kevshat
Qualifying for the German Masters takes place over the next three days with all players involved and some of the matches streamed on bookmaker websites. Was cash to be made last week and hopefully that's the case this week too. Draw and format/schedule can be seen here: http://www.worldsnooker.com/staticFiles/cb/b9/0,,13165~178635,00.pdf
kevshat
Re: German Masters Qualifying 28-30 Nov Some match previews for Wednesday: 4pts M.White (-2.5 frames) to beat F.Patrick 5/4 Apollobet Michael White looks the real deal to me. Every time I see him play I’m impressed with him. He is a typical young player of today who likes to get the balls open and score heavily but he showed when he beat Ken Doherty in the UK Championship qualifying last week that he’s more than just a scorer. White is teetering on the edge of the top 32 and breaking into there will be a significant step in his career. He can go closer to that with a comfortable win here. This would be a tough draw at the best of times but it is particularly tough with the form Liang Wenbo has started showing and there’s no reason why that form will drop off with Wenbo likely to be practicing hard ahead of the UK Championship which begins at the weekend. Davison’s wait to qualify for a major championship may well have to wait for another event. Michael Wasley isn’t the worst player you’ll ever see but I think Lisowski has all the tools to be a bit special if he gets his head down and gets the most out of his talent. Having seen his flatmate Judd Trump enjoy plenty of success I think the penny might have dropped for Lisowski and I expect him to win this no worse than 5-2.
