kevshat
Re: Super League 2013 - Round 17 Friday preview: 4pts Hull FC to beat Leeds 11/10 William Hill Leeds have had a pretty punishing schedule in recent times and they would need a superhuman effort not to tire physically at some point in this match. Hull FC are pretty fresh and they played 24hrs before Leeds last week so have had the extra recovery time. I like the way the Black and Whites are going this season. They have power in their pack and explosion in the backs and at odds against they look a fair bet against a Leeds side who have to be a bit weary. kevshat
Re: Super League 2013 - Round 17 One for me this afternoon. 5pts Wigan (-22) to beat Wakefield 10/11 Boylesports Wakefield go into this match without an awful lot of players, good players too but particularly their half back pairing of Tim Smith and Paul Sykes and they are massive losses both to their creativity and more importantly their kicking game as the one thing you need if you are going to compete with this rampant Wigan side is good field position. You also have to turn them around else the pace and power with which they come at you with will take its toll. Wigan have try scorers all over the pitch and they are playing with some serious confidence and in these conditions you would think they will throw the ball around at will and if they get off to a fast start this could get pretty ugly for a beaten up Wakefield side with injuries. Wakefield's defence last week was blown apart by Justin Carney and the likes of Richards, Tomkins, Charnley and Goulding will be eyeing that up with glee this afternoon. A four score handicap on the road is often big but on this occasion it could just be 10 or so too few.
kevshat
Re: Super League 2013 - Round 17 Monday night preview: 3pts St Helens to beat Huddersfield 15/8 Stan James I think St Helens have been written off way too soon here. They are a completely different animal with James Roby in their side and with Paul Wellens around. Saints have struggled in the halves this season so the signing of Gareth O’Brien looks a good one and I think they are a big price. Huddersfield are going well at the minute but one or two injuries at starting to show the odd crack or two. This should be a cracking match but at the prices it is St Helens for me.
