Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 I have some ideas about what to play in these matches, but it will take a lot of guts to play on a winner in matches like Newport - Kiddy or Wrexham - Mansfield. In first match i would expect goals, and personally would prefer Kiddy to win, in second one, I have fear that Mansfield winning streak will abruptly end, but again, i am very sympathetic towards them and they are more than capable to win. I will wait till Tuesday to see how and what. For me, this league is with both league 2, one of the most difficult to make prediction of the winner by far.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 Gainsborough Trinity away at Worcester City (6/4 Marathon) Tonight's game has two sides who are, to different degrees, wobbling. Gainsborough's four successive home draws have taken the edge of their play-off challenge, but away from home they have been playing well - seven wins out of nine on their travels, with defeats at Chester and Halifax that are forgiveable. Worcester are having terrible problems at the moment - six straight defeats with only two goals scored (and none in the past four). It's hard to see where their next win is coming from, and though they have brought in a couple of new bodies to cover for injuries in a small squad they were pretty poor in losing to Boston on Saturday. It might be that Gainsborough are suffering from off-the-field developments, but the truth is that they have a better away record than at home (9-2-4 away, 5-7-3 home). Given Worcester's problems, I'm content to risk Gainsborough at a healthy price. Concord Rangers at home to Bury Town (11/10 Marathon) Four wins on the spin for Bury, who looked a competent, organised and spirited side at Kinsgtonian on Saturday, if not quite as fluent as they were in their early season incarnations. They are much perkier than a month ago, but recent opposition has been indifferent - Bognor, Thurrock and Carshalton are in poor form, and Kingstonian themselves are a puzzling outfit, who change from bloodless to brilliant from game to game (and had a red card to deal with on Saturday). Concord have been one of the best teams to watch this season, and I think they are of a completely different quality to Bury's recent opponents. Serge Makofo and Leon McKenzie are good signings for Concord with recent higher-level experience and there's value at this mark. Altrincham away at Guiseley (4/1 Marathon) Alty have been pretty unreliable betting material - extremely capable for short spells but too often done by indifferent opposition who merely keep it organised for the 90 minutes. I don't take a lot from their recent away shows - wins at Droylsden and Colwyn Bay and a draw at Gloucester - but it's four wins on the bounce and no defeat in six and they have the weapons to upset the home side - there's a bit of value at this price, I think. Guiseley are on a good run - three straight wins - but performances are nothing like as effective as they were early season. James Walshaw is still suspended, and the loss of Danny Boshell (to Alty on loan, though he can't play on Tuesday) is another thing that weakens the home side. I'd still make Guiseley slight favourites but 4/1 is much further out than my own price.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 Have taken Chelmsford tonight at just under evens. After recent allegations of match fixing we could see a Chelmo side wanting to put the record straight. I would imagine that a few high a mighty FA boffins will be there to cast a eye over the team if they lose, which they wont. 2pts on it.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 One spread trade for me: a sell of the 2nd Gateshead goal at 77 with Spreadex. A pretty high figure given that Gateshead have been in decent goalscoring form. They'll also be smarting from the turnaround against Alfreton on Saturday, when they contrived to turn a 2-0 lead into a defeat. Hereford were very lacklustre at home to Barrow and were losing deservedly until a pen and sending off gave them the chance to equalise. They won it late on, but hardly deserved to.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 Nuneaton look good value to me this week at 10/3 with BetVictor. They've only lost one of their last six and take on a Grimsby side who've lost their last three. Admittedly they've lost to two top sides and a capable one but with the cup final on Sunday I think this is a good time to take Grimsby on. I'm sure the age old 'the league is the priority' will be trotted out by Grimsby's staff and players before this game but that's nonsense. It's human nature to have an eye on what will be the biggest game in most of these players' careers to date particularly with it being so close now. Nuneaton have only conceded one goal in their last five and with the amount of 90th minute winners they've popped up with recently we know they'll be going until the end. I think they are definitely worth a poke at a price which is almost a whole point bigger than I would make it.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 afrc telford are in a mess with their 4th manager this season in temp control, the chairman lee carter publicly stating that players have taken the club for a ride and a few injuries as well,no win for 25 games. if macclesfield are up for it tonight they should win comfortably and cover the handicap minus1 my only fear is that they cant realistically reach the play offs now and might stroll through the game ill take eastleigh as well as mentioned by ships

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 Newport have a few injuries in their squad. Midfielder Max Porter will be out for the remainder of the season with a groin injury while striker Danny Crow and winger Ben Swallow are also sidelined with hamstring injuries. At least they'll have top scorer Aaron O'Connor back from injury but he could start from the bench. Ill back Kiddy on double chance (half time or end) to beat Newport. Mansfield have a lot harder job to do in away game and I expect them not to win today, rather draw. 8 win in a row is fantastic streak, and I believe it willl end today.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21

I should add as well that Eastleigh at 19/20 look a decent play away at Tonbridge Angels (Marathon). Eastleigh are finally showing some teeth away from home' date=' and Tonbridge's defensive suspensions will hurt them on Tuesday.[/quote'] I am also plan to back Eastleigh. But who is suspended in Tonbridge defence?

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 By the way, guys... nobody noticed one interesting clash in North Conference between Bishop's Stortford and Harrogate Town. They just played on Town's pitch and it finished with the tie (2-2). Town players are guilty themselves of it, of course, because they dropped to play after 2-0. If we check Town's stats in away matches, we could see a good looking picture, should I say. 4 wins in the last 5 games! They lost to Brackley 1-2 but other teams conceded 2 goals each other and lost to them. Stortford is ridiculous at home: 1-1 with Hinckley and 2-1 with Droylsden! Common! Guiseley and Workington demolished them 5-2 and 3-0. I guess the price of 2.0 on William Hill is a very good proposal. I don't know, probably Harrogate has injury problems or suspensions but statistically guests should take 3 pts. Opinions gentlemen?

I am also plan to back Eastleigh. But who is suspended in Tonbridge defence?
Gary Elphick and Ollie Schultz, their preferred central pairing at the back are both missing. This was part of the reason for backing Eastbourne on Saturday, but with that game voided the suspensions carry over. They've got Anthony Furlonge in on loan from Stevenage as cover but he didn't pull up any trees in the 4-1 defeat to Welling. Tonbridge are not a bad side, and Franny Collin is still a very dangerous player and on form and the incoming forward Ashley Miller looks a good signing short-term, but a couple of key players have been off key in recent weeks and the somewhat makeshift feel to the side makes them opposable at the moment, especially against a side on a hot streak.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 18-21 My finals bets for today are: Macclesfield 1 (i was divided between them and Cambridgers, but i am afraid of Ebbsefleet suprise hit so it's Macca, Luton is a big no-no for me) Newport - Kiddy over 2,5 goals...It speaks for himself, altough record of over 2,5 for kiddy away is poor, but both teams are in excellent attacking form, and its a large stake in bet, no1 position in league so i think there will bw lot of goals today cos of importance of match. Alternatively double chance on Kiddy is good bet Dartford Barrow over 2,5 goals....Both teams are extremely poor defensive, no other things to expect rain of goals today. Dartford is especially thankful for these bets Nuneaton - Grimsby, double chance on nuneaton, I bellive their defence will hold onto draw at least, they have to save themselves from relegation and Grimsby have fallen back onto bad form in recent matches, i wouldnt back them today And in the end i hope for Mansfield to lose points today, large numbers
