NRL: Round 9 2012

Eels -1.5 @ 2.75 centrebet Eels should take something away from their 5 try blitz in the last 13 minutes as they came from 31-0 down to lose 31-30. They are up against a Bulldogs side that has lost 4 of its last 5 games, and they have beaten the Bulldogs in 5 of the last 8 matches. Not much between the two side, with two decent pack of forwards and the backs are not bad, except in the fullbacks, you have two matchwinners in Hayne and Barba. Hayne has proven to be a thorn in the side of the Bulldogs in the past and like him to edge this contest and be the difference between the two sides. Cowboys -9.5 @ 2.66 centrebet The Cowboys are usually poor on the road and very good at home, and expect them to bounce back from their loss to the Rabbitohs last week as they look to their forwards to lay the platform for their good set of backs to dominate. While the Dragons would be on some high after their 2 tries in the last 3 minutes to win the game against the Roosters, the concern is whether they are playing at their level they are capable of. Not too confident in their form, and it does not get better as they head to the steamy, tropical conditions of Townsville where they have not won their in the last 7 years. Like Thurston to be the difference here over Soward and control this game for the Cowboys Record: 22-37 (-1.74)

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012 I can't see des haslers dogs lose 4 in a row and tim lafais inclusion should be a boost from what i remember last year he was bullet, real fast down the wings. im expecting michael ennis to have a big game and a big influence on the dogs today as stated in the australian that he is number 1 pick after bederus's injury on monday night and has 2 games to prove to stuart why he should be selected over farah. so he will do whatever it takes to prove that and what better way against the eels tonight. A lot of the bulldogs trys come from beyond halway with barba making blitz runs from his half. A statistic i picked up for NRL.com states that the eels are the number 1 team that has conceeded most trys from runs made beyond halfway. Can not tip against the dogs at home. Bulldogs -3.5 @ 1.72 with Centrebet,

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012

Eels -1.5 @ 2.75 :( Cowboys -9.5 @ 2.66 :D
Record: 23-38 (-1.08) Titans -3.5 @ 5.00 centrebet Titans have not been playing that well but either have the Tigers, and with the home ground advantage, the Titans are in this game. They have beaten the Tigers in 3 of their 4 home games, and if their forward pack can get some yardage, then like them to be too strong here, as the Tigers have had problems in their forwards moving the ball Storm -31.5 @ 5.00 centrebet Storm have been moving the ball really well and can see them being too strong for the Panthers in the backline. They have now seen half back Walsh add to the already congested treatment room, and they do not have the depth to go with the Storm here. THe Storm have won 8 straight games and can see them winning well here yet again

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012 ***In-running bet*** Gold Coast Titans ML @ 1.91 (Betfair) HT Score 14-6 in favour of the Titans. Fantastic looking bet. Tigers look completely uninterested, don't see them coming back in the second half. Big bet for me. GL.

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012 Tough loss that...losing in the last 2 minutes. Hard to win any game when your held to 0 in a half. :puke Despite the Tigers recent upturn in form, they really are an ordinary outfit. A bye next week for them but would gladly oppose them again.

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012

Titans -3.5 @ 5.00 :@ Had this pick for most of the game until they gave it away Storm -31.5 @ 5.00 :D
Record: 24-39 (+1.92) Sea Eagles -19.5 @ 2.73 centrebet Sea Eagles back in form with the good win over the Bulldogs while the Raiders were poor as the Sharks did beat them easily, 44-22. At home where they are usually strong, expect the Sea Eagles to put more pressure on the Raiders who looked aimless in attack without Campese there. Without him there, then like the Manly halves Foran and Cherry-Evans to dominate, while they look too strong in the rest of the backs Roosters -12.5 @ 3.10 centrebet While both sides have been inconsistent this year, like the Roosters, behind their forward pack, and their halves of Pearce and Anasta to be the difference, as the loss of Gidley puts too much pressure on Mullen to produce the goods. The Roosters have a good record against the Knights, and like them to win here after their loss to the Dragons, which has enabled them to have 5 extra days rest to prepare for this game.

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012 Agree with Blackcrows picks but going to go a bit safer with higher stakes, Sea Eagles -9.5 @ 1.71 with centrebet The sea eagles are back home at fortress brookie and they have an excellent record at home desite that rare defeat by the titans last week. From the last 9 games against the raiders 6 of those games ended +13 to the sea eagles! I also feel that the raiders lack direction with out there skipper Campese. Sunday afternoon at brookvale oval leads to a comfortable Eagles Victory! Roosters -4.0 @ 1.91 with Centrebet Sydney roosters have been hot cold latley and were really unlucky last week against the surging dragons that defeated them in the final seconds of the game. A bit of karma for what happend in round one for the souths! This week Anthony Minichello re signed with the roosters so look for him to have a HUGE game! Knights are missing gidley for the season so thats a HUGE blow. I also remember watching the game against the panthers and could have swore bederus was injured but when checking the team list it is stating he will start at hooker? Look for the roosters to get up in this one and especially mini after he resigned with the chooks for another year.

Re: NRL: Round 9 2012 Sharks -1.5 @ 2.35 centrebet Like the way the Sharks have been playing, and especially the forwards have been moving the ball to set it up for Carney to organise the backs. They are playing with a very good team spirit and are willing to work for one another. The Rabbitohs have also shown some form of late, and are to be respected, but not too sure they have the same cohesion the Sharks have. There are rumours that Gallen may be out, but even so, they do have the forward pack to match it with Souths, and like Carney to edge it in the halves Record: 25-40 (+3.02)
