Re: MLB: April 12th 2012 Picks Minnesota - LA Angels over 8.5 @ 2.06 pinnacle Both Liriano for Minnesota and Haren for LA have been hit by the opposing batters, with Liriano giving up 7 runs in his only start against the Angels last year. Liriano is coming off allowing 6 runs in the 8-2 loss to Baltimore while Haren is coming off allowing 5 runs in the 6-3 loss to Kansas last start. Neither pitcher in good form, and these two teams scored 11 runs yesterday, so like them to post similar numbers here. Chicago Cubs @ 2.22 pinnacle Garza for the Cubs pitched reasonably well in his first start of the season as he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits but the bullpen did not support him, as they lost 7-4 to the Nationals. He won both of this starts over the Brewers and is looking to help them avoid the sweep here. Grienke allowed just 4 hits in the 6-0 home win over St Louis last week, but he has had his problems on the road, going 5-6 with a 4.70 ERA in 13 road starts. He allowed 8 runs in the his only start in Chicago against the Cubs last year. Arizona -1.5 @ 2.35 centrebet Kennedy allowed 3 runs in the 5-4 win over San Francisco last Friday and now faces a team he has had success against in the past, as he has a 1.82 ERA in his last 5 starts against San Diego. He also pitched well on the road last year, going 10-2 with a 3.19 ERA in 15 road starts, and like him to out duel Bass, who starts for SD and there is not much history in his short career. Arizona have won 4 of their first 5 games so far, while SD have lost 4 of their 6 games. Record: 6-16 (-7.46)
