My main reasons being apart from results starting to go against me, I became increasingly stressed at having £500 on up to 8 selections each weekend. 4K on 8 games was too stressful for me, so thankfully I walked away. I've been following your thread for while from a 'non betting but interested' perspective as I am currently doing something similar but with rugby. richards1986 Posted June 10, 2008 Share Posted June 10, 2008 Re: Soccer Hot Favourites System ( at -2% ) There is simply way more value in laying the weaker side rather the backing the favourite IMO,.. how about making your liability 10% of your bank and let it accumulate exponentially. 1x2betting or whatever crap, i don't see this as anything different from what most ppl try when they go for short favourites. I have a system of laying weak away sides where the backing odds are similar to those expressed by you, maybe a bit higher like 1.3-1.6 with lay odds between 7s-15s. However, this system has brought light on the fact that no matter how well it can be going it can all self destruct in an instant.
