Yes @ 1.80 Unibet 10/10 Predicting the outcome of this match is very difficult, will be more focusing on the total market and disciplinary area. Total Over 2.5 to be a first choice, both teams are playing a similar 4-2-3-1 system and they dont like to share points at all. Looking at Betis they should not play at draw vs Zaragoza (middle table), mainly because they are in a very good position at top to attack the Champions League spot. The referee Vitienes Texeira give a lots of cards, right Zaragoza defender Sapunaru will have a very difficult task against fast Betis players, I see him not only booked but also... to be sent off! A red card can change the game, similar to Zaragoza - Depor when this referee gived a red card in the 49th minute to the visitors plus a penalty to Zaragoza, the game ended 5-3. :cow GL! I see this game ending 3-3, 3-4, 4-4.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Real Zaragoza v Real Betis *Zaragoza have lost last 4 successive La Liga games against Real Betis *Betis have won their last 2 trips to La Romareda in La Liga without conceding a single goal *Manolo Jiminez's side have lost their last 2 home league games by a 0-1 scoreline *Zaragoza have lost a joint-high 5 home games already this season *Betis have won all 5 away games this term that they have scored the first goal in I think the price on Betis is worth taking here. Betis are currently 5th in La Liga and Zaragoza are down in 12th, although there is only actually 6 points between them. Both teams have picked up more points on the road than at home so far season and after 17 La Liga games they only have 1 draw each so I may also look at laying the draw. In their 8 home games Zaragoza have failed to score in 5 and have kept 0 clean sheets; Betis have managed to find the back of the net in 6 of their 8 away games this season keeping 3 clean sheets. Obviously it is the first game since the winter break so players may be a little rusty and this may have a bearing on the outcome so I will not be going crazy but I think there is definitely value in the away win tonight. 2pts Real Betis (2) @ 3.25 VictorChandler +4.5pts 0.5pts Correct Score (0-1) @ 11.00 VictorChandler -0.5pts 0.5pts Correct Score (1-2) @ 12.00 VictorChandler +5.5pts

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan About player are thinking of leaving the team.. That's not really true. I mean, Beñat could be sold at the end of the season for at least 20 millions (or at least that said the coach otherwise, would be a failure). And others player such as Cañas or Adrian, they have a offers from Betis but they are asking more money, I thought they will renew at the end). About Zaragoza, Romaric won't play by injury. And on betfair.es there is a striking offer to new users; https://promociones.betfair.es/supercuota-es-social Betfair pays Barcelona at 2.0 (up to 20€) so, be careful with Barça.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Levante-Bilbao Levante @ 2.25 I think that this odds do not represent the actual condition of both teams and are more a reflection of Bilbao's strength in previous seasons, which I am not so sure is relevant at this moment. Athletic have a disastrous season so far, failing in a shameful way both in Copa del Rey and Europa League, and standing at 13th place in Primera. Their away form is dismal - 5 losses, a draw, and just two victories against outsiders Mallorca and Granada (I think the two teams with worst home performance in the group). From what I have watched of Athletic this season, I have seen first a very troubled defense. They make a dozen of huge unprovoked errors nearly every game, they seem disorganized and fragile. It is definitely the worst unit in the team. After freezing Llorente, their attack suffers a lot. They need a whole plethora of chances to get a single goal, and despite showing some good form, Adruiz is far from Llorente class and preciseness in front of the goal. Athletic still have this very technical, fast and complex combinations in midfield which are very hard to deal with, but not being able to materialize on goal opportunities and being leaky in the back have nullified to a big degree the power of Bilbao's midfield. Levante, on the other hand, are not only one of the most stable teams in Primera and winners of a difficult group in Europa League, but a formidable home power. Between August and November they had a series of 7 consecutive home victories in all tournaments. At home this season in Primera, they failed to win just three times, but look against whom - a draw with Atletico Madrid, and losses to Real (a late winner) and Barcelona. All the other home games are victories for Levante. They do miss one important player - suspended Obafeme Martins, but even though he scored 6 goals for them, Levante are a good collective rather than a team reliant on individual sparkle.

truth is - betis have no money. they receive only third of every transfer due to creditor obligations. so, benat has a 20 million euro clause, canas and adrian are needed to sign, but there are news that canas is already sold to swansea and would leave immediately in case russians really buy michu. so, motivation really is questionable...

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan zaragoza couldn't string any passes together and kept making mistakes by giving balls away. they clearly haven't got over their christmas hangover yet. this team didn't look like competing at all and betis rightly punished them for their mistakes.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan man, it is clear that we saw a different game... betis defended with ten men at times, especially in the first half and despite that zaragoza were pulling them through the left side. zaragoza didn't take their chances, betis took the first one and that was that. yes, there were mistakes, but on both sides. were was canas? benat? both with no or limited action. zaragoza deserved a point and that's it. unfortunately, it is their lack of creativity and only one really good attacker that prevents them from playing attacking style football. betis obvioustly has players to punish every mistake. as for hangover, zaragoza actually took two more days to prepare for this than betis.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Deportivo de la Coruña vs Malaga Malaga to win @ 2.38 Betfair Malaga is traveling to meet Deportivo La Coruna, last team of the league. Deportivo La Coruña - 20th on the Primera Division table, has only 2 wins and 6 draws in 17 season matches. The team is still looking for a win after 8 matches (7 in the league) in a row, of which they lost 5, and I don't see them finding it in this match and just sacked his couch Oltra for the newcomer Domingos Paciencia (former Braga and Sporting Lisboa manager) Malaga - 4th on the Primera Division table, right behind Real Madrid. A team which showed real quality in UEFA Champions league this season and are currently in a great form, winning 4 out of their 5 league matches. The only problem is that Malaga hasn't defeated La Coruna for a very long time, for over 12 years or 18 head-to-head matches. This season, Malaga has more quality, they are in a lot better form and I believe that they can easily win this one, even though they are playing an away game.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan In the last match before the holidays break, Deportivo lost 2:0 away from home to Espanyol in a game they threatened very little, had less ball possession and overall, deservedly conceded goal in each half-time. With this loss, team of Jose Luis Oltra completed a run of seven matches without a victory having five defeats and only two draws, as they are rock bottom placed with only twelve points earned out of seventeen rounds. At the same time, it’s also still only three points away from the safe positions and nothing is lost for them, but only if they improve their performances and results soon. Game against Espanyol was judgement game for Oltra who got dismissed few days later, as the new coach arrived – Domingos Paciencia, however he didn’t have much time to get to know players more due holidays. Right back Laure (11 matches, 1 goal) is injured for this clash, while his new substitution Silvio will not be included into the squad, new player that got loaned from Atletico Madrid. Moreover, left back Ayoze (9 matches) is also unavailable for this game. Malaga is coming from a 3:2 victory over Rayo Vallecano in previous round. It was important victory for them at their own home just before the holidays. They escaped with a goalless first half-time as the guests were clearly better at the beginning of the game, however managed to get all three points with better second half-time, especially thanks to Santa Cruz who scored twice. With this victory they kept the fourth position at the table, being only two points away from the third placed Real Madrid. Central defender Weligton (6 matches so far) is once again available for the team and will replace injured Onyewu. Otherwise the lineup will not change much as Saviola who scored five goals will lead the attacking line, although Roque Santa Cruz scored twice in the previous game. This one should be closed match which will be decided in details. Still, guests are playing much better and have much more options in attack, while the hosts showed many weaknesses this season and can’t be compared anywhere near fourth placed team. Bet: Malaga 0 Asian Handicap @ 1.70

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Levante v Athletic Bilbao *Levante have won 5 of 8 home games this season only dropping points against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid *Last time out Bilbao recorded a 1-0 in Mallorca. They are yet to record back-to-back away wins this term *The last meeting between these two sides (Levante won 3-0) ended a run of 6 straight Bilbao victories *Obafemi Martins (Suspended) has been directly involved in 7 of the last 10 home goals scored by Levante in La Liga (5 goals, 2 assists) This looks very similar to last nights game to me. Levante have has a good season so far and find themselves 6th in La Liga with Bilbao down in 13th although there are only 6 points between the two. Levante have been particularly strong at home so far winning 5 of the 8 games and Bilbao have lost 5 of their 8 away games so their away from is far from convincing. The only thing that concerns me is the absence of Martins who is a key player for Levante so I will be playing with small stakes here. I think the prices are influenced by the winter break so there is value there and I'd expect Levante to come back refreshed and ready to go again. 1pt Levante (1) @ 2.62 BetVictor 0.25pts Correct Score (2-1) @ 10.5 BetVictor

Levante-Bilbao Levante @ 2.25 ..........
Levante - Bilbao 3-1 FT. ;) Good pay-off! As I told you, Bilbao's defense takes every day as a Christmas and feels obliged to give Christmas presents to any attack they play with. Just check the red card in the end of the first half while it was still 1:1 - even a pub's team is not allowed to make such ridiculous mistakes! I will continue to strongly oppose Bilbao this season, as they don't anything to sort out their terrible state of defense.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Real Madrid vs Real sociedad Have been looking forward to this game whats not to love about a team like Sociedad unbeaten in 8 and never ever afraid to attack the top teams playing against a freewheeling Madrid side just looking to entertain at home. Important statistics: The last 2 fixtures between these 2 teams in madrid has resulted in 5 + goals. 2 of Sociedad's last 3 away fixtures have resulted in them netting 5 against valencia and 2 against malaga in wins against strong opponents. Real Madrid have conceded 7 goals in the last 3 fixtures and because they are really only concentrating on the champions league and maybe the spanish cup and with mouriniho set to leave at seasons end motivation in the primera league wont be at a strong level. Having said that they will still be expected to finish in front of madrid rivals atletico at seasons end. In a nutshell i think overs and both teams to score look like bankers , madrid will give sociedad chances and i expect them to take at least 1. Both teams to score @ $1.78 Betfair is an outstanding price. maximum points 10. Over 3.5 goals @ $1.87 betfair 4 points. Over 4.5 goals @ $2.96 betfair 2 points Over 5.5 goals @ $5.10 betfair 1 point.

Re: La Liga > 4th Jan - 7th Jan Rayo Vallecano v Getafe Rayo Vallecano @ 2.28 Betfair Rayo Vallecano coach Paco Jemez has warned his side's defence they could be in for a busy night when local rivals Getafe make the short hop across Madrid. Although they have only scored 21 goals in total, Getafe have netted in all but two of their 17 Primera Division matches this season and Jemez is wary about the threat posed by Luis Garcia's side in the final third. Getafe are without Pedro Leon, Mane, Abdel Barrada, Mehdi Lacen, Adrian Colunga and Rafael Lopez for varying reasons, but Jemez said: ``It's true Getafe have some important absences like Abdel Barrada and Pedro Leon, who are great players, but you never know if this is good or bad. Getafe, who lost both matches against their neighbours last season, are just one place and one spot below ninth-placed Rayo in the standings and coach Garcia doubts there will be much between the two on the field either.
