Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 Let me get on to marketing to see if I can get you some discounts. There are 2 hotels literally next door in the same complex, The Holiday Inn and a Hamptons. There are many b&b's close by too. Also a Corals less than 100 feet away for the degens lol. Will report back on Tuesday with prices.

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 The mods are staying in the Travelodge Pride Park which is around 2 miles away, but is only £19.85 per room per night We wont be in the rooms much and for that price its a steal!

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 100% the holdem Depending on work might play the omaha (never played live omaha before so it may be a painful experience for the other folk on my table, up to the point where I lose all my chips anyhow) I live in Derbyshire but will probably stay at one of the hotels anyhow so I don't get woken far too early the next day by my son.

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 Very happy to say, I was meant to be working on the 6th Oct, but have managed to book it off, so instead of getting up at stupid'o'clock, and only being able to play the 8pm game, I can now roll out of bed at a decent time, and be there in time to play both games. :ok

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 Myself, Milber, Nessy and another m8 are coming up on the friday to celebrate my 40th early, stopping in the travelodge, so will meet up with anyone else wanting to have a few beers on the town. I will be playing both events on the saturday, milber and nessy will probably just be playing the holdem and my other m8 doesn't play poker, so he'll be propping up the bar!:beer:beer:beer

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 I'm interested in this for the Hold Em only but I'll see what the footy fixtures are first when they are out on 18/6/12. I prefer live poker to online but I'd be interested in the satellites. Is prize money winner takes all or does it go down a few places?

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20

it is usually paid out 3 or 5 depending on numbers :ok
How much are the online satellites likely to be. Am I right in thinking they are qualifiers for the main tournament? I haven't played satellites before.

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 this was from last year and i expect it will likely be very similar, not sure how successful the satellites were though. "

Hi All You may be aware that the next PuntersLounge World Series of Poker will be held at the G Casino in Coventry on Saturday September 3rd 2011. The cost of the events are as follows: £50 No Limit Hold'em with £1k added GUKPT Seat £25 Pot Limit Omaha with £250 added cash! £75 Buy in with no juice for both events. To help with entries we will be having a daily £7.50 super satellite with 1 package for every £75 in the prizepool. I have it down as a rebuy and addon but only 5 players need to start the tourney. The tourneys will be daily and start at 9pm UK time. Good luck all and lets hope we get a few of these running

:ok "

Westfield shopping centre has a huge car park right there. Similar to what you would have seen at the Broadway .Of you want super secure there is the parksafe car park a little way away. There you needed a card just to Enter the building to get your car back and they insure it while it is there. Not cheap however :-)

Re: Punters Lounge World Poker Championships - Genting Derby Riverlights - 6th Oct 20 Sigh posted from my phone. Cheap big car park like broadways. You know, that casino you like. Super secure car park a walk away. Rich bugger like you can afford. When you learn the difference between there, their and they're then you can complain :-)
