Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 3.55 Limerick Indeliable Run 1pt win @ 20/1 Ladbrokes Going to take a chance on this horse reverting back to hurdles after a couple of poor runs over fences. He fell at the first fence last time out at Clonmel which only came 10 days ago but he should come here fresh having not got further than the first. He has ran at this track before when finishing 3rd on his first ever run over hurdles. I think form at this track is important. She is still very lightly raced having had only 3 runs over hurdles. She did well to win her 2nd start over hurdles at Tramore before being totally outclassed in a listed race at Leopardstown. This looks to be much more her level and she can make her presence felt off a mark of 102 with the jockey taking off another 5lbs.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 15.00 Carlisle - Kealigolane - Win @ 11\4 StanJames BOG Consistant Novice chaser with 6 runs over fences with one win over course and distance and heavy ground. Looks to be slowly improving and experience should see this one finish first. Carlisle has a very tough finish which requires a horse with stamina or course winning form to win. Ticks all the boxes for me.

Down to career low mark of 60 now, and went off a fancied 3/1 last time out and ran well, but just ran out of steam. Now off this lower mark the horse must have a cracking chance of getting it's first win on the all-weather. Seb Sanders has done a lot better this year as well, so probably a good jockey booking.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 3.55 Limerick Strain of Fame 0.5 e/w 25/1 Bet365 BOG Always runs well in the heavy and this represents a drop in class after running against some good horses in recent runs over fences. If it runs up to the 10l defeat by Fatcatinthehat then that will be good enough to win this. Interesting back over hurdles

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 Carl 3.00 - Kealigolane - win at 5/2 bog wm hill Three non runners here have changed the shape of the race and could play into the hands of Kealigolane, who won over this CD a couple of runs ago on heavy by making all, jumping wel and staying on well enough up the hill to repel a late run from the favourite that day More of the same today ! Todays favourite (at the moment) is Grey Gold who drops in class but looking at his record I'm not sure the stiff finish will suit him as he's done his best runs on sharp or flat tracks

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 Carlisle 4.00 - Vamizi 1pts win 5/1 Betfred You need to forgive his last two runs where he was pulled up in December when tailed off and then was slammed 33 lengths lto but he does like it around this track with a few good efforts. Is a horse who needs everything to drop right but capable on his day.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 300 Carlisle: Grey Gold (7/4Bet365/PP) Richard Lee has a rare runner at Carlisle and long trip to support the Monets Garden Novice Chase, it should pay off with Grey Gold on his second run over fences. I remember this one absolutely bolting up on heavy ground as a novice over hurdles some time back so the ground wont be a problem. His first run over fences was a good effort behind Tetlami and had a chance three out until a mistake cost him. That was his first run for a year and is expected to improve and looks to have found an easier opportunity.The top three all carry penalties and will find it a struggle to defy them.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 1500 carlisle 1pt win kealigolane 5/2 pp this looks a competitive novice chase with a case could be made for all, but i have gone for the murtaghs horse ridden by j reveley, and when they team up they have a 25% strike rate, ground is of no concern,won on heavy before,

I'll take it on with Divine Rule who will appreciate the return to 8f. (7 of this horses 8 wins and places have come over the mile trip). Lieutenant Dan goes up 3lbs for losing narrowly last time and Indian Violet who sprung a surprise recently is up 4lbs for that win. Greek Islands goes up 9lbs for his recent win. At the prices then I think Divine Rule is the one to be on in this race who should get involved at the finish with the claimer taking off 5lbs (the same jockey who won over C&D on Benzanno in a much better race yesterday)

4.15 - Lingfield - Benandonner EW @ 25/1 Sportingbet This one may not be good enough to beat the improving Tenure but I feel that he is certainly overpriced in an overall weak affair. He was placed last time out on his return run and looked to be staying on fairly well over 8f, he should be sharper for that appearance and the step back up to 10f will suit. Well handicapped on his old form and if running to similar form of his last run he should certainly be good enough to land atleast a place here.

Re: BBOTD Sunday 17th March 2013 16.25 Limerick: Carrig Millie, 15/2 Coral, win Nora's Fancy beat Dangan Daylight, Charlie's Vic & Avondhu Lady in her last race with Cnoc Seoda pulling up. DD was just ½L behind NF that day and, with an eight pound swing in the weights, she should reverse that form. DD has since finished 3¾L behind Carrig Millie with Back In A Tic a further 3¾L back. They race at level weights again today and I don't see any reason why that form would be reversed. CM should have the beating of all of those which just leaves Dazzling Susie. She started well over fences, winning her first two starts over them but was well beaten in her next two runs. She ran well lto over hurdles and could be a danger to CM if rediscovering her earlier form over fences. CM has the in form Barry Geraghty in the saddle which is a big positive. He travels to Limerick for three rides with one winner and one second so far.
