But I dont want to find out if he does or not at odds of around 4-7. Also no interest in chancing my money on any of todays rivals. Striker
Re: Hunter Chase Season Hi Bud Havnt got a strong opinion on the race as yet.Agree Sleeping Knight is a worthy Favourite, and I think will jump better in the big field we will have here. Lord Atterbury has been laid out for the race, but is priced on his connections rather than solid recent form. Most interesting horse is the youngster Free Gift, who looks the real McCoy.While best outsider is another youngster the Irish trained General Montcalm. He has a real engine, but jumping errors have cost the horse ,but he jumped really well when Winning last month, and its worth remembering he like Free Gift is only 7.That win will have done the horses confidence a lot of good, and may be a In Running bet if his jumping holds up on the all important first circuit. Will do a full preview on the day of the race.
Striker
Re: Hunter Chase Season Hi Two interesting races today Wincanton [4.05] There is a big whisper for Prince Dundee who is back to his best trip, but form wise will struggle to get by West Paces, who is also the best jumper in this race Towcester [4,50] Competitive.Favourite Lancastrian Jet ran well for us the other day,and is sure to try hard again. But with Minella silver under the top pilot Burton, and Tribal Run who runs hard and genuinely both looking like taking a hand, its a difficult one to call although Tribal Run is a decent price. Stakes [1.25pts Total] WEST PACES 0.50pt Place @ 1.59 [betfair] PRINCE DUNDEE 0.25pt Place @ 2.02 [betfair] 0.25pt Reverse Exacta

Parkbench Rovers
Re: Hunter Chase Season Free Gift won the Larkill open well but id be worried about the form he showed when running on good/soft at Folkestone in Feb. I reckon the going will still be on the slow side next week. Agree withthe interesting General Motcalm comments. I reckon Lord Atterbury's connections may have a bigger eye on the National especially after last years cracking effort.
Striker
Re: Hunter Chase Season Hi Well what a busy day in store today, with plenty of races to look at. Sandown [4.20] Two horse race between last years Winner Tales of Bounty and the strong galloping and excellent jumper Althrey Dandy. Ayr [5.15] No strength in depth here, and impressive Sandown winner Emperor Ross looks a solid Favourite. Leicester [2.20] Track should suit Beauchamp Oracle, who rarely runs a bad race. Leicester [2.50] Gadz"art is strongly fancied by some very good judges. Leicester [4.00] Difficult to choose between Cobreces and Swincombe. Leicester [4.30] Awful race, but I know Bold Tactics is better than last couple of form figures suggest. Leicester [5.05] Another weak contest, but Call Me Jack could go well if you have to get involved! Stakes [2pts Total] ALTHREY DANCER 1pt Place @ 1.59 [betfair] GADZ"ART 0.50pt Win @ 1.97 [betfair] 0.25pt Each-Way Double @ Sp
