Hungarian Grand Prix Qualifying The Hungaroring Circuit is well known by all of the drivers and has been on the Formula One calendar since 1986 and a good grid position is vital here as it’s very difficult to overtake. McLaren have a terrific record here recently winning four of the last five races and last years winner Jensen Button will be looking to continue his revival after a good finish in Germany where he was promoted to second place after Vettel was found to have infringed the rules. McLaren’s other driver Lewis Hamilton had a nightmare last week and will be keen to put things right here and was the dominant driver throughout Friday’s practice sessions although he afternoon stint was interrupted by the weather which is becoming a common thing around Europe at the moment. Re: Hungarian Grand Prix Hungarian Grand Prix It’s really hard to see beyond Hamilton, it’s a tricky place to overtake at the best of times and with the McLaren so far ahead in all sectors he surely just has to get away cleanly and stay trouble free for a win this weekend. The rule changes seem to have affected Red Bull and Alonso will just want to defend his lead in the championship. Grosjean has to get his brain into gear over the first few laps to have any chance of fending off those behind him and by that stage Hamilton should be long gone down the road. With McLaren in top form and Jensen Button driving so well last week he looks the value to get on the podium at around the 7/4 mark while the consistent Sergio Perez looks a fair bet at odds against to get into the points. Re: Hungarian Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton Fastest Lap @ 5 Betfair Hamilton has been the fastest for the majority of the weekend and looks to have an edge over the other teams. Usually this wont secure fastest lap as drivers on fresh tyres at the end can often claim fastest lap, but with rain predicted towards the end of the race then this might not eventuate. If the fastest lap time comes from the first half of the race then I think there's an excellent chance it will be Hamilton as he should have clean air and the faster car.
