kevshat
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C 3pts Zambia vs Ethiopia - Over 2.5 goals 7/5 BetVictor It will be interesting to see how Zambia play in this match. Last year they were the underdogs and not really expected to feature but everyone knows about them now and that’s a different position entirely and brings a lot more pressure. I think they’ll win the game but they are too short for me. The bet I like here though is over 2.5 goals as I think Zambia have goals in them but Ethiopia should give this a go and could well have goals in them themselves. With the possibility that Zambia win this 3-0 or better too the 7/5 on over 2.5 goals looks good to me. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/zambia-vs-ethiopia-betting-defending-champions-can-be-involved-in-plenty-of-goals-as-they-begin-their-defence 4pts Burkina Faso (+0.75AH) vs Nigeria 4/5 Bet365 It will be interesting to see how Nigeria go in this match having missed out on the tournament last year. Will they go for the jugular or will they be a bit more cautious and work their way into the tournament? Burkina Faso should give this a go. I think they are a better side now than the team which came to this tournament last year and if Traore is fit they have the personnel to trouble Nigeria at the very least and get at least a draw if not a win. Jarni
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Had Nigeria and Zambia to win yesterday, boy do I feel cheated..corruption leaking out of the referee dicissions in the Zambia match, the match was stopped for 11 minutes and he adds 2x3 hahaha! And what about all of the offside decisions against Zambia. Nigeria..wtf, you don't attack in overtime with a lead of 1-0 with all men!? It was a 4 vs 4 situation in the 94' minut with a crappy pass in the box, with even crappier deffending as if they didnt want to touch it? Last time I play in this tournament, the fields are awfull and the whole cup is leaking of corruption!

Pay Day
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia under 2.5 goals @ 1.7 Betfair Both teams sit on the same number of points having picked up positive but surprise 1-1 draws against stronger teams; both these teams were underdogs. I was thinking waiting to play until after the 1st game but I don't think that outcome will have too much say on how these two teams play. Most games have gone under so far in the ACoN and I can see this one going that way too. Burkina possess more flair in attack (almost all through Pitriopa) but are wildly unpredictable (think of a bunch of Gervinho's and Nani's in the attacking positions). Ethiopia are more drilled and play within their means, a bit like Stoke or Norwich but without much quality up front. They comfortably held the current African champions despite playing with 10 men for 60 minutes of last game. These two teams have never played each other in a competitive match, and despite it likely being a counter-attacking open contest, I doubt chances will be converted thus creating a low scoring game. Good luck all
kevshat
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Friday previews: 4pts Nigeria to beat Zambia 11/8 Betfred Apart from the left back I thought Zambia were pretty poor against Ethiopia in their opening match and in the end they were lucky they didn’t lose the game even though the Ethiopians only had 10 men. This Nigeria side looked in control of their opening match before they lost Ambrose but I think the addition of Moses will add another dimension to what looked a lively attack for the Super Eagles and I expect them to be too strong for a largely overrated Zambia side who don’t look to have the spirit the side which won the tournament did. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/zambia-vs-nigeria-betting-zambia-s-title-defence-can-be-left-hanging-by-a-thread-with-nigeria-defeat 4pts Ethiopia (+0.5AH) to beat Burkina Faso 2.01 BetVictor I thought Ethiopia had the look of a decent enough side about them in the opening match and I fancy them to pick up something from this match. Burkina Faso go into the match as favourites which won’t be something they are familiar with or that happens too often and that pressure is a different kind of pressure to the one which they had against Nigeria. We’ve seen DR Congo wilt under that pressure on Thursday and the near even money about Ethiopia avoiding defeat on the Asians looks good to me. McNasara
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Nigeria v Zambia Both teams have underperformed in the first round, so they have to go for all or nothing now. Young Omeruo will replace banned Ambrose in defense, while dangerous Moses leads the Super Eagles attack, despite not playing in the first match. Also, captain Yobo (key defender) will be on the bench. Nigeria is closer to win, but remember that the Chipolopolo have not lost in regulation time at the Africa Cup of Nations since they lost 3-2 to Cameroon on 17th January, 2010. New player in their line-up will be Southampton striker Mayuka. I expect a very interesting match, maybe the best so far. A great motivation and a few changes in both sides indicate that there will be goals, in my opinion. over 2 @2.10 Marathonbet medium stake

McNasara
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Burkina Faso vs Ethiopia Now, these two teams have a great chance to qualify from the group if they win tonight. Ethiopia was a complete outsider, but after a draw with the current champion, they look completely different. They have the most support from the stands in this competition (of course following the host) and therefore are highly motivated. On the other hand, Burkina Faso looks like a more serious team with some good players from the French Ligue 1. Alain Traore and Charles Kabore are some of them and they will start for the first time in this tournament. Ethiopia will be without regular goalkeeper Tassew due to suspension, but defender and captain Debebe is back in their line-up. I expect a tough game, but the Stalions are favorites as evidenced by odds decrease. However, I took reasonable value at local bookie. Burkina Faso @2.00 low stake

kevshat
Re: ACN 2013 - Group C Tuesday previews: 4pts Burkina Faso vs Zambia - Over 2.5 goals 11/8 BetVictor I’ve a feeling this group could really come to life in this match. Zambia have to have a go in this match because they are nutters if they rely on Ethiopia getting a result out of Nigeria for them to be able to qualify with a draw but Burkina Faso showed even with 10 men against Ethiopia that they can counter attack to devastating effect so I expect to see a few goals in this game and I think the 11/8 on over 2.5 goals is perfectly good value in this one. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/burkina-faso-vs-zambia-betting-over-2-5-goals-looks-good-value-with-the-attacking-quality-on-show 5pts Nigeria (-1) to beat Ethiopia 13/10 Boylesports Even though they are yet to win in this tournament this year I can’t see beyond a Nigeria win in this match and I would expect it to be a confident Nigeria win too and a comfortable one. Ethiopia have been game opponents in their first two matches but ultimately they have been outclassed at times too and I expect that to be the case again here and I’d be very surprised if Nigeria don’t win this by two or more.
