Heracles - PSV At first sight, this one looks like the most certain "over 2.5" in Europe for the whole week. We have number 1 (PSV) against number 2 (Her.) in the table for overs in Eredivisie - PSV averaging 4.32 goals per match and Heracles averaging 3.74 goals. PSV are terrific goal scorers - they scored 61 goals so far, while the second high scoring team in the league - Ajax, have scored just 45. Heracles are the fourth highest goal-scorers, despite being at 10th place. Everything, including the miserable price of 1.40, suggest over in this match. However, after digging deeper into it, we discover interesting facts. This is the list of all the games between these two teams in Almelo in the last years: 1:1, 0:2, 0:1, 0:2, 0:2, 0:2, 1:1.Not a single game went over 2.5!!! If you research deeper, you will discover that actually most of this games featured late goals, which make them even more underish. It is very curious how such attacking teams produce such low-scoring games. I was wondering whether these teams were probably more defensive in the past seasons?! Heracles have been coached for several seasons by the same coach and more or less have maintained a core of players for a few years. They have shown high scoring throughout all these years, although this season is probably their most productive in terms of goal. PSV have also been for many years famous for being the best goal-scorers in the league. So, it is obviously something about the match-up of these two particular teams that make them produce low-scoring games in Almelo. Furthermore, Heracles have received bad news - these they had to sell their main forward Armenteros and key midfielder Overtoom, and they have no substitutes for them yet. This should hurt Heracles offensive. PSV, on the other hand, are missing attackers Narsingh and Toivonen (both long term). In the previous game, PSV lost in a shameful and surprising way at home to Zwolle. Their defense has been absolutely comical in this game, and veteran holding midfielder Van Bommel took active part in all goals scored by Zwolle after making terrible mistakes. I suppose that the main topic throughout this week training sessions in Eindhoven has been improving their defensive performance. I am confident that after their defenders made themselves look like clowns last week, now they will try to be very concentrated and keep it as tight as possible. Under 3.5 @ 1.80 (bt 365)

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 One clash from Holland Eredivisie early for the day.Derby clash actually between two of the top teams this season Vitesse and Ajax.Of course the guests are better team and deserve to be favorite in this match.What we can say for them since great start 3:0 with Feyenoord and the expectations for title are bigger now.The hosts was very good in the first part of season,but for 2013 starting bad lose by 3 goals in their match with AZ Alkmaar 1:4.Vitesse are 5th collected 5 points less than the opponents Ajax,but the team from Amsterdam should to win today and get revenge for home defeat this season when the team was with more matches (Champions League) and Vitesse used that.Away win for today.

VVV Venlo Vs AZ Alkmaar Important Stats: Venlo Overs in 9 of 10 games at home. Az Alkmaar overs in 8 Of 9 away games. The last 4 meetings between these 2 teams has resulted in over 2.5 goals. However, right now they cannot compete head to head with the best in Netherlands - PSV and Ajax, because their team, although very talented, is really like a kinder-garden. Here are the players that took part in the last game of Feyenoord vs. Twente on Sunday: Strikers - Boetius (18y), Achanbar (19y.), Pelle (27y); Midfielders - Clasie (21), Vilhena (18), Immers (26); Defenders - Vrij (20), Mathijsen (32), Janmaat (23), Indi (20). Especially in attack and midfield we are talking about kids, who, despite being very talented, have very little to no experience in Dutch football. They will have to play against some of the best and most established players in Eredivisie who have substantial experience with many games, goals and cups won - Strootman, Van Bomel, Mertens, Lens - just to name a few. To make matters worse for Feyenoord, one of their best attackers and most experienced players - Schaken, is injured. So, they are left with only two experienced and proven offensive players - Pelle and Immers. Hence, they are already two games without scoring a single goal. Although Feyenoord are having a very good season, considering the age of their players, when they play against the best teams in the country, their youth pays high toll and their results are not good at all: PSV-Feyenoord 3:0 (League game), Ajax - PSV 3-0, Twente - PSV 3:0, Vitesse - Feyenoord 1-0....This is only excerpt from the autumn 2012. Add to this also two home games - Feyenoord - Ajax 2:2 and Feyenoord - Twente 0:0, and we get a horrendous conclusion - Feyenoord have earned only 2 points against top 4 teams (out of 15 possible), managing to score just two goals! And to make things look even more frightening, PSV is the black cat for the Rotterdam team, and the away games at Phillips stadium are probably the worst events for Feyenoord - they lost 10-0 here just two years ago. PSV failed last home game with Zwolle, but now situation is very different - this is a derby and there is no chance for underestimation. I expect fully motivated and strong PSV and give very little chance to the guests. Goals can also be viable options, but the price for over 2.5 is just 1.44, and I honestly don't see PSV failing to win if at least three goals are scored. I think that handicaps are also more than likely here. PSV -1.5 @ 2.30 (bet 365)

This is the top 6 of the teams in the Netherlands and so there will be guaranteed to both scoring or about 2.5 goals. AZ was first out of shape but after the winterstop they play better and have only underperformed last weekend against Groningen, but that's probably an exception. Vitesse vs PSV also guarantees goals, not only because the PSV is currently doing very well. Bonny is back from africa cup and this will be crucial for the attack side of Vitesse. In this game you can even try over 3.5 goals and moreover at the beginning of the competition Vitesse won against PSV in Eindhoven.

VVV is playing ok football but can't grab the points. heerenveen very unstabile, vvv should be aible to grab something here. I will play is save with BTS odds 1.65...

[TR] [TD=colspan: 2][h=1][/h][/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD=colspan: 2] Utrecht this is typica team from Netherlands, three strikers always at the pitch, Cedric van der Gun who's even played in Championship and in Germany Bundesliga, in this season has two goals after 951 minutes at the pitch, amazing but this player had many assists in last season in Utrecht where scored 3 goals in 12 matches and his main problem is injuries, Jacob Mulenga Zambian forward, we seen him at African Nations Cup where played with his national team, his great shoot from left foot is always very dangerous, but back to Holland without even a goal in Africa and his team played just 4 matches at this tournament. Mulenga in this season has 8 goals and no doubt this is main scorer here, behind this two forwards we have Edouard Duplan, 29 years old French forward, very helpfully for his teammates, many assists and his great long balls to other forwards is very important in Utrecht. Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 Hi there, one game comes out for me in this weekend and that will be Vitesse hosting FC Groningen. Vitesse had some hard games the last couple of weeks but played pretty solid, a win over Ajax while they were 2-0 down and a good point against league leaders PSV last weekend. W.Bony is back and that's a huge boost. It's still unknown if he will leave the club but for now with him in the team the morale is high. At home they have a great record this season lost only to AZ 1-2 at the start of the season. Many wins and ofcourse a lot of goals. In midfield they have Theo Janssen, Van der heijden and Van ginkel who are just great. A lot of pace and vision towards the attackers, fast wingers and a killer striker upfront. 1.67 isn't that great but against a poor travelling side FC Groningen it is fair. Groningen won their last 2 games but the away game was extremely lucky 0-1 and their coach told the media he never saw such a game won by his side. Anyways their away record is 4-1-7 and only won against teams who are relegate material except for az but that was the lucky one. Vitesse will have the same squad as last week and so is Groningen. I think Vitesse can keep a clean sheet here and score 2 or 3 if they reach their normal level. Medium stakes on home win and home win -1 low stakes. Good luck all!

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 Sorry, I forgot that he recieved a red card last game.. It is a blow but FC Groningen away is terrible and Vitesse is a fortress at home. Van der heijden will play on Janssen's spot in midfield and he is capable of doing that. Defense is pretty solid with a lot of speed against Zeefuik the striker of Groningen. And he is very slow, big man but they can isolate him nicely. I think vitesse is more than capable with this squad to win at home against a weak away side.

And he is very slow, big man but they can isolate him nicely. I think vitesse is more than capable with this squad to win at home against a weak away side.[/quote'] But is it worth it at 1.60?! I like a lot Vitesse because of their attractive attacking style, but in fact they are not at all so successful and secure at home this season. They have won just 4 out of 11 home games. Does it look to you like a 1.60 material?! Especially without their best midfielder. I know Groningen, and they indeed play ugly football and lack quality in attack. But they are a very physical side and are not that easy to break through. And they can always do something from set pieces.

I know its a strange and hard competition this year to predict. Tonight NEC - VVV. Last 8 Home matches NEC- VVV, NEC managed to win 6 and 2 times a draw. Last season FT was 2-0 Earlier this season VVV- NEC ended in 2-2. NEC is in good form winning 3 matches in a row, they have two new players on loan from AZ Falkenburg(midfielder) and Boymans(striker) VVV hasn't won a game in 6 matches but a dangerous with set pieces. Maybe thet can get a goal with nwofor who is a decent striker. Home win NEC odds 1.5 looks oke but al little short, I will try the -1 bet on NEC with smaller stakes. NEC -1 odds 2.4 5/10 units.

Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 I also like NEC at home tonight but somehow I just never trust Friday night games in any competition. 1.45 is not great at all especially because I just can't believe NEC will keep this winning streak alive. They are a medium side and ofcourse VVV are poor travellers but it has to come to a stop at a certain moment. However I think this will be a tight affair VV fighting for their lives and maybe NEC will win this by one goal or the draw.

And you were right about that one. :) I missed something important - Steaua were without many key players.

Hi there' date=' one game comes out for me in this weekend and that will be Vitesse hosting FC Groningen. Vitesse had some hard games the last couple of weeks but played pretty solid, a win over Ajax while they were 2-0 down and a good point against league leaders PSV last weekend. W.Bony is back and that's a huge boost. It's still unknown if he will leave the club but for now with him in the team the morale is high. At home they have a great record this season lost only to AZ 1-2 at the start of the season. Many wins and ofcourse a lot of goals. In midfield they have Theo Janssen, Van der heijden and Van ginkel who are just great. A lot of pace and vision towards the attackers, fast wingers and a killer striker upfront. 1.67 isn't that great but against a poor travelling side FC Groningen it is fair. Groningen won their last 2 games but the away game was extremely lucky 0-1 and their coach told the media he never saw such a game won by his side. Anyways their away record is 4-1-7 and only won against teams who are relegate material except for az but that was the lucky one. Vitesse will have the same squad as last week and so is Groningen. I think Vitesse can keep a clean sheet here and score 2 or 3 if they reach their normal level. Medium stakes on home win and home win -1 low stakes.
