Re: smith17's Thread 2.05 Haydock: Jack Luey, 12/1 William Hill, e/w Jack Luey finished 12th of 15 lto but he was hampered at the start and never really got going. He ran well before that when he finished third in a similar handicap to today's off today's mark. The more rain that comes the better but he does go well on anything up to good. The trip is ideal. Raul Da Silva takes off a valuable three pounds. 3.15 Haydock: Clowance Estate, 14/1 Boylesports, e/w Clowance Estate finished third lto in a strong handicap at Newmarket. He runs from the same mark again today and, with conditions to suit he should go close. This is just his sixth run so he could improve a bit more. Trainer Roger Charlton is in good form and he has a solid record at Haydock. Graham Lee is in the saddle. 1.55 Ascot: Redvers, 12/1 Boylesports, e/w Posted this before his last run;

15.15 Ascot: Redvers, 12/1 Paddy Power, e/w (1/4, 12345) Redvers finished fifth lto in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket. He didn't have the clearest of runs that day but once he was in the clear he finished well. The same could be said of his run before that when he finished seventh in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. He runs from the same mark as those two races today and he should be capable of winning off it. He has a good record at Ascot running here three times all over today's distance. He won the Longines handicap at this meeting last year, finished fifth in a 26 runner apprentice handicap at the end of last season and finished fourth in the Victoria Cup at the start of this season. Today's ground will suit. The booking of Richard Hughes to ride is eyecatching and his style should be perfect for this horse.
He was a bit disappointing that day, finishing 11th, 5L behind the winner. However, I think he can win off his current mark so I'm willing to give him another chance. The ground and trip will suit. Trainer Ed Vaughan is in good form and Richard Kingscote is in the saddle. 3.30 Ascot: Excellent Result, 16/1 Bet365, e/w Execellent Result ran over c&d lto when he finished a 3L seventh. He was always prominent and went to the lead 2f out. He was headed inside the final furlong but it was a very good run considering he was so keen in the early stages. He has had a bit of a break since then which should have freshened him up. The ground will suit. Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor is in decent form and Robert Winston is in the saddle. 5.10 Ascot: Rylee Mooch, 14/1 Bet365, e/w Rylee Mooch hasn't won since November last year but he has been in his best form recently since then and he could be winning sooner rather then later. Three runs ago he finished a ¼L third in a similar handicap at Ripon. He followed that up with a ½L second at Ayr. He ran off today's mark lto when he was a 1L fourth at Newmarket. With a good five pound claimer back on board today he should go close. The ground and trip will suit. Trainer Richard Guest is in decent form and Philip Prince is in the saddle. 2.20 Kempton: Royal Empire, 10/3 Betfred, win Royal Empire won well lto in a group 3 at Newbury. He has to carry a three pound penalty for that win but he seems to be still improving and can take this before moving onto bigger things. He has won on the a/w at Kempton before so that won't be a problem and the trip will be ideal. Trainer Saeed Bin Surror is in decent form and he has a great record at Kempton. Silvestre De Sousa is in the saddle. 5.45 Leopardstown: Kenhope, 4/1 Bet365, win Kenhope finished a 2½L third to Elusive Kate lto, with Duntle a short head in front in second. Before that she finished second in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot. If she runs up to that standard today she should go very close. Trainer Henri Alex Pantall is in good form and he sends just one horse over from France today. Thierry Jarnet travels over for this one ride. He has been on board for all but two of Kenhope's runs. 6.50 Leopardstown: Al Kazeem, 5/2 Betfred, win Al Kazeem finished 2¾L behind the re-opposing Declaration Of War lto. That was on good to firm ground which didn't suit AK and with the ground expected to be a lot more suitable today he should reverse that form. Trainer Roger Charltonis in good form and he sends just one horse over today. He has sent 12 runners over in the last five years and he has returned with 4 winners. James Doyle travels over for this one ride.

Re: smith17's Thread 3.00 Doncaster: Borderlescott, 8/1 Paddy Power, win Borderlescott showed he still retained plenty of ability when he finished a close third in the Beverly Bullet lto. There is plenty of early pace in the race and it should be set up perfectly for the veteran to swoop late. The ground will suit. Paul Mulrennan keeps the ride having been on board lto. 4.10 Doncaster: Gatewood, 3/1 Boylesports, win Gatewood's last victory was in the group 3 Geelong Cup in October last year. He has been highly tried since, with his last three runs in group 1 company. This is his first run since returning to John Gosden's stable after a stint in Australia. If he runs to the same level of form that he showed before leaving he will go very close. Trainer John Gosden's last three runners have all won. He has a good record at Doncaster and this is his only runner at the Yorkshire track today. The in-form William Buick is in the saddle and he also has a good record at Donny. He has won on this horse 4 times from 6 rides. 4.45 Doncaster: Regal Dan, 17/2 BetVictor, win Regal Dan ran well lto to finish third in a strong handicap at Glorious Goodwood. He was held up and started to make progress 1f out. He ran on well but was given too much to do and finished 2L behind the winner. He runs from the same mark again today and he should go close. Trainer Charlie Hills is in decent form and he has a good record at Doncaster. Ryan Moore is a big plus in the saddle. 5.15 Doncaster: Rylee Mooch, 20/1 William Hill, e/w Posted this before his last run four days ago;

He ran quite well to finish seventh. He drops in class and he has got a good draw. The ground should suit. Martin Harley takes over from Philip Prince in the saddle. If he has gotten over that run he should go well.

Re: smith17's Thread Another poor day yesterday. Love Island was a non runner. Bets: 214 Profitable: 38 S/R: 18% Staked: 221 Returned: 207.21 P/L: -13.79pts 1.40 Doncaster: Sleeper King, 6/1 Boylesports, win Posted this before his last run;

Sleeper King ran well lto' date=' finishing fourth in the group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. The ground was bit on the slow side for him and a return to good to firm ground should see an improved run. He also steps up in trip by a furlong which should suit. Trainer Kevin Ryan teamed up with Phil Makin to win this for the past two years and I think they have a strong chance of completing a hat trick.[/quote'] He ran well to finish fourth 2¼L behind the winner, Haikbidiac. He was about ¼L behind the re-opposing Thunder Strike. Today's ground will suit SK more than TS and he should reverse that form. He drops back to the minumum trip which will suit. Trainer Kevin Ryan is in decent form and James Doyle is a good booking to ride. 2.10 Doncaster: Tropical Beat, 5/1 Bet365, win Tropical Beat finished second lto over today's distance, beaten 2½L by Party Line who ran well nto. That was his first run of the season and first run since joining David O'Meara's stable so he should come on bit for that. He is unexposed at this distance, having finished second in his two attempts at this trip. The ground will suit as he goes on anything. O'Meara is in good form and Danny Tudhope is in the saddle. 2.40 Doncaster: Times Up, 5/2 Bet365, win Times Up finished third in the group 2 Lonsdale Cup lto. He won this race last year and with conditions to suit he should go close again this year. Trainer Ed Dunlop is in decent form and Ryan Moore is a huge plus in the saddle. 3.15 Doncaster: Qawaasem, 4/1 Betfred, win Posted this before her last run; She finished second, 2½L behind Amazing Maria, and 3¼L behind the re-opposing Halljoy. Going on a line through Midnite Angel she could have the beating of today's short priced favourite. The ground should also favour Qawaasem more than Ihtimal. Trainer Charlie Hills is in decent form and Paul Hanagan is in the saddle. 4.25 Doncaster: Corporal Maddox, 9/1 Bet365, win Corporal Maddox finished second lto on good to soft ground at Haydock off today's mark. Before that he won a 23 runner handicap at The Curragh, whe he finished with an eye catching late run to win by ¾L. He steps up in class today but as he is in such good heart at the moment he should be able to take it in his stride and he should go close today. Jockey Oisin Murphy offers good value for his seven pound claim. 5.00 Doncaster: Amralah, 9/2 Bet365, win Amralah finished third lto in his first run in a handicap, 3L behind the winner. The ground was a bit fast for him that day and today's ground will suit a lot more. That was his first run of the season and he should come on a lot for that. He steps up in trip by 2f which should suit going by his sire's stats. Silvestre De Sousa is a very good booking to ride. 3.05 Sandown: Breden, 11/2 Paddy Power, win Breden was a beaten favourite lto but I think something must have been wrong with him that day as he has improved with each run and I think there is still more to come. Ignoring that run, he won on his handicap debut off a mark of 82 (jockey was one pound over) at Newmarket. He finished a short head in front of Top Notch Tonto who won a group 3 by over 2L nto. The grouns should suit. Trainer John Gosden is in good form. William Buick travels to Sandown instead of Doncaster for just two rides.

Re: smith17's Thread 2.05 Doncaster: Outstrip, 9/4 Coral, win Outstrip was beaten just a neck lto by the potentially top class Toormore. That was a great run considering it was just his second run and he should improve a bit more today which should be enough to take this. The ground and trip will suit. Trainer Charlie Appleby is in good form and Mikael Barzalona is in the saddle. 2.40 Doncaster: Racy, 18/1 BetVictor, e/w Racy has run well in a few of these big handicaps this summer. He finished secodn in the Scottish Sprint Cup, beaten just a head by Kingsgate Native. He finished second in a strong handicap at Ascot in July and followed that up with a fourth in the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood. With Ryan Moore booked and his trainer in good form, a big run is expected. 3.15 Doncaster: Gregorian, 7/2 Betfred, win Gregorian won the group 2 Hungerford Stakes at Newbury lto. He finished 1½L ahead of the previously unbeaten Soft Falling Rain. He won over c&d on his only visit to Doncaster. The ground will be ideal. Trainer John Gosden is in decent form and William Buick is in the saddle. 3.50 Doncaster: Talent, 10/1 Coral, win Talent won the Oaks at Epsom two runs ago in great style. She was held up and came with a great late run to win by nearly 4L. She steps up in trip but the way she finished that day she should be able to handle the extra two furlongs. She was disappointing lto but something must have been amiss as she never got going. The ground will suit. Trainer Ralph Beckett is in decent form and he has a good record at Doncaster. Jim Crowley is in the saddle. 2.55 Chester: Cubanita, 4/1 Boylesports, win Cubanita finished third in a group 3 lto at Cork, beaten less than ½L. She started the season a bit disappointingly finishing fifth in the Middleton Stakes at Doncaster. She ended last season winning a listed race, finishing ½L ahead of the subsequent dual group 2 and dual group 1 winning Sajjhaa. If she runs up to that standard she should go very close to winning today. Trainer Ralph Beckett is in decent form and Martin Lane is in the saddle. 2.25 Curragh: Artistic Jewel, 15/2 Stan James, win Artistic Jewel has won both of her starts this season, both in listed company. She deserves her crack at group 3 level and I think she could be good enough to go close. The ground will suit. Trainer Ed McMahon is in decent form and he has had 1 winner (at The Curragh) from just 2 runners in Ireland. Sean Levey is in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread 3.50 Curragh: Ahzeemah, 6/1 Boylesports, win Ahzeemah won the Lonsdale Cup lto at York. He drops backs in trip by 2f but that shouldn't be a problem as he has a decent turn of foot. He always gives his running, you have to go back to June 2012 to see him outside the first two and if he puts in a similar performance to lto he will go very close today. Trainer Saeed Bin Surror is in decent form and he sends just one horse over to Ireland today. Silvestre De Sousa is a big plus in the saddle and he travels over for this one ride. 4.25 Curragh: Sudirman, 11/4 Boylesports, win Sudirman won a group 1 lto over 6f at this track. Before that he won a group 2 over the same c&d. He steps up in trip by a furlong which should suit as he finished both those races strongly. He also gets similar ground today as he got in both of those races. Trainer David Wachman is in good form and Wayne Lordan is in the saddle. 3.10 Longchamp: Dunaden, 6/1 Boylesports, win Dunaden finished a 1½L second to the top class Novellist lto in a group 1 at Saint Cloud. He has some very good form in top class company and he should go close. Today's trip is ideal and the ground will suit. Orfevre is the stand out horse in the race but he hasn't run since March and might need this.

Re: smith17's Thread 17.10 Listowel: Jacksonslady, 9/1 Bet365, e/w & Muirhead, 16/1 Paddy Power, e/w (1/4, 12345) & Chartreux, 16/1 Bet365, e/w Posted this about Jacksonslady and Muirhead last run in the Galway Plate;

5.30 Galway: Muirhead, 18/1 Bet365, e/w & Jacksonslady, 14/1 Bet365, e/w (1/4, 12345) Muirhead finished fourth in the Gold Cup Chase at Sandown back in April, his second last run. It was a cracking effort considering it was just his second attempt at the trip of 29f, which stretches his stamina to the limit. He runs from a three pound lower mark today. He had a run over hurdles earlier this month to prepare him for today. He finished sixth in this race last year from an eight pound higher mark. He goes on all types of ground so that won't be a problem. This is around his best distance and I expect a big run from him. Trainer Noel Meade is in good form and has a decent record at Galway. Davy Condon is in the saddle. Jacksonslady finished ninth in the Irish Grand National in his last run over fences. He won his last race over fences before that over 17f. He has never won past 18f before but he has placed in all three runs at 20f and his run in the National suggests he today's 22f trip won't be a problem. He has run in two flat races since the National to keep him ticking over in preparation for this. The ground will be ideal. Barry Geraghty has ridden this horse eight times, winning three times and placing three times.
Jacksonslady finished third, 9L behind Carlingford Lough and 7½L behind Quantitativeeasing. She gets a 12 pound swing in the weights with CL and 5 with Q so she should have a good chance of reversing that form. The extra two furlongs today will definitely suit Jacksonslady and she should go well again. Barry Geraghty is a huge plus in the saddle. Muirhead finished ¾L behind Jacksonslady lto. He is better off at the weights with the three that finished ahead and with the extra 2f likely to suit he should go close. The ground will be ideal. Trainer Noel Meade has had a couple of winners in the last week and Davy Condon is in the saddle. Chartreux is having his first run since April. He has won fresh in the past so that shouldn't be a problem. He won the Somerset National in January before disappointing in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham. He returned to form nto finishing secodn in a good handicap at Perth. He finished second lto as well over an inadequate trip, again at Perth. The return to 3m should see a much improved run if his trainer has him ready for today, which I'm sure he will as he wouldn't travel over if he wasn't able to give a good account of himself. The ground should be perfect for him. Trainer Tom George sends just one horse over from England today. He has only had 1 runner this month and it won yesterday by 10L at 8/1. This Paddy Brennan's only ride of the day. He has ridden this horse 5 times, winning twice and finishing second 3 times.

Re: smith17's Thread

16.50 Newbury: Firebeam' date= 8/1 BetVictor, win
Firebeam finished second in a conditions race lto at Haydock. That was his first race in six months and he should come on a lot for that run. He has some decent form in class 1 races and he should be up to winning at this level. The ground will suit. Mikael Barzalona is in the saddle.
16.00 Ayr: Farlow' date= 16/1 Bet365, e/w (1/4, 12345) & Tidal's Baby, 20/1 Ladbrokes, e/w
Farlow was narrowly beaten lto. Today's conditions will be ideal and he should go well. He has got a decent draw in stall 13. Trainer Richard Fahey has won this twice in the last four years and Paul Hanagan is in the saddle. Tidal's Baby won a 20 runner handicap at Goodwood on good to soft ground two runs. He followed that up by finishing second in a good handicap at Sandown. The ground and trip will suit. Five pound claimer George Downing has been on board for two of three of this horse's wins.

Re: smith17's Thread

14.05 Ayr: Willie The Whipper' date= 11/2 Bet365, win
Willie The Whipper won a listed race in his last start in 2012. He started this season in a group 3 at Chester when he was well beaten by Magician. He then went to France for a group 1 when he ran well to finish sixth of nineteen. Lto he was disappointing as he never got involved in a group 2. Dropped to this level and with the ground to suit, he should go close. Jamie Spencer is in the saddle.
14.40 Ayr: Sir Reginald' date= 16/1 Paddy Power, e/w & Trail Blaze, 14/1 Paddy Power, e/w (1/4, 12345)
Sir Reginald won well lto despite not having the clearest of runs. He was held up in the back of the stands side group. When he started to make progress about 2f out, a horse on his inside hung left and carried SR a bit left. He finished very well to win by a neck from Bertiewhittle. He has only gone up two pounds for that win and he has a good chance of following up here. The ground and trip are ideal. Trainer Richard Fahey is in decent form and he has a solid record at Ayr. Paul Hanagan is a big plus in the saddle, especially in a race like this. Trail Blaze has been running well in big handicaps all season. He finished a ½L second in the International Stakes at Ascot before finishing third in the Summer Cup at Thirsk. He then went to Ripon where he was a bit disappointing but he returned to form lto at Ascot to finish fourth, 1½L behind Redvers. He runs from the same mark again today. The ground won't be a problem. The trip is a slight worry as he is better over seven furlongs but this should be quick and his stamina could come into play. Neil Callan is in the saddle.
3.50 Ayr: Hasopop' date= 33/1 Boylesports, e/w & Mass Rally, 20/1 Boylesports, e/w (1/4,12345)
Hasopop finished third in a strong handicap at Ascot lto, finishing 1½L behind Redvers. The ground and trip will suit and a big run is expected. Trainer Marco Botti is in good form with 9 winners, including his last three, from 39 runners so far this month. He sends just one horse to Ayr today. The jockey is a bit of a worry as he has had only 1 winner form 41 rides in the UK. Mass Rally won the Silver Cup over c&d last year. His last three runs have been in class 1 company. Three runs ago he finished a head behind Jack Dexter off level weights and gets a five pound swing today so should reverse that form. He has run well in similar handicaps this season and he should go well again today. The ground will suit. Trainer Michael Dods is in decent form and Paul Mulrennan is in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread

2.55 Newbury: Saxo Jack' date= 6/1 Bet365, win
Saxo Jack won on his handicap debut lto, beating the top class Steps To Freedom by ½L. He has been put up seven pounds for that win but I think he could still have a bit in hand over the handicapper and he should go well. This is his first time encountering soft ground but he ran well on yielding in his debut run. The trip is ideal. Trainer Ger Lyons is in good form, with 3 winners and a place from his eight runners over the last two weeks. He has had 5 winners from 32 runners in the UK in the last five years. Gary Carroll continues in the saddle having been on board for all four of SJ's runs.
3.30 Newbury: Stepper Point' date= 12/1 Bet365, win
Stepper Point won the listed Beverly Bullet Sprint lto beating the re-opposing York Glory by a neck. He needs to step up on that again but he comes here in good form and he should go well. The ground will suit. Trainer William Muir is in decent form and Martin Dwyer is in the saddle.
5.25 Newmarket: Willow Beck' date= 5/1 BetVictor, win
Willow Beck finished second lto over 10f on this track when attempting to complete a five timer. He steps up in trip by 2f which should suit. The return to better ground will also suit as the ground was a bit too slow for her lto. Trainer John Gosden has a very good record at Newmarket and he is in decent form. William Buick is a big plus in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread 3.10 Newmarket: Court Pastoral, 5/1 Coral, win Court Pastoral finished fourth lto in her first attempt at listed level. She finished 1¼L behind the winner, Quiz Mistress. It was also her first run on soft ground and a return to a quicker surface will definitely be more to her liking. She has won all three starts in the UK and I think she has a great chance of keeping that record intact. Trainer Lady Cecil is in good form and she has a great record at Newmarket. Tom Queally chooses Court Pastoral over Songbird which is a big plus. 3.40 Newmarket: Cable Bay, 3/1 Stan James, win Cable Bay was slightly disappointing lto in the group 2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster, when he finished third of four, over 3L behind the winner. Before that though he was impressive in two group 2s. He finished a ¼L second behind Saayer in the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood before finishing a 1L fourth in the Gimcrack at York. Today's ground and trip will be ideal. Trainer Charlie Hills is in decent form and Frankie Dettori is in the saddle. 4.15 Newmarket: Genzy, 9/1 Bet365, win Genzy finished tenth in a group 3 lto at Longchamp on soft ground. The drop in class and the better ground should see a much better run today. Two runs ago he finished second in the Ebor at York over 2f shorter than today's distance. He should see out today's trip as he was finishing quite well, just not as well as the winner. Trainer Ian Williams is in decent form and Richard Kingscote is in the saddle. The pair have teamed up for 6 winners from 23 runners for a lsp of £38. 5.25 Newmarket: Victrix Ludorum, 9/1 Betfred, win Victrix Lodorum's last run in a handicap was back in May over c&d. She finished fourth, 1¼L behind the winner. She runs from a one pound lower mark today. She has since placed in two listed races before disappointing in a group 3 lto at Goodwood. She has a good record at Newmarket, having won here twice from four runs. Trainer Richard Hannon has a decent record at Newmarket and Richard Hughes is a huge plus in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread Bets: 251 Profitable: 43 S/R: 17% Staked: 258 Returned: 221.76 P/L: -36.24pts 14.10 Newmarket: Lanansaak, 9/2 Boylesports, win Lanansaak was very impressive lto when she won a class 3 handicap at Ascot. She was held up until she breezed into second on the bridle about 2f out. She was briefly shaken up to go to the lead a furlong out and she ran on well to win by 4½L with a further 10L back to third. This is a big step up in class but she showed that she is better than a handicapper and deserves her chance at this level. That was her first run of the season so she could come on bit for that run and, as this is just her fourth run of her career, there could be some improvement still to come. Trip and ground will suit. Trainer Roger Varian is in good form. Paul Hanagan has chosen to ride Estiqaama over Lanansaak but that allows Dane O'Neill to continue in the saddle having been on board lto. 3.15 Newmarket: Ihtimal, 9/4 Betfred, win Ihtimal was very impressive lto when she won the group 2 May Hill Stakes at Doncaster. She finished 2L ahead of Mejeyda with a further 2L back to Lady Lara, who won nicely nto, in third. Today's ground will suit and the trip is ideal. Trainer Saeed Bin Suroor is in good form and Silvestre De Sousa is in the saddle. 17.00 Newmarket: George Cinq, 20/1 Bet365, e/w & Beaumount's Party, 12/1 Bet365, e/w (1/4, 12345) George Cinq finished fourth lto over a mile at Sandown. That was on soft ground which I don't think he really liked and a return to faster ground will suit. He keeps the hood on having worn it for the first time lto. He steps up in trip by 1f but he should see it out. Jamie Spencer is in the saddle. He gave this horse a great ride to win on him the only time that he rode him. Beaumount's Party was beaten just a nose lto at Ayr. He runs from the same mark again today and he should go well. He has won on good to firm ground in the past so that shouldn't be a problem and 9f should suit perfectly. Trainer Brian Ellison is in decent form. Ryan Moore is a big plus in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread 2.40 Ascot: Royal Empire, 7/2 Bet365, win Royal Empire finished second lto in a group 3 on the a/w at Kempton. He was beaten just a head by stablemate Prince Bishop. Before that he won the Group 3 Geoffrey Freer Stakes at Newbury in good style. A repeat of that performance would see him go very close today. The return to turf and the trip will suit. The ground won't be a problem. Keiren Fallon returns to the saddle having been on board for the Geoffrey Freer win, his only time riding RE. 3.15 Ascot: Victory Laurel, 33/1 Stan James, e/w (1/4, 123) Victory Laurel was well beaten lto in a group 3 at Longchamp. That was his first run since May and since he moved to Robert Cowell's stable and he should come on a lot for that run. His last run for his previous trainer is the one that caught my eye. He won a Group 3 in Italy even though he had some traffic problems, having been denied a clear run twice. Once he got a gap though he finished very well to win by ½L. Second and third won nto. The ground and trip are ideal. Traine Robert Cowell sends just one horse to Ascot today. Jamie Spencer is in the saddle. 3.50 Ascot: Magic City, 20/1 Stan James, e/w Magic City was disappointing lto when he never really got involved in a listed race at Newbury. That was on soft ground and I'm willing to ignore that run. He drops back to handicap company today which will suit. In his second last run, he won in a manner which suggested there was plenty more to come. He runs off a five pound higher mark today but I think he will be competitive off this mark and he should go close. Four of his five wins have come this season and he could still be improving. Trainer Richard Hannon is in decent form. Pat Dobbs is in the saddle. 2.55 Newmarket: Trail Blaze, 6/1 Bet365, win Trail Blaze has been running well in big field handicaps this season. He is usually a front runner and with no other obvious pace in this race he should get an easy lead. He has placed in a couple of big handicaps off his current mark. Distance and ground will suit and with first time cheek pieces he should run a big race. Jimmy Fortune is in the saddle. 4.10 Newmarket: Cubanita, 5/1 Bet365, win Posted this before her last run;

Trainer Ralph Beckett is in decent form and Martin Lane is in the saddle
I don't think Martin Lane gave her the best of rides that day. She was too far off the lead coming around the final bend but, to be fair, she wouldn't have troubled the very impressive winner anyway and still managed to finish second, 10L ahead of third. Jim Crowley returns to saddle having been on board for all of her runs prior to lto. Trainer Ralph Beckett is in good form and he has a good record at Newmarket. 4.45 Newmarket: Mince, 4/1 Bet365, win Mince was beaten just ¼L in third lto in a listed race at York. If she is in the same form today she should go very close to registering her first win since this time last year. Ground, track and trip are all perfect. Trainer Roger Charlton has a solid record at Newmarket and he is in decent form. Johnny Murtagh is a huge plus in the saddle. 2.08 Longchamp: Peace Burg, 11/1 BetVictor, win Peace Burg finished fifth in the Group 1 Prix Rothschild lto, 3¾L behind Elusive Kate. Before that she won a Group 2 at Chantilly with the re-opposing Topaz Blanche a neck behind. They are very closely matched but I'm confident PB will come out on top of that particular battle. The ground and distance will suit. This is trainer Jean-Claude Rouget's only runner of the day. The top class Christophe Soumillion is in the saddle. 3.15 Longchamp: Cirrus Des Aigles, 3/1 Betfred, win Cirrus Des Aigles showed that he could be getting back to his best lto with an easy win in a Group 3. He has won this race twice in the last three years, getting beat by a short head two years ago. The ground will suit and, when on form, he is the best 10f horse in the world. If he does run anywhere near his best he will win this. The top class Christophe Soumillion is in the saddle.

Re: smith17's Thread 12.45 Longchamp: Maarek, 15/2 BetVictor, win Maarek won a Group 3 at Newbury lto in good style. He was held up and came with a late eye-catching run to win by 1L. He didn't have the clearest of runs that day but when a gap appeared his turn of foot was devastating. He had four of today's opposition behind that day and should confirm that form. The ground will be perfect as will the trip and he has a good draw in stall 7. Declan McDonagh continues in the saddle having been on board lto, his first time riding him. 1.20 Longchamp: Sandiva, 9/2 Boylesports, win Sandiva won a group 3 at Deauville lto over 7f. She steps up to a mile which should suit as she finished well. She encounters soft ground for the first time today but her breeding suggests it will suit. She has some very good form already and she should be up to winning this. Trainer Richard Fahey is in good form. The top class Richard Hughes takes over from the injured Frankie Dettori in the saddle. 3.15 Longchamp: Leading Light, 12/1 Bet365, e/w (1/4, 1234) & Kizuna, 8/1 Paddy Power, win Leading Light won the St Leger lto. He tries 12f for the first time today but he has won a Group 3 over 10f so, although he has plenty of stamina, he also has a decent turn of foot for today's trip. The soft ground won't be an issue and he has a great draw in stall 5. I think we are yet to see the best of him as he seems to do just enough to keep his head in front and there should be more to come. Trainer Aidan O'Brien won this race back in 2007 and I think he has a great chance of winning it agin today. Gerald Mosse is in the saddle. Kizuna won the Prix Neil lto over c&d, beating Ruler Of The World by a short head. That was his first run since May and he should come on a lot for that run and has a good chance of confirming that form. He won the Japanese Derby in May over today's distance. Lto was the first time he has run on soft ground and he seemed to like it. Coming out of stall 11 isn't ideal but he is usually held up for a late run so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Jockey Yutaka Take has been on board for all of this horse's runs. This is his only ride of the day and it is the trainer's only runner.

Re: smith17's Thread Bets: 274 Profitable: 49 S/R: 18% Staked: 281 Returned: 260.96 P/L: -20.04pts 2.20 York: Excellent Result, 11/2 BetVictor, win Posted this before his last run;

3.30 Ascot: Excellent Result' date= 16/1 Bet365, e/w Execellent Result ran over c&d lto when he finished a 3L seventh.
He ran a cracker that day to win by 1L. He drops in trip by 2f which I think will suit as he showed a great turn of foot lto to put the race to bed in a number of strides and he looked to be tiring close home. He has gone up five pounds for that win but I think he will still be competitive today. Robert Winston continues in the saddle having been on board lto. 3.30 York: An Saighduir, 11/1 William Hill, e/w An Saighduir was beaten just ½L lto in the Ayr Silver Cup. He is closely matched with Ancient Cross on that run but with Declan McDonagh taking over from William Lee in the saddle, I think he has a great chance of reversing that form and he should run a big race today. 3.50 Newmarket: Seaside Sizzler, 40/1 Bet365, e/w & Clowance Estate, 22/1 BetVictor, e/w Seaside Sizzler ran in Spain lto, where he finished third in a conditions race. He finished third in the Goodwood Stakes before that. Today's ground, trip and track will all suit and I expect a big run. Trainer Ralph Beckett is in decent form and his only three runners today are all in this race. His stable jockey Jim Crowley has chosen to ride this one. Clowance Estate finished second lto over 14f at Haydock. He steps up in trip by ½m but he should see it out as there is plenty of stamina in his pedigree. The ground should suit.He is still unexposed and could have a bit of improvement to come. Trainer Roger Charlton is in good form and Graham Lee is a big plus in the saddle. 5.45 Chepstow: Court By Surprise, 7/1 Bet365, win Trainer Emma Levelle is in cracking form with 6 winners from just 11 runners this month. This is her only runner of the day.The very much in-form Aidan Coleman is in the saddle. The pair have teamed up for 6 wins from 30 runs for a lsp of £59.33.
