Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Qualifying On the betting front it’s pretty predictable with Vettel odds on for pole, he’s an 8/11 shot with a few firms and Lewis Hamilton is clear second best at around 9/4, Hamilton has to be the value call as there isn’t much between them and in last weeks qualifying everyone though the Red Bulls would be miles quicker than anything but in the end only scraped home. It can only concern the top two teams so Jensen Button at 16/1 will attract a few supporters. As usual Ladbrokes are betting on who will reach Q3 and I like the look of Bruno Senna in the Williams, he has been driving well recently and with this track not really suiting the Mercedes it does give someone a chance of breaking into the top ten that wouldn’t normally make it. Selections: To Finish On Pole 2pts Lewis Hamilton 5/2 Coral 2pts Bruno Senna to make Q3 11/8 Ladbrokes Full Preview; http://www.punterslounge.com/formula-one-betting-senna-could-be-the-value-bet-to-make-q3-in-abu-dhabi

Re: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Abu Dhabi Grand Prix The McLaren driver is long odds on to deliver and who can argue with the bookmakers on this occasion but doesn’t appeal as a wager and with Webber very short just behind him in the market we need to get creative for a decent bet this week. Only three bookies are going three places for each way backers, Blue Square, Ladbrokes and William Hill and Alonso is 12/1 with the latter so may appeal to some. To finish on the podium he’s Evens with Ladbrokes which probably makes more sense if you think Hamilton has the race in the bag. Vettel is a 33/1 shot by the way to win the race from 24th! He’s 1/3 to finish in the points and 5/2 to finish in the top six. As usual the value is hard to find in the points market, Sergio Perez at Even money looks the best of those outside the top ten while Massa is worth a bet at 13/8 to finish in the top half dozen. Selections; 2pts Fernando Alonso Podium Finish: Evens Ladbrokes 2pts Sergio Perez Points Finish 11/10 Stan James 2pts Felipe Massa Top Six Finish 13/8 Skybet Full Preview; http://www.punterslounge.com/formula-one-betting-hamiltons-to-lose-as-vettel-starts-at-the-back-of-the-grid
