Chicago @ New Jersey under 188 Bit hard to understand this total tbh. The last meeting in Chicago was 80-84.....and while Chicago games av. 4.0 ppg extra on the road, NJ games are a whopping 18.2 ppg less @ home!!! Chicago are 1-3 under on 2 days rest av. only 181.8 ppg....NJ av. only 174.7 ppg on 2 days rest! The two teams are a combined 3-10 under when the total is 185-189.5, and the 5 previous meetings @ NJ have all gone under this number, av. 171.4! Expect NJ to come out a bit flat off a 5 game road trip out West. This total does seem a bit high. LA Lakers -3.5 League: 2-11-1 (1-13 this no...Av. loss 10.4) any away dog, 3+ days off 10- ats win as home 4- fav. [Port] Portland are a bad team. They have lost 7 of their last 8 on the road, by an av. of 7.8 points, and none less than 4. They are 2-8 ats on 2+ days rest and only score 88.4 (1-4 ats) on 3+ days rest. Miles back tonight, but it won't help them beat an under-rated Kobe-less LA.
