England v New Zealand...New Zealand 1st Inns Runs...150 @ 1.01 in play. 318-4. Seems daft but there's still £583 in there for free.

I see it, amazing! Surely there’s a moral question here, can we count a bet that cannot lose for the purposes of consecutive bets, surely there has to be a degree of jeopardy!

Not sure about the 'morality' side of a bet. It's not a word I thought I would ever see in the same sentence as betting. I'm sure we've all made similar. although smaller, mistakes in our past betting history. It's something the person would have to take on the chin and learn from.

Totally agree, been there done that and no issues with snaffling free money, it's very much "layer beware" in unmanaged markets. I'm on in my "Juggernaut" thread.

Maybe "moral" not the right word but I was thinking purely in terms of counting the bet for consecutive bets leaderboard purposes; it was part thinking out loud and part playing devil's advocate. In the context of not allowing bets at sub 1.01 prices I don't think we should count bets that have no possibility of losing. That's why I decided to use the bet in the aforesaid thread (where the focus is monetary return) but not in the "dodging bullets" thread (tilting at the leaderboard).

I think the practice of setting trap bets in the hope that one gets taken once in a while is pretty scummy (e.g. asking for 101 in a 1.01 scenario) but anything that's offered is fair game to be taken.
