coping well in the league as they won before and after their 4-2 defeat at Old Trafford. It seems to be generally accepted that coach Sami Hyypia is rotating the squad well and this looks a decent chance of another 3pts against a side they have a good recent record . Stake 15pts on BAYER LEVERKUSEN @ 1.40 [betfair]

Re: The Single Life Whatever the result of the LEVERKUSEN match the next bet will be UTRECHT to beat RODA at home which they have done in 11 games from the past 15 [other 4 were draws ] UTRECHT [14th] caused us a bit of concern last time they had the cash on they but they held fast and came through 2-1. The are 2-1-0 at home so far beating Waalwijk [16th] and Alkmaar [9th] while drawing with GA Eagles [11th] . UTRECHT are generally pretty strong at home , losing mainly to better side's than RODA. They should have C Van Der Gun [forward] back in their line-up to help bolster the attack. RODA are on the same points as UTRECHT but their away form [as usual] is something which is a worry [ loss's to AJAX and FEYENOORD so far ] winning only against 2nd bottom side DEN HAAG. More importantly is the fact they will be missing their regular right-back after he was sent off in their narrow 2-1 win over an amateur side last time out. The odds are going down , 1.72 is the norm , although 1.83 is available still from Coral's and Wm Hill . As the stake is reliant on the German result let's hope the 1.83 is still available after the final whistle there.

Re: The Single Life Well what can you say ...3-3 with UTRECHT managing 3 goals from 4 shots on target while RODA had 12 shots on target with 61% possession ..!! Lets hope TWENTE can get us back on track on Sunday as they have a 8-0-0 home record v Groningen TWENTE are only 1pt in front of Groningen in the league but it's Groningen's away form which , when coupled with the h2h's , point toward an another home victory here. 1-1-2 so far with the sole win coming against Bottom club Nijmegen , drawing with 15th placed GA Eagles and lost to Heereveen [6th] and Cambuur [12th] They have regular defender Letschert out through suspension . Stake 15pts on TWENTE @ 1.40 [coral]

Re: The Single Life Hey JTW, quality thread, I've been watching it for a while. What do you think about Besiktas @ around evens tonight away at Antalyaspor? Statistically they would qualify for a bet because they have won 14 of the last 15 meetings between the sides. Besiktas have four wins from four this season and Antalyaspor are bottom without a win in their first 5. HOWEVER they did lose this fixture in a cup game last season and the Antalyaspor were very strong at home last season so it could be a risky one. Personally I wouldn't go for it as Antalyaspor historically only lose 4 or 5 home games in the last few seasons. I think your high strike rate is partly because you only usually take home games against weaker opposition.

Great Job! What about Fiorentina - Parma today?
Fiorentina have a tendency to concede at least once esp at home , see Catania and Cagliari match's. I watched those 2 games and they didn't inspire confidence at the back. Also PARMA have lost 2 games from 6 played but one of those was v leaders ROMA . and as i type PARMA take the lead !!!

BESIKTAS were playing AWAY and that's why they were not considered .
