Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 As a AZ Alkmaar fan I say Feyenoord are favorites for this game. Feyenoord is in top form and AZ are struggeling. We used to be really strong at home but we are waisting a lot of point lately, losing to weak teams as NEC and VVV at home. Of course, AZ can maybe grab a point but there is defenitely value in Feyenoord. Unibet is currently giving 3.00 for a Feyenoord win. Vitesse DNB might also be worth the risk. Vitesse are really strong at the moment and a very decent team. They hardly concede goals and upfront they are really strong. PSV are weak at the back, but have a good midfield and attack. I see some chances for Vitesse here, especially when you saw how they beat Ajax in the Amsterdam ArenA and grabbed a deserved draw against FC Twente.

FC Twente need to win if they want to keep competing for the title and Heracles wants to beat their 'big brother' Twente because its also the derby of the east. Heracles play attractive football and have lots of creativity in their squad. Twente on the other hand hasn't.

They play 3-5-2, a somewhat unusual tactic in the eredivisie where most teams play the 4-3-3. Because of that they dominate more then often on the midfield but they are also vulnerable at the back. Talking about vulnerable, meet FC Twente. Twente lacks everything Heracles has at the moment; guts, creativity, goals and especially momentum. Last 5 games where a absolute disaster, except maybe first half at PSV last week and second half against ADO (against 10).* Because of that i don't believe Twente will win tonight. Odds are ridiculous in my opinion. Everything above 6 for Heracles is worth a real shot altough X2 is my choice for tonight along with the over 2,5. Last one is almost a guarantee. Good luck guys! Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2012/13 Vitesse are in a great form away from home - they just lost for the first time in their last game in Venlo, before that they had only wins, including one in Amsterdam. Heerenven are surprisingly terrible this year - they haven't seen a victory for six games and are placed at 13th. I admit I am a bit surprised by this price for Vitesse. Nevertheless, we should not forget that despite their very bad performance this season, Heerenven are one of the most stable teams in Eredivisie, and they are notoriously known for their strong home performances. It is not unreasonable to expect that Van Basten will eventually raise his team's performance and they will get out of their crisis. Furthermore, they haven't lost against Vitesse in the last 8 games! If you a value-seeker and believe in the value theory, I think you should take Vitesse at this fat and delicious 2.60. Based only on current form, you probably won't get such price in any league for a team with a great visiting record against a very poor form squad. However, if you want to make sure that you get money for your investment, I recommend taking the BTTS option at 1.44. I know it seems like a thin price, but in my view this is almost a certainty at the moment between these teams. Heerenven's defense is really weak and Vitesse are great scorers who travel with full squad. Still, Heerenven have good goal-scoring record, too, and given their wonderful H2H against Vitesse and their absolutely urgency to get points, they should find their visitors net as well. Other good bets I recommend here are: Over 3.5 @ 2.25 Vitesse to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.83

On the other hand, we all know how Vitesse have a great financial power and their ambitions are bigger every next season. After all, Fred Rutten (Vitesse coach) had a good perfomance against H'veen (8-2-0) and he is much more experienced strateg than van Basten. Btw team from Arnheim had an easy job against amateurs yesterday, unlike Heerenveen that played 120 minutes and lost after penalties against Feyenoord. Away odds will surely drop... I just recall watching their game in Venlo lately and think that if they can lose their by two goals, then Vitesse can surely slip also at Heerenveen. But since these two are among the "chosen" teams which I monitor closely for betting purposes due to predictable patterns in their performance, I do think that goals are certainty in this one.

Twente is the better team, but it is obvious that both of them don't have a consistent form this season. AZ was in a bad position cause are in the bottom half of the table, so they will have a huge motivation to win a third consecutive time in the final game of this year. On the other hand, Twente want to win in Alkmaar first time in last ten years. Statistics show that both teams scored only one goal in its last four (home/away) matches, but under 3 goals (@1.70 bet365) doesn't represent value for me. Teams are not complete, AZ have offensive problems and guests defensive. Twente was rested in midweek and they're slight favorites here, but odds are set so also (Twente DNB @1.85 bet365). So I believe that away side is close to winning in a game without many goals, but I can't find value there.

These are teams of similar quality and ambition, which are winless in the last three rounds. Yup, Chery is suspended, as well as Beugelsdijk (regular defender), but their goalie? Zwinkels is long term injured, but first choice Coutinho is fit. Though he can't be totally focused in this game. In fact, it was found illegal cannabis production on his property these days :cigar On the other side, NEC will be without regular goalkeeper Babos. I like away odds (especially for first half), but should wait for some more news from The Hague after a few home key players (Poepon, Holla, Omeruo) are questionable for tonight's game.
