Re: Super League 2013 - Round 9 Thursday night TV preview: 4pts Bradford (+14) to beat Leeds 10/11 Stan James I think Leeds will win this match but the derby nature of the fixture should mean it is a close match. Bradford are a very spirited bunch this season and they have made a good start to the season and have scored a few points which has been important. Jarrod Sammut has come up with good plays at crucial times and I think he, Kearney and Diskin back at Headlingley can make enough plays to keep the Bulls within 3 scores. Re: Super League 2013 - Round 9 Friday first TV preview: 5pts Wigan (-8) to beat St Helens 5/6 Betfred Wigan and St Helens games are always keenly fought and full of blood, guts and courage but I think Wigan could be getting Saints at the right time here. Wigan are without some forwards but that doesn’t appear to be hampering them while St Helens miss three key men in Lomax, Puletua and Roby and that could be critical to their chances here. Another worry for Saints is the lack of a potent goal kicker and that along with the injuries lead me to think this will be Wigan’s day. Re: Super League 2013 - Round 9 Warrington (-18) to beat Widnes @ evens Ladbrokes Recent history suggests this could be a potential points fest for the Wire who have always scored well against Widnes. Despite still being without Briers they have real depth in the halves with Myler, Ratchford and Monaghan all capable of taking the line on and creating plays. Widnes will want to cone back from their humiliation at Wigan, but yet more squad changes threaten the continuity they need to start taking on the big clubs. My gut feeling is this is a generous handicap.

Re: Super League 2013 - Round 9 Friday second TV preview: 4pts Hull KR to beat Hull FC 9/5 Paddy Power This will be another typical Hull derby, full of effort, passion and plenty of commitment but I can’t help feeling that Hull KR are overpriced in this one. They go into the match above their rivals in the table and that says a lot. Hull FC have key injuries all over the park which is far from ideal in this match. Daniel Holdsworth is a particular miss as he is the man from Hull who could do what Dobson does for Rovers. Michael Dobson is a class act and he can be the difference in this derby.
