Re: February 11 - February 17 Guys, this is a forum, not a chat, so please post accordingly. All kinds of picks are appreciated, but reasoning is required and "this is a sure bet" does not count as reasoning. Accordingly, bookmakers you are betting with should be posted in the post with reasoning, not in the post with results.

Re: February 11 - February 17 ok CzechPunter sorry. Match: Matthew Ebden v Rik De Voest - SAP Open BACK Matthew Ebden @ 1,75 Pinnacle As Ebden not win this match and enter the field that has a very serious problem. This year alone has Gando their two games before Davis inferior players, having lost to Goffin, Granollers, Youzhny in the Australia Open in 5 sets recently and Kuznetsov, pretty bad balance, but at least they are players with a certain level. But De Voest is much worse, and is a player of much lower profile. All you need is something De Voest kick, but that's it, nothing more. Comes losing in early rounds with Dutra da Silva, Radu Albot and Ginepri, their only victories in 2013 were in the preliminary stage of the tournament, but had no rivals any entity. Ebden is a player with much more skill, and only needs to pull the game with no nonsense

Re: February 11 - February 17 [h=1]Ivo Karlovic v Steve Johnson - SAP Open BACK Ivo Karlovic @ 1,8x Pinnacle[/h]More even encounter of the day between the young Steve Johnson and veteran Ivo Karlovic. The Croatian has one last year that does not raise its head and are being very mediocre results. However in Zagreb we saw some improvement and that the less brought to a high level. And when Ivo has a good day with his serve is a real danger to any opponent. Here are indoor tracks and very fast so if Karlovic has its day is very difficult to cope. BAC

Re: February 11 - February 17 Back Guido Pella to beat David Nalbandian for a 2/10 stake at 2.91 with Pinnacle Two situational bets for me today. Nalbandian played an awful match against Aguilar yesterday, missing plenty of easy shots and trying to be aggressive in the wrong spots. Pella will be a much more difficult challenge for him and I would not be surprised by seeing Nalbandian lose today. After all, Pella is a tremendously talented guy that always tries his best and should see this as a winnable tie in all fairness. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/pella-vs-nalbandian-betting-guido-pella-looks-value-to-upset-david-nalbandian Back Simone Bolelli to beat Juan Monaco for a 2/10 stake at 2.83 with Pinnacle Juan Monaco produced a horrible performance against Rufin last week and I just cannot trust him in this situation. He is apparently still having some injury issues, so he might be in Sao Paulo just for the sake of trying to play and that simply cannot be a good thing. Meanwhile, Bolelli played well against Robredo, not allowing the veteran to get back into the match at any point, and will surely fancy his chances today as well. Re: February 11 - February 17 Back in action after a small lay-off. Here are my two bets for today: - IGOR SIJSLING to beat Martin Klizan x SAM QUERREY to beat Lleyton Hewitt @ 2.17 with unibet It's been a good past 12 months for Sijsling and now that he's beaten Tsonga, I can see him taking care of Klizan. Fast indoor conditions will suit his serve and he likes to attack the net and put pressure on players. Klizan is better on a slower surface and has had a start to the season punctuated by poor form and injuries. He's not kicked on as anticipated. He was lucky that Mathieu didn't see out the match in the last round and I suspect he'll bow out here. I'm coupling Sijsling up with Querrey, who always puts up a decent show in America. Hewitt can be gutsy and tough, but the bare facts are that he is fallable on serve and doesn't have much pop in his shots. Querrey ought to overpower him. - MARCOS BAGHDATIS +1.5 SETS v Richard Gasquet x THOMAZ BELLUCCI to beat Filippo Volandri @ 2.60 with unibet Time for me to fade Gasquet. He's not a man who can keep his level up day after day and after winning Montpellier last week, I'm not sure he's able to take out Baggy in straights. It wouldn't surprise me if the Cypriot did win, because he's won their last two meetings and kept things nice and tight against Paire in R1. He has a good chance of clocking a set here. Bellucci lost to Volandri in the semis here last season, so I expect revenge is high on his agenda. Both men needed final-set breaker to advance past R1, but I give Bellucci the edge because he has more aces in him to get out of trouble and has the crowd in his favour. :hope

Re: February 11 - February 17 [h=1]Marcos Baghdatis v Richard Gasquet - ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament BACK Marcos Baghdathis @ 2,80 pinnaclesports[/h] Baghdatis has level and ability to win this game. Gasquet has won the two times you have faced, and in my opinion, after winning last week's tournament taking Montpellier and Marseille next week, does not have the skin left on the game today. Baghdatis began the year with very fuertte Brisbane semis and losing in the Australia Open against Ferrer, then lose in Zagreb suffering from a foot problem. View of their first game against Paire has recovered, so that should be a winner bet.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Gulbis to beat Del Potro ML/+4.5 games handicap. Odds 4.90/1.81 Stakes: 3/8 For sure this spread at these odds is a must take. Del Potro is rightfully the favourite, this being a very good service for him. Considering his massive serve and powerful groundstrokes. What makes him a top 10 player, is that with his power, he also has very good court coverage for a man his size. Del Potro had a good showing against Gael Monfils. The Frenchman played some very skillful tennis on some points. But taking the entire game into consideration, he was playing average. On the other hand we have Ernest Gulbis. We all know his story, very talented player, rich parents, enjoys partying and is mostly busy with other things rather than making hours on the training court and having his mind, mentally prepared for matches. It seems he has changed his mentality and is starting to grow-up. He skipped the Australian Open because the tickets where more expensive than what he would earn and he wanted to train and prepare 100% for the upcoming year. He has openly said to train more and to have stopped smoking, drinking and partying till the early morning. We could see that in the match against local hero Robin Haase. It's been a long time that I've seen Gulbis play this well. Good serving, good spread, good coverage and excellent groundstrokes. Gulbis is also a player that can absorb the power of Del Potro and play on his level. I think it's plausible that Gulbis can pull out a surprise in this one, but that's pure on the value side. The handicap should come through quite easily.

Re: February 11 - February 17 [h=1]Pablo Andujar v Albert Montanes - Brasil Open 2013 BACK Pablo Andujar @ 2,0x pinnaclesports[/h]Knockout encounter between two Spanish who have started with very bad start the season. Of course, while Pablo Andujar improvements we've seen him and was his first win by fall, we have seen Albert Montanes crawling tracks and leaving a very sad picture. Has two victories this season but neither tell me anything. In Viña del Mar suffered what is not written to Nicolas Massu and here was defeated in straight sets to a Paolo Lorenzi was not to compete. The movements of shares already reflected something and it has appeared on the track. The Italian has come to pick up the check and has not been involved at any time. Forces came very fair after winning the doubles title in Viña del Mar and a week off before the ATP Buenos Aires will do very well. Meanwhile Pablo Andujar broke a very negative dynamic game losing in straight sets to defeat Santiago Giraldo. Paul was very solid at all times and that victory should give the final boost of confidence. Montanes is far from his greatest moments, consider Andujar is safer and consistent. Luck!

Re: February 11 - February 17 Federer to beat De Bakker -7 games 3.23 @ Pinnacle Frankly these odds are ridiculous. I feel the market is overrating de Bakker for his 'win' over Youzhny. The local player wasn't really that good and just took profit from the Russian who wasn't fit. De Bakker has no weapons to challenge Federer. He hasn't had a decent performance on hardcourt and is lucky to be in his current ranking because of some good results on Challenger clay. De Bakker isn't able to play kamikaze against Federer, we saw it against Youzhny and we will see it again. He will play his own game and try to get some points. But he'll only stand a chance if he goes a 100% for each shot and pray that the ball goes in. Certainly after getting rid of some of that rust against Zemlja in the previous round, Federer should be able to destroy the Dutchman entirely. One could debate for some local backing. But Federer is the favorite player here in Rotterdam so the crowd will definitely also be cheering for Roger.

Hey mate, I posted a thread here looking for a bookmakers with a particular criteria: http://forum.punterslounge.com/threads/137745-BET365-Bonus I decided BET365, although perfect in terms of almost everything else, wasn't worth it due to the fact it's so easy to get banned and the stakes aren't particular high either so I'd have to have switched anyway. I thought of either Pinnacle or Betfair and decided to go Betfair because of the additional options (backing and laying) and better fixed odds. The single problem is that the voiding rules are after 1 set, matches aren't voided. Although it's still risk, the top 8 players very rarely retire from matches, so I'm wondering if there is anywhere else similar to Betfair but the voiding rule being that all matches including a retirement are voided. I know you said you knew somebody who done something similar to this and I was wondering if you knew what they used? And Here is a list of bookmakers voiding requirements if you aren't sure: http://www.arbworld.net/index.php/en/arbitrage-betting/tenis-rules And if I bet on player 1 to beat player 2, and one of them pulls out what happens?

Re: February 11 - February 17

...
In all fairness, I think that you are trying to solve questions that are not on the cards yet. Bet365 is a top bookie in many respects and has the ideal conditions for your strategy, so stick with them. It is not that easy to get banned and the stakes will be more than enough for a couple of years (assuming 2 bets/year). I don't know any real alternative at the moment if you want both higher stakes and the void rule to be on your side. The guy that I know is betting mainly at local bookies.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Sorry I meant I'd be using 2 lots of £200 a year so I'd never lose more than £400 a year, still less than a rennet a week. So I could be in the thousands within a few tournaments so a ban could come quite quick. So I think the best option is to use Betfair rather than have to switch anyway. Betfair has great odds without even considering the exchange so it's probably the best option. Also do you know what happens regarding I'd Aa player pulls out of a math after you've placed a bet on a match.

Re: February 11 - February 17

Well' date=' Betfair has other pitfalls like premium charges, so take a look at those things beforehand. I don't really get your question. You mean if he retires before the match starts? If so, the bet is obviously void.[/quote'] You know in the 1st round of tournaments you get lucky losers if someone pulls out? What happens if I'd placed a bet before a lucky loser was placed then someone pulls out from that match...

Re: February 11 - February 17

If the match you bet on doesn't start' date=' the bet is void at all bookies that I have experience with.[/quote'] Sorry, I'll explain better. If I bet on Troicki vs Chardy in the first round of a tournament and choose Chardy to win, what happens if, after I place the bet, Chardy or Troicki pull out the match and are placed by a lucky loser? Also, does Betfair charge commision only on the exchange market or on the fixed odds/sportsbook which Betfair themselves set the odds for...?

Re: February 11 - February 17 Back Filippo Volandri (-3) to beat Martin Alund for a 2/10 stake at 1.86 with Pinnacle Fancy Volandri to cover this handicap line, as he has been playing rather well so far in Sao Paulo. On the other hand, Martin Alund was slightly lucky against Jeremy Chardy, who could not find his range throughout the entire match, making 16 double faults and missing plenty of easy shots. Volandri is going to be much more consistent than the Frenchman and I cannot see Alund out-playing him from the baseline. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/volandri-vs-alund-betting-filippo-volandri-can-continue-his-sao-paulo-campaign-with-a-solid-victory Back Xavier Malisse (+3.5) to beat John Isner for a 2/10 stake at 1.78 with Pinnacle John Isner is obviously the better player of the two, but he has not been playing well in recent weeks and Malisse is certainly not the easiest of match-ups for him (the H2H currently stands at 2-2). The Belgian will surely be up for this and I fancy him to play well enough to cover the 3.5 games handicap line today in what should be a cracking match between two very determined competitors. Re: February 11 - February 17 Dimitrov to beat Baghdatis 2-0 and ML. Odds 3.3 and 1.92. Stake 4/10 and 9/10 On the first look the overs look great here. Two talented players with a similar ranking, H2H both 3 setters (1 recent) and 1 forfeit. However I think that Dimitrov has a bigger edge here. He had an okay win over Tomic and a decent win over Davydenko. Baghdatis had a forfeit from disgruntled Paire and an okay win over mentally and physically drained Gasquet. I think that Dimitrov should be too much for Baghdatis. I love Baghdatis when he has the time to make shots, but he gets very erratic playing people that apply pressure on his game, deep shots, little time. Dimitrov is someone who's level is rising and he's well capable of doing so. His real breakthrough will be 2013, if you ask me. The odds on 2-0 are pure value and I'm taking the ML, high stakes.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Del Potro to beat Nieminen (-5.5 games) Odds 2.58 (Pinnacle) Stake 7/10 I absolutely love this pick. I can't fancy Nieminen to do any damage to Del Potro. He doesn't deserve to be in the QF and is only here because of his easy draw. Goffin just wasn't there and Nieminen wasaverage against an average player like Bachinger. Del Potro however had a great showing against both Monfils and Gulbis. We also have a mismatch on our hands. Nieminen can't handle much pressure and actually likes to be quite crafty and look to make a lot of angles with his lefty groundstrokes. Against Del Potro he won't have much time to scrap and play his game. In the H2H between each other, the Finnish player has never covered the spread either. Great valuebet on our hands here.

Re: February 11 - February 17 2 PICKS FOR ATP SAN JOSE: MALISSE-ISNER GAMES OVER 22 GAMES @ 1.58 on pinnaclesports Malisse with great return of serve, better than Isner from the baseline, should be a close match. ISTOMIN- RAONIC - TIE BREAK IN THE MATCH @ 1.57 on bet365 Raonic is not at his best. Istomin should make it a tie-break set.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Benneteau +4.5 to bt Federer @2.120 Pinnacle (5/10) Julien in "big serving dick" mode, but the main resoning for this bet is that Fedex, as he grews older, does not want to spend too many forces at trying to bagelise his opponent. We saw this yesterday in his match against poor De Bakker (63 64). One break a set is just enough, and if Julien serves first, this should be OK.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Benneteau to beat Federer (+4 games) Odds 2.57 @ Pinnacle Fancy this bet a lot. Packed with value. Federer played quite average against De Bakker. He didn't stress himself too much to get to the win. Get the break, secure the win and serve it out. He is yet to play his best tennis. He'll need this match against Benneteau to catch form for the coming matches. Benneteau on the other hand is playing quite well. Not really impressive but he trashed both Kamke and Hanescu. More importantly I think the difference will be made at the net today. I saw Benneteau at a training and double match yesterday live in Rotterdam. He was volleying really well. He won't win this match but he should be well capable to scrap out a tiebreak today. Alternatively you could take the +4.5 @ 2.12 to add a 4-6 4-6/5-7 5-7 to your winners. However I find the difference in odds too big and find to have more value in this pick in the long run.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Dimitrov to beat Del Potro ML (4/10 stake) Odds: 4.51 Pinnacle Total games over 22.5 Odds: 1.87 Pinnacle (8/10 stake) No doubt this is going to be a hell of a match for the young gun Dimitrov, but he I really do fancy his chances. The Bulgarian is playing tennis I haven't seen from him before. All the qualities are there. Good serve, deep and powerful groundstrokes, great court coverage. I think he can push Del Potro to the limit in this one. His last match wasn't comparable to the two matches he played before. I'm judging his form to be quite erratic. Dimitrov has the skill to move DP around the court and absorb the powerful shots he'll surely be receiving. Over 22.5 with these odds is a must bet for me. Value on ML is too high to skip for me.

Re: February 11 - February 17 Lindstedt Zimonjic to beat Granollers Lopez I find these odds too high on two double players that prefer the hardcourt surface. The two aren't really in form but surely the odds should be more near evens for this one. Saw Zimonjic/Lindstedt training live at Rotterdam and their volley drills were impeccable.
