Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Bet365 are offering 7/5 about ETU's trip to Cray on Tuesday. The weather will be an issue, but they are off-beam in making them joint favourites with Cray. Regulars here will know that we've been on Cray's case for a while - Cray have taken one point from 24, lost five on the bounce, and conceded 14 in the last two. Mark Willy returns from suspension - a key man in marshalling things at the back - and to be fair, they had their moments going forward in the 9-3 defeat at Kingstonian yesterday but Michael Power was crocked, and they made some terrible blunders at the back with frightening regularity. ETU have only lost once away since August, Sam Higgins is back, and they've just returned from three road trips with a draw at Hastings and Lowestoft and a win at Bury.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Forest Green v Braintree Tuesday 12th Feb 19.45 I think Braintree are on offer at a good price here (odds of up to 6.05 are currently available for them with Pinnacle). They have been in similar form to Forest Green recently and I don't think the odds should be that high. There are some good value double chance odds available, like this one: Braintree or Draw 2.6 bwin

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13

fancy Stockport to beat Lincoln tomorrow good odds 11/10 battered Wrexham on saturday in the 2nd half 3 clear pens not given a team with renewed hope and vigor that comes with a new manager won 2 out of last 3 gotta be worth a punt right?
Welcome to the non-league threads, Madhatter. Stockport are on the drift and out to 6/4 in places, and there certainly is a case to be made for them. Personally, this is a really hard game to call. Lincoln have been on a terrible run, but they deserve some credit for beating Dartford with ten men, though I think you have to factor in that Dartford are nothing like the side that started the season. The enforced break has meant that Lincoln's walking wounded are coming back to fitness and they look a better proposition than a few weeks ago, although I believe Mo Fofana is still not quite ready to start - he is key to adding some steel to their spine - and Sheridan will be out after his red on Saturday. The early signs for the new regime at Stockport are better than most people expected, although there is still some defensive work to do, and it'll take the players coming in some time to adjust. But given that Stockport will have much more attacking capability than Dartford did on Saturday, I do fancy them to score and I think they have a better attack than Lincoln. I think all results scenarios are possible in this one and there will be goals in it - that's probably how I'd play this one.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Just one spread trade so far tonight - a sell of Luton Town's 2nd goal away at Dartford at 74 with Spreadex. Both sides have big cup matches coming on Saturday, but - perhaps counter-intuitively - I think it's Dartford who'll be more distracted by the away match at Grimsby than Luton will by Millwall at home. It's also not a trade that would have brought me great riches so far this season, but I suspect Luton will have slightly more focus on this than Dartford, who haven't looked particularly lively in recent weeks and don't have any league ambition left. Indeed, it's only one clean sheet in 12, which came at home to Macclesfield when the visitors couldn't make their territorial domination pay. Luton have been a difficult betting proposition away but they have a good opportunity to breathe some life into their play-off push.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Cray/ETU subject to a 10.30 inspection today. There must be a big question mark about the fixture, although with only light rain since yesterday and nothing substantial forecast today and with temperatures above freezing there is still a chance of getting it on. The price - unsurprisingly - has been hammered since I posted on Sunday. Bet365 soon cut their 7/5 about East Thurrock, though Marathon left 13/10 available for a while. Corals came to market yesterday with 11/10, though that has gone to 4/5, which is now best priced and where my own price is. Stan James go 3/1 Cray, which is almost value in itself. There's also an inspection at Enfield/Met Police at lunchtime.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 FCUM away at Frickley Athletic (10/11 Coral) Not the biggest away price, but there's still a touch of value, I think. FCUM have attacking options aplenty at the moment, and they are on a tremendous run - seven wins out of eight, with only the 1-0 defeat at Hednesford to spoil the record. Frickley are much better at home than away, and have beaten Hednesford in the past couple of months, but recent home wins have come against Blyth and Kendal, who have nothing like the class of FCUM, and Frickley concede far too many at home. Key for me is that FCUM have a way of playing that suits the boggy pitches and they'll be able to withstand the robust approach of the home side. Frickley are not without their chances but I think FCUM are value (and, in fact, a sporting play on the anteposts at 14/1 with Bet365).

Not sure about the three clear penalties bit, but you did play a lot better second half than the first and are definitely in a false position. I think any price odds against is worth a punt...more so if you get a decent full back!

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 I've just driven past the Enfield Town ground and there's not a hope in hell that that match will take place as the ground in under at least 6 cm of snow (which beggars the question - why leave the inspection till 1 pm?). There's a noon inspection at Hampton and that'll probably be called off, too. That leaves the Lowestoft/Margate match as the only RPL survivor. Not a match to get involved in, IMHO.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Stockport-Lincoln.According to statistic this game is a rock solid over 2.5 or even over 3.5.Last 5 of the Stockport games finished over 3.5 goals while 4 of the last 5 games of Lincoln went over 2.5.OVer 3.5 would have won in the last of their 4 games which produced 18 goals..I think this is a game between 2 very similar sides which leak a lot of goals as well as score for fun.It was said in the posts above that Stockport is the team with much more quality in attack but that doesn't mean it is going to be a clear home win.BTTS or over 2.5,3.5 is a banker here i think.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 Tamworth will be without a number of defenders as they welcome Macclesfield to The Lamb. Captain Richard Tait and left-back Scott Barrow are already ruled out, but they are also set to be without Jonathan Thorpe who suffered a head injury on Saturday and is a doubt. That match, which saw Tamworth come from 2-0 down to earn a point at Newport, also saw Lloyd Kelly pick up a knee injury that will sideline him for a month. Darren Byfield, who made his Tamworth bow as a replacement for Kelly, is set to be involved again and could start in place of the mid Adam Cunnington marked his return to the side with a late equaliser and is set to line up for the Lambs while Kyle Perry, back for a second spell with the club, is pushing for a start having come off the bench in south Wales. Macclesfield will be able to welcome back Pablo Mills against Tamworth after the defender served the last game of his three-match suspension in the 1-1 draw at Hyde. One player who will be missing is midfielder Kieran Murtagh as he serves the second of his two-game ban. The Silkmen are also waiting on the fitness of Craig Braham-Barrett, who was forced onto the bench at Hyde, Nat Brown and Thierry Audel who all missed out on Saturday. One player who looks likely to miss out is Darren Murphy after he sustained an injury in training on Friday. The Silkmen, whose trip to The Lamb is their third consecutive away game, are seven points off a play-off .Macclesfied win

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13 AFC Telford v Hyde Bit of a risk backing a team who haven't won for months, but I am certain Mark Cooper is going to get a win out of them sooner rather than later. They held there own against Grimsby on Saturday and this test should be much easier. Hyde were very lucky to get a point on Saturday and have not been playing well in recent matches. Telford are drifting which makes the price attractive enough to play and they are 29/20 with BetVictor. Stockport v Lincoln Another home team to drift are Stockport and they make plenty of appeal at 6/4. They played really well on Saturday against Wrexham and with better luck they may have got something out of the game. Lincoln did manage to win on Saturday, but Dartford were a disappointment and I don't think the form is worth much and Stockport will be a much harder test. Tamworth v Macclesfield I was pretty annoyed that Macclesfield failed to win as they were much the better side and Kissock missed a sitter to make it 2-0 late on. They should have too much for Tamworth who were lucky to pick up a point at Newport and beat a poor Gateshead side the time before. The away side at 11/8 (Coral and Laddies) looks a solid bet Eastleigh v Sailsbury I have mentioned plenty about Eastleigh's home form this season and they have even perked up away from home having won their last two games on the road. This suggests things might well be finally clicking for them and with Salisbury having lost their last two away games I like the chances of a home win with is 13/8 with BetVictor. I do fancy Mansfield tonight, but the price has got to short and to be fair Newport look too big at over 2/1.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13

Welcome to the non-league threads' date=' Madhatter. I think all results scenarios are possible in this one and there will be goals in it - that's probably how I'd play this one.[/quote'] thanks just finding my around still ha taken on board the comments i think its a safer bet to go with btts with stockport tonight along with a forest green home win and tempted to go southport barrow btts both score and concede quite regularly

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Feb 11-13

Just one spread trade so far tonight - a sell of Luton Town's 2nd goal away at Dartford at 74 with Spreadex. Both sides have big cup matches coming on Saturday' date=' but - perhaps counter-intuitively - I think it's Dartford who'll be more distracted by the away match at Grimsby than Luton will by Millwall at home. Luton have been a difficult betting proposition away but they have a good opportunity to breathe some life into their play-off push.[/quote'] Luton's problems have come when playing as a large favorite away: Barrow (5.05) 1-0 Telford (5.07) 0-0 Hyde (5.20) 1-2 Alfreton (5.39) 3-0 On the contrary, away as smaller favorites: Woking (3.80) 3-1 Tamworth (3.92) 1-2 Lincoln (4.40) 1-2 Ebbsfleet (4.80) 1-3 If you fancy them to win, consider Luton to win from behind, as they really seem to wake up late when traveling.
